Increasing the character of dress and decoration of students through the understanding of fiqh of women in MAN Pasuruan City, MAN Pasuruan City students use uniforms in an Islamic way, at least the hair and limbs are not visible apart from the hands and face. Meanwhile, the efforts of PAI teachers in improving the dress and decorating morals of students through the understanding of women's fiqh in Pasuruan City MAN, namely trying their best, especially female students always cover their genitals not only at school but outside school, they must always cover their genitals, if women have their genitals all over their faces and palms. . Then many of them have followed recommendations to cover their genitals, especially from religious teachers. Whereas the method used by Islamic Education teachers in improving the dress and decorating morals of students through the understanding of women's fiqh in MAN Pasuruan City is the most important method is the habituation method, so if you meet students there are things that are not good seen will be given directions, lecture methods and discussion, and methods of providing motivation.

The study aims to identify the development of the Islah and Tajdid movements in Malaya and the impact on Islamic education for women starting at the madrasah level to the high level in the late 20th century. This study discusses the movement of Islah and Tajdid which appeared at the beginning of the 20th century in Malaya and analyzed the influence of thinking on Islamic women's education. This study was conducted using a qualitative study, where all data information from primary and secondary sources was scrutinized and analyzed by taking an inductive approach. The study found that the characters involved in this movement in Malaya since the very beginning of their return from their studies in Egypt have supported the thought of Sheikh Muhammad Abduh and Sheikh Rasyid Ridha in the case of women's education. They wrote and worked on publications through newspapers and magazines that voiced the importance of Muslim women to be given freedom of education to engage in society. In order to realize these thoughts and awareness, they also set up special madrasah for female students in Penang, Melaka and Singapore. The influence of their thinking has led to the awareness of the Malay community with the establishment of madrasah in the states of Kelantan, Kedah, Perlis, and Johor and opened the widest opportunities for female students to receive education. Until the Independence era of Malaya, these madrasah have expanded to whole land of Malay as the efforts and awareness of group of religionist that support the thinking of Islah and Tajdid. In 1952 Malaya Islamic College was established and followed by Yayasan Pengajian Tinggi Islam Kelantan (YPTIK) in 1956 as a result of this group's efforts. Women's students also have the opportunity to pursue higher levels of education until there is an Islamic women's education network between Malaysia, Indonesia and Egypt. At the end of the 20th century, Muslim women had succeeded in occupying various career fields, especially in Islamic education as teachers in schools, as a lecturer at higher learning centers that offering various fields of Islamic studies and as civil servants in government departments.

Islamic Education in school is an education that provides knowledge, skill, and develops students’ attitude so they can practice Islamic teachings with properly. Implementation of Islamic Education in reality is not enough only with lessons Islamic Education but must to developed through extracurricular Islamic Education. This writing focussed is to description extracurricular Islamic Education in State Junior High School 3 Malang. The question who wants to be answered is form and implementations extracurricular Islamic Education in State Junior High School 3 Malang in years 2018. Extracurricular Islamic Education at State Junior High School 3 Malang covering: 1) Imtaq, 2) dhuhur and Jumah together, 3) coaching female students, 4) Islamic preaching council, 5) Qur’an read program, 6) Quran tahfidz program, 7) charity program, 8) commemoration of Islamic days, 9) Qur’an tahseen program, and 10) Ramadhan activities.

<p><em>Thesis as one of the requirements to obtain a bachelor degree, ideally it can be completed in one semester, but many students finish the thesis more than the allocated time. This condition is caused by many factors including gender differences, male and female students have many differences especially in the allocation of time to finish a thesis. This research aimed to find out the factors that influence the time needed to finish a thesis and the classification of these factors based on their gender. The factors observed were GPA, gender and competence of the supervisor, types of research used, source of the data  and technique of the data collection. The statistical analysis used was the CHAID method. The result of this study showed that out of 387 male students who have graduated in period I to VI, it was found that the factors which influence them to finish their thesis were GPA. While for female students, out of 1150 data, three factors that influence them were major, sources of data and expertise areas of the main supervisors. Moreover, three characteristics of students who finish thesis longer than 6 months were male students with a GPA less than 3,34, female students from Islamic Education/English Department/Math Department  with the source primary/ secondary data or others, and female students from guidance and couceling department by the psychologist’s/ others as main supervisor.</em><em></em></p><p align="left"><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> </em><em>thesis, allocated time to finish thesis, </em><em> </em><em>CHAID method.</em></p>

Kertas konsep ini membincangkan berkenaan kaedah talaqqī musyāfahah yang digunakan dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran tilawah al-Quran. Perbincangan yang dikemukakan ini melibatkan sejarah dan perkembangan kaedah talaqqī musyāfahah. Selain itu, kepentingan kaedah talaqqī musyāfahah turut dibincangkan merangkumi proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran tilawah al-Quran. Kaedah talaqqī musyāfahah disebarkan seiring dengan perkembangan agama Islam. Rasulullah SAW merupakan insan yang mempelopori kaedah ini sejak Baginda menerima wahyu yang pertama. Kaedah talaqqī musyāfahah memainkan peranan penting dalam bidang tilawah al-Quran dan keilmuan Islam. Sistem pendidikan Islam di Malaysia menerima pakai kaedah ini melalui ulama-ulama terdahulu yang mengajar di madrasah dan masjid. Perkembangan kaedah ini berkait rapat dengan amalan tilawah al-Quran yang menjadi keutamaan umat Islam di negara ini. Penghasilan kaedah-kaedah moden pula membantu menambah baik serta menjadi alternatif kepada murid dalam tilawah al-Quran. Umat Islam juga menggunakan peluang mempelajari tilawah al-Quran melalui teknologi maklumat. Antaranya ialah dengan mempelajari al-Quran menggunakan kaedah talaqqī musyāfahah melalui medium yang baharu seperti kelas pengajian atas talian. Kaedah talaqqī musyāfahah terus menjadi kaedah penting dalam membantu murid-murid di sekolah dan umat Islam yang mempelajari tilawah al-Quran sehingga ke hari ini. Keberkesanan kaedah talaqqī musyāfahah tidak dapat dinafikan dengan kajian-kajian lepas yang menunjukkan kaedah ini memberi kesan positif dalam proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran al-Quran.   This concept paper discusses the method of talaqqī musyāfahah used in the process of teaching and learning the recitation of the Quran. The discussion presented involves the history and development of the method of talaqqī musyāfahah. In addition, the importance of talaqqī musyāfahah which include the process of teaching and learning the recitation of the Quran was discussed. The method of talaqqī musyāfahah was spread in line with the development of Islam. Rasulullah SAW is the person who pioneered this method since he received the first revelation. The method of talaqqī musyāfahah plays an important role in the field of recitation of the Quran and Islamic knowledge. The Islamic education system in Malaysia implemented this method based on previous scholars from madrasahs and mosques. The development of this method is closely related to the practice of reciting the Quran which is the priority of Muslims in this country. The production of modern methods also helps to improve and be an alternative for students in the recitation of the Quran. At present, Muslims use the opportunity to learn the recitation of the Quran by using the method of talaqqī musyāfahah with the help of technology through online class as a new medium of learning the Quran. The method of talaqqī musyāfahah continues to be an important method in facilitate the students and Muslims in the process of learning of the Quran. Previous studies showed that method of talaqqī musyāfahah positively affect the process of teaching and learning of the Quran.

This study aims to describe the principal's strategy in building the image of the school through religious character education in SDN Negeri Wonocationan 1. This research is a descriptive qualitative study, with data sources obtained through direct observation or observation, interviews with informants and documentation. The results showed that in improving the school's image the principal's strategy was to carry out activities in instilling the values ​​of religious character, it could be classified into three activities namely (1) integration in subjects. As seen in the BTQ program that can be carried out in Islamic education teaching, (2) habituation activities can be seen from the habits that are carried out every day at school, namely the implementation of Dhuha and Dzuhur prayer in congregation, reading Asmaul Husna every morning, wearing headscarves for female students from grade 1 to grade 6, refracting smiles, greetings and greetings. (3) The last activity is a school extracurricular which includes the implementation of Istigosah, BTQ and Hadrah Al-Banjari training.

This article studies a sociological pesantren community, particularly a �relationship between male and female students in Jamaah Tabligh in Pesantren Temboro. Relationship pattern of male and female students in a pesantren (a traditional Islamic education based on boarding school) tends to be exclusive that inhibits both male and female students to have relationship closely. Interestingly, many students get married at the end of their study. This study investigates how the process on selecting mate, both male and female students, what is the concept of selecting mate (partner) on their perspective, and how the marriage process is practiced by students of Pesantren Temboro. More important is how woman rights on choosing a mate that is determined by their parents. This study is limited field research in Pesantren Temboro, Magetan, East Java as recognized as the largest Islamic education of Jamaah Tabligh in Indonesia. Researchers got the data by interviewing pesantren functionaries related and santri families that did marriage in the pesantren.Keywords: Mate, Arranged marriage, Woman Rights, Jamaah Tabligh.�AbstrakKajian ini berangkat dari persoalan sosiologis masyarakat pesantren, yakni pola relationship santri khususnya dalam hubungan laki-laki dan perempuan di pesantren Jamaah Tabligh, Temboro. Pola hubungan santri Temboro putra dan putri cenderung tertutup yang tidak memungkinkan keduanya untuk �hubungan khusus� untuk mengenal satu dengan yang lainnya. Namun hal yang menarik adalah banyak terjadi pernikahan yang terjadi antara santri putra dan putri di Pesantren Temboro ini. Di sinilah letak menariknya kajian ini, yakni menelusuri bagaimana proses pemilihan jodoh, baik santri putra ataupun santri putri. Bagiamana konsep pemilihan jodoh tersebut? Serta bagaimana praktik pernikahan tersebut dilakukan oleh santri? Hal yang tak kalah penting adalah bagaimana �hak pilih� perempuan dalam penentuan jodoh yang dilakukan oleh wali? kajian ini merupakan studi lapangan yang terbatas di Pesantren Temboro Magetan Jawa Timur yang terkenal sebagai pendidikan Jamaah Tabligh Terbesar di Indonesia. Peneliti mengumpulkan data melalui wawancara pada pengurus pesantren yang terlibat dalam proses perjodohan dan para santri yang telah menikah dengan melalui proses tersebut.Kata Kunci: Jodoh, Perjodohan, Hak Perempuan, Jamaah Tabligh.

This paper focuses on two issues. Firstly, the role performed by women (nyais) in managing pesantren by considering the issue of work division, authority and responsibility principles in management practices.  Secondly, it observes on how knowledge is managed and preserved in pesantren. This paper is based on reviews of the previous research about women and pesantren. Thi study shows that there are three types of nyai’s role in managing pesantren education. First, a nyai who hold clear responsibility, work division and at the same time owned authority in managing a male and female students. Second, a nyai who has a clear division of work, and responsibility but does not have authority in managing a male and female students. And third, a nyai who leads a sepcific female pesantren and hold authority, responsibility and task in developing her pesantren. It is through various method of learning, espceially memorization of knowledge and the Qur’an, that tradition and knowledge of Islamic tradional subjects in pesantren are preserved and practiced.

The aim of this study was to identify the jurisprudence provisions related to women, included in the textbooks of the second cycle (grades 5-10) of basic education. To achieve this, a list of these provisions, consisting of 65 items and an achievement multiple-choice test were prepared. After confirming the validity and reliability of the two instruments, the test was administered to a sample of 280 tenth grade students. The most important findings of this study were: Imbalance in the distribution of provisions according to class/grade, where most of the provisions are focused the textbook of the seventh grade. The degree of students' acquisition of these provisions was 70.39% which is less than the educationally acceptable level set by the researcher at 75%. The study made a number of recommendations, including the need to achieve balance and diversity in the distribution of jurisprudence provisions relating to women in the second cycle (grades 5-10) of basic education.

Having professional competence is a must for prospective teachers. Professional competence of Islamic Education prospective teacher can be seen from the ability to master the theories of Islamic Education. Based on the author's observations on their abilities in mastering and explaining the theories, female prospective teachers are better than male prospective teachers. This research was conducted through observation. The research result shows the professional competence of prospective teachers of Islamic Education in sufficient category. Based on gender, female students gain better competence (59,9%) than male students (55,2%).
