This chapter examines the role of the destination approach in the development of internal tourism in Uzbekistan. The trump-card of tourism in Uzbekistan is ancient cities like Tashkent, Samarkand, Shakhrisabz, Bukhara and Khiva. The chapter is focused on substantiation of destination model of tourism management, based on a junction of regional management and marketing theories. In order to reform the one-dimensional “package” system of tourism supply that operates in Uzbekistan to a multi-sided “integration” system it is recommended to run “creating destinations” policy in the tourism industry. That implies the creation process of integrated tourist destination based on organic combination of tourism supply and demand. The chapter describes seven stages of destination creating process: determination of purpose of visit in tourist location; selection of sights from destinations; clarification and analyzing destinations creating factors, explanation principles of creating destination; development criteria of creating destinations; creation of attractive destinations; arrangement of destination management system.

Friction between cargo and vehicle’s deck has been considered among the supplemental means for securing cargo. Although friction coefficients have been determined as a function of different influencing factors, such measurements have been performed under laboratory controlled conditions that simplify vehicle vibration and cargo-deck stiffness and contact characteristics. In this paper a methodology is proposed to quantify cargo-deck friction coefficients under realistic field conditions throughout the kinematical analysis of the stopping of the cargo-carrying vehicle by effects of dragging the cargo on the vehicle’s platform. The vehicle is located on an inclined road segment while the cargo is lashed to a fixed point on the road, in such a manner that the vehicle can travel a certain distance before the lashing becomes tensioned and the cargo starts stopping the vehicle. While average values for friction coefficients correlated well with those reported in the literature, standard deviations represented up to 33% of such average values.

In order to manufacture a workpiece fulfilling specified requirements with the lowest possible weight, it is crucial to be able to work with a variety of materials and to combine them accordingly. The production of profiles based on hybrid materials demonstrates such an approach. The continuous and selective reinforcement of aluminum profiles with metallic elements like steel wire and steel wire ropes by composite extrusion is being investigated within the scope of research of the Transregional Collaborative Research Center (SFB/TR10). A stable production process for composite profiles with embedded continuous reinforcing elements was developed during the research work. In this paper, the process principle is shown and an overview of the special tools is given. Furthermore, the temperature and the strand speed as influencing factors on the final state of the composite are analyzed, based on real size experiments using a 2.5MN and a 10 MN extrusion press.

In the alkaline medium of pH=9.18, Cu2+ can be reduced to Cu+ by the sulfhydryl (-SH) of cysteine, and it result in the decrease the amount of Cu2+ in the system. The decrement of Cu2+ is directly proportional to the addition of cysteine, then using bis-cyclohexanone oxalyldihydrazone (BCO) as chromogenic reagent for Cu2+ to determinate the content of cysteine indirectly by discoloration spectrophotometry. A new method for the determination of cysteine by discoloration spectrophotometry using Copper(II)-BCO has been established. The influencing factors of the determination of cysteine is investigated. The results show that the maximum absorption wavelength of chromogenic system was 602 nm, in the range of 0.008000~0.06800 mg/mL, the linear relationship between the decrease of absorbance and the mass concentration of methimazol is A=0.2162+2.4824C (mg/mL), and the linear correlation coefficient is r=0.9959. The method has been applied to the determination of cysteine in food, and the results are basically consistent with those determined by pharmacopoeial method.

To determine the impact of influencing factors on unsupported roof stability in coal mine roadway, a mechanical model of the unsupported roof was built. FLAC 3D numerical simulation was utilized to study the stability of the unsupported roof under the influence of the depth of the roadway, the thickness of the roof, and the unsupported-support distance. In view of the key influencing factors, the geological conditions of the site, and the relationship between the tensile stress and tensile strength of the unsupported roof, the maximum unsupported roof distance during roadway excavation was determined. Considering the surplus safety factor of the unsupported roof, the reasonable unsupported roof distance during the excavation of roadway 150802 was finally determined to be 2.08 m. The comprehensive roadway excavation speed increased by 62.7%, achieving a monthly progress over 500 m.

Respecting the principles of analytics, systematization and comprehensiveness, the paper deals with the frames of disparity between supply and demand in services market. The basic reasons for disparity are systematically divided into five groups: (1) reasons for problems in the area of information on supply and demand, (2) reasons for problems in the area of parallel functioning of the gray market, (3) reasons for problems in the area of psychological conditions and perceptions of consumers, (4) reasons for problems in the area of social and economic situation, (5) reasons in the area of institutional functioning. These groups contain reasons of the general character and reasons in individual areas and flows. The analysis of disparity has been conducted via relevant relations of demand and supply that exist in services market, as follows: (1) the relation of supply of services provided by companies towards adequate forms of demand (other companies, institutions, population), (2) the relation of institutions' supply of services toward adequate forms of demand (all companies, population) and (3) the relation of unofficial supply of services toward adequate demand (population). Within basic prerequisites for the solution to disparity of demand and supply in the service sector, we have especially emphasized and analyzed personnel potential. We have analyzed elements and problems of the labor market, available personnel potential (personnel potential of the employed and the unemployed), as well as latent personnel potential.
