Constructions in Dong inhabit houses respond to the cosmopolitan ecological thought “Man and nature live in harmony” with landscape of simplicity, nature and unity of heaven and humanity. It is not only Chinese nation’s cultural treasure but also a distinguished one in the art of architectural world which forms going through long-term choice and elimination of nature and human society and includes many reasonable ecological construction experience. This paper summarizes its ecological construction experience by researching traditional houses of Dong inhabit villages in Sanjiang, Guangxi to provide guidance for local architectural creation and sustainable development of villages.

Companies’ ability to learn from projects is a source of competitive advantage in project-based industries. Learning from experiences in international markets is particularly important for global contractors so that the right bidding strategy can be developed, effective project governance systems can be established, and similar mistakes are not repeated. In this study, we assert that countries can be clustered according to their similarity so that experiences gained in these markets can be transferred and adapted to forthcoming projects. Thus, similarity factors to be used for clustering of countries can be identified, and a methodology can be developed to store, retrieve and reuse country-related information in international construction projects. In this paper, we report the factors identified for similarity assessment of countries to be used to facilitate learning from projects. As a result of literature review, interviews with experts and an online questionnaire administered to company professionals who have international construction experience, 12 factors have been identified for clustering of countries. As a result of ranking analysis; factors of “development level of and culture in the construction industry”, “political condition of the country” and “financial condition of the country” are obtained as the most important factors. The identified factors will be explained and how the clustering of countries can help companies to extract valuable information from previous experiences will be discussed.

This article describes the epistemology of mathematical scholarship, the constructivism view of mathematics and how mathematical learning can achieve the goals of which one is by studying discovery with a philosophical approach that emphasizes its implications on the learning of mathematics. The world of educational research, especially mathematics has shown a shift, which is more emphasize the teaching and learning process and research methods that apply the concept that, in learning someone to construct his knowledge. Humans construct their knowledge through interaction with objects, phenomena, experiences, and the environment. A knowledge is assumed to be true if it can be useful to confront and solve appropriate problems or phenomena. On constructivism view, knowledge can not be transferred from one person to another, but must be interpreted by one person individually. Knowledge is not something that is finished, but a process that develops continuously. In the process that the activity of someone who wants to know, very instrumental in the development of knowledge. Some factors such as limited previous construction experience, and a person's cognitive structure may limit the establishment of the person's personality. Conversely, conflict situations or anomalies that make people forced to think more deeply and situations that require people to defend themselves and explain in more detail, will develop one's knowledge. Constructivism is divided into three levels: radical, hypothetical realism, and the usual. This difference is based on the relationship between knowledge and existing reality.

While the tunnel crossing the ancient Great Wall, we must take effective measures to control ground deformation, prevent ground deformation is too large, destroying the heritage. In order to study the effects of tunnel excavation types on strata deformation, a three-dimensional computational model is built to simulate surface settlement and horizontal displacement by three different excavation types which are both-side heading method, CRD method, and hole pile method. Following comparative analysis, in line with the realistic program is recommended. The results show that both-side heading method can better control the surface deformation, and has a high efficiency of construction, which was selected as the construction scheme of tunnel crossing the ancient great wall. The results of this study are expected to provide construction experience to the works of a similar background.

When constructing pipelines in Russia, Europe, and Africa, it is the most common to use pipes with threelayer polyethylene coatings. At the same time, the oil and gas pipeline construction experience in the USA, Canada, and a number of other countries, as well as the construction of the Zapolyarye - Purpe elevated main pipeline by Transneft PJSC, indicates the possibility of using epoxy coatings as an effective pipe corrosion protection solution. In respect thereof, research study to determine the feasibility of using two-layer epoxy coatings for corrosion protection of underground pipelines operated by the Transneft system entities was instituted. The purpose of this study is to assess the technical and economic feasibility of using epoxy coatings as an alternative to polyethylene insulation of pipelines. Laboratory studies of samples of three epoxy coating systems, as well as a comparative analysis of the process properties of epoxy and polyethylene insulation were conducted. It has been established that epoxy coatings are superior to polyethylene coatings in a number of properties, in particular, they are characterized by increased resistance to temperature effects, UV radiation, cathodic disbondment, as well as increased mechanical strength, which makes it possible to ensure safety of the coating during the construction of pipelines by directional drilling and laying in rocky soils. The main production facilities for raw materials for epoxy powder coatings are localized in Russia, while raw materials for polyethylene coatings are mainly produced abroad. The economic feasibility of using a twolayer epoxy coating as an alternative to a three-layer polyethylene coating for pipelines of large diameters (over 720 mm (28 in)) was established. Testing for the introduction of pipes with a two-layer epoxy coating at the Transneft PJSC facilities is being performed, including construction of an experimental pipeline section.
