The recent violent anti-social acts by individuals and groups who feel deeply committed to some or other religious ideal have underscored the importance of the inculcation of religious tolerance in young children for the sake of peaceful coexistence in increasingly diverse and pluralistic communities. The key to such inculcation is education in the most positive sense of the word, i.e. as nurturing, guiding and equipping. Research has shown that some young people are being subjected to a form of negative pedagogy or anti-pedagogy that shapes them to be religiously intolerant. The purpose of this article is to show how education in the most positive sense of the word could be employed to make such etchings on the souls (personalities) of young people that would shape them to become cultured and religiously tolerant persons. They could become people with integrity, equipped with life-maps helping them to live peacefully in increasingly diverse and pluralistic societies, able and willing to contribute to their own well-being and also to that of all other people.

Abstract This article suggests a way for scholars of Japanese religion to contribute to the international discussion on “nones” or the “non-religious,” who have been characterized as “believing without belonging,” “belonging without believing,” “believing in belonging,” etc. by integrating three different discursive arenas: one on multiple secularities as a context-conscious reexamination of functional differentiation; one on Japanese modernization centered on the idea of ie (household)-mura (village community); and one on a recent Japanese obsession with tsunagari (relationships, connection) and shōnin (recognition). The article argues that Japanese non-religiousness in the 2010s is an updated, self-conscious version of “religion as human relationships,” which can be paraphrased as “practicing belonging.” Moreover, while the current “religion as human relationships” practiced among young people tends to be confined to the intimate sphere, its traditional version regulated the public sphere as well. It was this public sphere of “religion as human relationships” that came to appear secular, as opposed to World Religions as matters of personal choice, in the process of modernization, which included the adoption of the Western concepts of “religion” and “secular.” The article also suggests that a “relationships turn” has been taking place not only in nonreligious rituals and festivals but also in spiritual culture and institutionalized religion.

In his speech at the conference "Ensuring social stability, preserving the purity of our sacred religion" in Tashkent on June 15, 2017, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke about the education of the younger generation: "Another important issue that always concerns us is the morality of our youth. Today, the world is changing rapidly. Who are the young people who feel these changes more than anyone else? Let the young people meet the requirements of their time. But at the same time, do not forget the few. Who we are, how great we are. "Let the call that we are the generation of the people always resonate in their hearts and encourage them to remain faithful to the minority. How can we achieve this? At the expense of upbringing, education and only upbringing." [1]

The results of an empirical study related to the problem of involving modern youth in religious and religious organizations through the Internet space are presented in the article. It is assumed in the hypothesis that the success of this process is largely due to the severity of certain personal characteristics in young people. 60 people acted as respondents, of which: 30 - not involved in religious and cult organizations and 30 - participants in closed religious groups on social networks, 17 men and 43 women aged 20-28 years, as well as 50 experts working in institutions dealing with religious studies and sectarianism, took part in the study. A specially developed author's questionnaire was used, as well as standardized methods. It was revealed that a young man involved in religious organizations aspires to people, to be a member of a social group, he is characterized by low self-esteem, a level of critical thinking, a degree of protection against manipulation, as well as a tendency to dependent behavior.

A number of works are being carried out on the formation of high spirituality, ensuring freedom of conscience, and applying the principle of religious tolerance in Uzbekistan. The study and promotion of the rich religious and philosophical heritage created by our great ancestors, as well as the works of the world philosophy of religion, have become widespread. Teaching students the basics of religious studies, the history of world religions, and the philosophy of world religions is an important factor in forming a scientifc worldview in society and fostering a spirit of respect for religious feelings. In the speech of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the 72nd session of the UN General Assembly in September 2017, in New York, a proposal was put forward to adopt a special resolution entitled “Enlightenment and religious tolerance”, and accordingly, on December 12, 2018, the adoption of a special resolution entitled “Enlightenment and religious tolerance” at the UN General Assembly indicates that understanding, analysis, and evaluation of religious and social processes based on knowledge shows that this has become an urgent problem throughout the world. In this sense, it is desirable to inform modern students about the philosophical ideas, analyses and concepts expressed in the feld of religion, as well as to develop their skills of independent analysis. This article on the topic of German non-classical religious and philosophical concepts has theoretical and practical-pedagogical signifcance in this regard. It is intended to give religious and philosophical thoughts, coherent ideas that have had a great impact on world cultural development, the purpose of which is to look deeper at the views of German non-classical philosophers on religion and other aspects of it, as well as to show their role and signifcance in understanding modern cultural processes. The article focuses on the description of religious and philosophical teachings formed by post-classical German philosophers according to historical retrospect, and the degree of correspondence of certain characteristic moments of these teachings with Islamic values. The analysis shows that most German non-classical philosophers put forward ideas close to Islamic values in terms of the content of their teachings.
