Abstract Carbon nanomaterials are becoming new materials which can be used in many fields including transistors, sensors, displays, hydrogen storage, capacitors, catalyst supporters and so on. PECVD is an important method for producing carbon nanomaterials. However, it remains a challenge to control the final production of the PECVD process. This paper tries to figure out the gas factors influencing the growth of different carbon nanomaterials. This paper begins with a brief introduction of PECVD and the growth regime of carbon nanowalls and carbon nanotubes. It discusses how the Argon, carbon source, hydrogen and other gas affect the growth of CNMs. The paper ends with a discussion on the practical influence of confirming the function of each gas.

Thermal propagation test of lithium-ion battery is an important method to verify the safety of battery system, and how to effectively trigger the thermal runaway of a cell and minimize the energy introduced into the system become the key of test method design. In this work, the influence of different heating area and different heating power on thermal runaway of prismatic cells and pouch cells is studied. The results show that when the heating area is fixed, the heating power increases, the heating time required to trigger the thermal runaway of the cells becomes shorter. The energy needed to be introduced becomes smaller, but there will be a minimum value of the introduced energy. On the other hand, the thermal runaway results of prismatic cells are more sensitive to the change of heating area, and the thermal runaway results of pouch cells are more sensitive to heating power.

The age of adolescence represents few years of uncertainties and unknown in the development and evolution of a young people. In the search of his own identity, the adolescent needs symbols in order to access the unconscious personal resources. Working with metaphors in the process of counselling and psychotherapy facilitates new signification and sense for the adolescent that experience the most provocative period of his life. This article focuses on the benefits of using metaphorical techniques to improve emotional health in adolescents. We supposed that using a brief experiential metaphoric exercise (My own relaxation and recreation place) would allow the group members to improve their present emotional anxiety experience. The adolescents became more aware of their inner resources (such as tranquillity, calm, trust and hope) and needs. Present finding indicate the effects of expressive-creative methods on anxiety state. Using metaphor in the therapy of adolescents could be an important method to reduce the anxiety and to help them understand the role of their emotions in the process of personal development.

Abstract Since its inception, social media has been an important method of constructing and performing identity, including gender identity. Identity work on social media is perhaps especially relevant to Gen Z (those born after 1996; Parker & Igielnik, 2020), who are the first generation with access to it in early childhood. In this article, we explore how Gen Z constructs and performs gender identity and other facets of intersectional identity on popular video platform TikTok by analyzing selected content from three TikTokers through the lenses of performativity, intersectionality, and automediality.

The article is dedicated to a very important topic, which belongs not only to literature but also to Ukrainian history, culture and social life. Speaking about memory, we mean the experience of the past, which very often influences the main aspects of our modernity, in particular, if we are talking about traumatic experience of the history, which was not rethought and did not become a socio-cultural discourse. In the context of the mentioned research problem, the fact that women experience cruelty, humiliation, and injustice is one of those questions, which were not solved during the last decades of developing of democratic societies. Contemporary Ukrainian literature tries to find a solution of unfair reception of the past using a very important method of rethinking traumatic memory. That is why it becomes the subject of different researches, one of which is in the suggested article.

Abstract Spodoptera frugiperda is a migratory and destructive crop pest. The number of eggs is an important method to evaluate the pest situation, which can be estimated by the area of egg mass. The traditional manual method is inefficient, but the new method of egg mass image recognition improves the efficiency of eggs number estimation. In this paper, the optimized Faster-RCNN target detection algorithm was used to recognize the egg mass image of Spodoptera frugiperda. The Maximum Between-Class Variance method (Otsu) was used for threshold segmentation to obtain the position, shape and size of the egg mass and calculate the area of the egg mass. The mean value of the relative error of the egg mass area in the test samples was -0.02032, and the minimum value was -0.00047. The experimental results show that the egg area calculation method proposed in this paper is fast and accurate, which can meet the requirements of egg area measurement.

AbstractGrowing popularity of herbal medicine has increased the demand of medicinal orchids in the global markets leading to their overharvesting from natural habitats for illegal trade. To stop such illegal trade, the correct identification of orchid species from their traded products is a foremost requirement. Different species of medicinal orchids are traded as their dried or fresh parts (tubers, pseudobulbs, stems), which look similar to each other making it almost impossible to identify them merely based on morphological observation. To overcome this problem, DNA barcoding could be an important method for accurate identification of medicinal orchids. Therefore, this research evaluated DNA barcoding of medicinal orchids in Asia where illegal trade of medicinal orchids has long existed. Based on genetic distance, similarity-based and tree-based methods with sampling nearly 7,000 sequences from five single barcodes (ITS, ITS2, matK, rbcL, trnH-psbA and their seven combinations), this study revealed that DNA barcoding is effective for identifying medicinal orchids. Among single locus, ITS performed the best barcode, whereas ITS + matK exhibited the most efficient barcode among multi-loci. A barcode library as a resource for identifying medicinal orchids has been established which contains about 7,000 sequences of 380 species (i.e. 90%) of medicinal orchids in Asia.

The density of anthropogenic activity in the port of blue fish leads to the contribution of heavy metals in sediments. The method of leaching is an important method to dissolve all zinc in the sediment precision and accuracy. Research on zinc levels in sediments has been widely practiced, but fractionation and distribution of zinc attachment in Blue Spring sediment using BCR Sonification. The results of the zinc analysis using BCR Sonification method gave precision value of 0.49 percent, and accuracy of 91.20 percent, the results showed that BCR method has high precision and accuracy value. The fractionation of zinc metal in the sediments shows that zinc is dominant in non-resistant (1) fractions comprising an ion exchange fraction, (2) carbonate bound fraction, (3) reduction fraction and (3) an oxidation fraction with a percentage of 10.16 percent; 23.52 percent; 21.25 percent. Whereas in the fraction resistant or residual fraction the concentration of zinc in the sediment was 45.07%. The distribution of zinc levels in sediments at nine locations in Sendang Biru ranged from 36.6 mg/kg - 239,78mg/ kg indicating that the Blue Sendang sediment was partly contaminated from anthropogenic because the zinc levels had exceeded the ereference of 120 mg/ kg. Padatnya kegiatan antropogenik di pelabuhan ikan sendang biru menyebabkan adanya kontribusi seng dalam sedimen. Metode leaching merupakan metode yang penting untuk melarutkan semua seng dalam sedimen secara presisi dan akurasi. Penelitian kadar seng dalam sedimen telah banyak dilakukan, tetapi fraksinasi dan distribusi keterikatan seng dalam sedimen Sendang Biru menggunakan metode BCR Sonifikasi. Hasil penelitian analisis seng menggunakan metode BCR Sonifikasi memberikan nilai presisi sebesar 0,49 persen, dan akurasi sebesar 91,20 persen, hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa metode BCR memiliki nilai presisi dan akurasi yang tinggi. Fraksinasi logam seng dalam sedimen menunjukkan bahwa seng dominan pada fraksi non resisten yang terdiri dari fraksi (1) pertukaran ion, (2) fraksi terikat karbonat, (3) fraksi reduksi, dan (4) fraksi oksidasi dengan presentase sebesar 10,16 persen; 23,52 persen; 21,25 persen, sedangkan pada fraksi resisten atau fraksi residu konsentrasi seng dalam sedimen adalah 45,07 persen. Distribusi kadar seng dalam sedimen pada sembilan lokasi di Sendang Biru berkisar antara 36,6mg/kg - 239,78mg/kg. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sedimen Sendang Biru sebagian terkontaminasi dari antropogenik dengan kadar melebihi ambang batas yaitu sebesar 120 mg/kg.

The formation of the arteriovenous fistula is an important method of vascular access for patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD). This allows renal filtration resulting in improved life quality and expectancy for ESRD patients. The biggest drawback to arteriovenous fistula formation is thrombosis, which can occur at an early or delayed stage. One suggested method of reducing postoperative arteriovenous fistula thrombosis rates is the administration of intraoperative systemic heparin. Heparin use in this context is debated, and there is currently no consensus on its use. There are a number of small randomised control studies trialling use of heparin but no large systematic trials. In this report, we collate existing evidence in the form of a review article and attempt to extrapolate a consensus of the evidence.

Abstract. Aeromagnetic exploration is an important method of geophysical exploration. We study the compensation method of the towed bird system and establish the towed bird interference model. Due to the geomagnetic gradient changing greatly, the geomagnetic gradient is considered in the towed bird interference model. In this paper, we model the geomagnetic field gradient and analyze the influence of the towed bird system on the aeromagnetic compensation results. Finally, we apply the ridge regression method to solve the problem. We verify the feasibility of this compensation method through actual flight tests and further improve the data quality of the towed bird interference.
