Abstract: This study aims to examine the relationship between perceived organizational structure and employee engagement which is moderated by perceived organizational support. Organizational support provides assistance for employees in adapting to existing organizational structures. A good organizational structure will improve employee performance and create employee attachments to the work environment. Data from this study were taken from 90 employees of PT. PLN (Persero) Surabaya Office with proportional sampling method. The data analysis technique in this study used multiple linear regression. The results of this study indicate that perceived organizational structure has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, and perceived organizational support reinforces the positive influence of perceived organizational structure on employee engagement.   Keywords:          perceived organizational structure, employee engagement, perceived organizational support

The focus of this research is how to improve employee engagement at the PT.X head office by examining the relationship between organizational culture and organizational perceptions of employee engagement with organizational commitment as a mediator. This research uses quantitative approach, which is a study that aims to explain a cause of the occurrence of social phenomena, which the phenomenon will be explained by conducting an objective measurement. Primary data collection through the dissemination of questionnaires to 74 respondents. Data analysis using the partial least square equation model or can be known as SEM-PLS. Based on the results of research that has been found, it can be concluded that organizational culture variable does not give a significant direct positive influence on employee engagement, whereas when viewed on variables perceived organizational support and organizational commitment, these two variables have a significant positive direct affect on employee engagement. If the direct influence relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement does not have a significant influence, but when the variable is mediated by organizational commitment, then the results state that there is a significant positive influence relationship between the two variables.  This shows that the organization's commitment to succeed has a significant role in mediating the relationship between organizational culture and employee engagement.

The present study intends to investigate the influence of perceived organizational support (POS) on employee intention to stay (ITS) in an organization. Further, study examines the mediating role of employee engagement (EE) on the relationship between perceived organizational support (POS) and employee intention to stay (ITS). Data has been collected from 323 employees working in three major private telecom companies, namely, Airtel Limited, Vodafone–Idea Limited and Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited operating in J&K (UT). Data has been scrutinized using structural equation modelling (SEM). Findings of the study indicates that POS has a significant positive influence on ITS and EE, partially mediates the relationship between POS and ITS. The study has significant implications for managers as well as practitioners. First, it contributes to social exchange theory by understanding employees’ perception about organizational support on their intention to stay via engagement. Second, it encourages managers to cultivate an environment of support in order to engage the employees because only the engaged employees show intense desire to stay with their organization. It is the first study that examines the indirect impact of POS on ITS via EE.

This study was to analyze the effect of perceived organizational support on employee engagement and its impact on employee job satisfaction. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. Hypothesis testing using the hierarchical regression analysis method with the help of SPSS version 21. The results showed that: there was a positive influence on perceived organizational support on employee engagement. with the result Z = 0.628; t = 6,096; p <0.001; there is a positive effect of perceived organizational support on employee performance indicated by the result Y = 0.791; t = 12,022; p <0.001; There is a positive influence on employee engagement on employee performance as indicated by Y = 0.323; t = 2,766; p <0.01); and employee engagement can be proven as a mediating variable on the effect of perceived organizational support on the performance of administrative employees. So, there is an effect of perceived organizational support on employee engagement and its impact on employee job satisfaction. These findings are expected to evaluate employee performance and understand the process of implementing policies for employees.

This study aims to analyze the effect of perceived organizational support (POS) and employee engagement on performance and the role of job satisfaction in mediating the effect of perceived organizational support (POS) and employee engagement on performance. The population in this study were permanent employees at PT. Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk. The research method used was a survey and a sample size of 185 employees. The research instrument adopted from previous research. Retrieval of data by means of questionnaires and interviews. Validity and reliability tests show all questionnaire items are valid and reliable. To test H1 and H2 with simple regression, H3 and H4 test with Baron and Kenny regression model. The results of hypothesis testing show that: (1) perceived organizational support has a significant effect on employee performance, (2) employee engagement has a significant effect on employee performance, (3) job satisfaction partially mediates the effect of perceived organizational support on employee performance, and (4) job satisfaction does not mediate the effect of Employee engagement on employee performance.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship between HRM practices and employee engagement. Although employee engagement has got a great attention among the industry practitioners in recent times, it requires more considerations particularly in the academic literature. Based on the norms of social exchange theory (SET), this study has developed the framework to examine the role of perceived organizational support (POS) on HRM practices-employee engagement linkage. Survey data has been collected from employees who are working in different private commercial banks in Bangladesh. This study has used a sample of 376 employees using cluster sampling technique. To analyze the data, this study has employed SmartPLS 3.0 version software. The results of structural equation modeling revealed that HRM practices namely career advancement, job security and performance were significantly and positively related to employee engagement. The results also showed that POS can moderate the relationship between HRM practices and employee engagement. It suggests that in the presence of POS, relatively low level of employees’ perceptions regarding job related resources will exert a high level of employees’ behavioral outcomes such as engagement. The implications and suggestions for future research have also been discussed.

Purpose The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationships between perceived organizational support, employee engagement, employee performance and affective commitment in the context of Indian higher education. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected from 410 employees from various higher educational institutes of India using a self-administered questionnaire. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data. Findings The results revealed a positive influence of perceived organizational support on employee performance and affective commitment. Moreover, these relationships have also been found to be mediated by employee engagement. Practical implications The study serves as guide for the development of influential strategies to develop and retain a well engaged, competent and committed workforce at higher educational institutes in India. Originality/value The study enriches the organizational behavior literature by identifying and empirically validating some antecedents and consequences of employee engagement in the context of Indian higher education where such studies are scant.

This study aims to determine the influence of work environment and perceived organizational support on the employee’s performance of PT Y in Surabaya, both directly or indirectly with employee engagement as an intervening variable. This research is a quantitative study. Population and sample based on the distribution of questionnaires to the performance of the employees of PT Y in Surabaya was taken as many as 30 respondents. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and questionnaires. For statistical tests and the processing of data is carried out by using the partial least square (Smart PLS 3.0). The study showed that each variable, work environment and perceived organizational support had a direct significant influence on employee performance and employee engagement. Work environment had a direct significant effect on employee performance with a t-statistical value of 2.136 greater than the indirect effect through employee engagement as an intervening variable with a t-statistics value of 1.454. While perceived organizational support had a direct effect on employee performance with t-statistics of 2.550 is greater when compared to the indirect effect through employee engagement as an intervening variable with t-statistics 2.042.

Objective - Telecommunication companies need their people to engage in their activities to achieve organizational goals. So, employee engagement became a crucial aspect of a company that struggles to win the competition. Some literature shows that human resource practice affects employee engagement. The present study examines the impact of perceived organizational support as a mediator on the relationship. Methodology/Technique - Data were collected from a branch office of the biggest telecommunication company in Bandung during May 2019. The questionnaires were distributed through the human resources department for four weeks. We analyze 112 valid responses by using SPSS and Macro Process. Findings - By conducting regression with bootstrapping we found that perceived organizational support mediates the relationship between effective human resources practice and employee engagement. The result suggests that a telecommunication company should practice good human resources practice including proper recruitment, training & development, reward, career advancement, and employee relation so that the employees can perceive its support and increase their engagement. Novelty – This finding provides the implication that good management of human resources practice and perceived organizational support can increase employee engagement. Engaging employees and being supportive in enhancing their well-being in an organization is very paramount. Past studies show that these practices and policies are beneficial to the commitment level of the employer and the employee in the attainment of employee performance. This study was then conceptualized to examine the moderating effect of perceived organizational support on the relationships between organizational climate and organizational commitment and organizational commitment and employee performance. Also, the mediating effect of organizational commitment in the relationship between organizational climate and employee performance. Drawing on employees from the power generation companies in Ghana, a systematic sampling method was employed in choosing 371 respondents for the study. Hierarchical regression in SPSS software (version 23) was employed to analyze the hypotheses. It was observed that organizational commitment partially mediated the relationship between organizational climate and employee performance. However, perceived organizational support had no moderation effect on the relationship between organizational climate and organizational commitment. Furthermore, perceived organizational support had no moderation effect on the relationship between organizational commitment and employee performance. These results suggest that with an effective organizational climate, organizational support does little to strengthen or weaken employee performance. The practical implication is also discussed.

<em>This study uses objects in one of the Batik industries in Tuban, which is currently experiencing a fairly rapid growth in the increasingly competitive business environment. The focus of this research is on employee performance. This study aims to investigate the mechanism between empowering leadership and perceived organiza-tional support for employee performance by using self efficacy as mediation and knowledge sharing as a moderator. This quantitative study is based on data collected using questionnaires distributed to 40 respondents of UKM Batik HM. Sholeh emplo-yees and using partial least square (PLS) technique for data analysis. In the results of the analysis using PLS, it was found that self-efficacy mediates the relationship of empowering leadership and perceived organizational support for employee perfor-mance. In addition, the role of knowledge sharing moderates or strengthens the relationship between self-efficacy and employee performance. Training of need analysis is necessary according to the more dynamic movement of the business world, especially in the batik industry. It is a rapidly growing industry, both from competitors and the technology used. So in this case, an innovation is also necessary to be able to compete effectively and to fill consumers’ needs.</em>
