Using the principles and methods of eco-economics as the research object, Aral City comprehensively expounds the ecological service functions such as ecosystem regulation of climate, carbon sequestration, soil conservation, water conservation and purification environment, and evaluates its economic value.The total value of the estimated 2021 is 1303.65 million yuan. At the same time, the importance of ecological service functions of urban ecosystems, from large to small, is to sequester carbon and release oxygen, purify the environment, maintain soil, conserd water sources, regulate the climate. The ecosystem service function which needs to be paid attention to in the concept of ecological construction and restoration of the next stage of ecological construction in Aral City.

With global warming, the frequency of drought in China is gradually increasing. The study of drought characteristics and its impact on crop yield is of great significance to ecological construction and food security. Based on the SPEI index in Xinjiang from 1961 to 2020, the changing characteristics of drought and their responses to meteorological yield of three kinds of crops (cotton, wheat and corn) were analyzed. The results revealed that the SPEI in Xinjiang exhibited a decreasing trend. Drought occurred less during 1961–1996 and mainly occurred during 1997–2020. The annual variation trend of SPEI decreased regionally, and the arid trend increased from northwest to southeast. The seasonal variation in SPEI displayed an increasing trend only in winter, but a decreasing trend in spring, summer and autumn. The decreasing trend of the SPEI index in spring accounted for 90.91%, mainly distributed in the central and eastern part of Xinjiang; the decreasing trend in summer accounted for 81.82%, mainly located in the eastern part of Xinjiang; the decreasing trend in autumn accounted for 84.85%, mainly located in the south and central and eastern part of Xinjiang; the decreasing trend in winter accounted for only 33.33%, mainly located in the southwest, central and eastern part of Xinjiang; the per unit area yield of the three kinds of crops showed a significant increasing trend (p < 0.01). The meteorological yield of cotton showed an increasing trend, while that of wheat and corn showed a decreasing trend. Correlation analysis of climatic yield and SPEI, and regression analysis of standardized climatic yield residuals and SPEI in different seasons revealed that drought in spring and autumn had the greatest effect on the meteorological yield of cotton, while drought in spring and summer had the greatest effect on the meteorological yield of wheat and corn.

Abstract Nowadays, the quantitative assessment of the ecological assets assessment was a hot topic and focus in the field of ecology and environmental economics. Quantitative evaluation of ecological assets can monetize the value of ecological assets, strengthen local ecological environment protection, and promote the service functions of regional ecosystems. Taking urban area as research area can clarify the value of local ecological protection and provide a scientific basis for the positioning of the functions and the construction of ecological civilization. The results showed that the value of ecological assets in Kunming was 249.858 billion yuan and 305.180 billion yuan in 2010 and 2020, respectively. Grassland made the largest contribution to ecological assets and was an important part of the composition of ecological assets, and the value of soil and water conservation occupied a large proportion in Kunming's ecological assets. The value of ecological assets in Kunming was growing in general, but a few ecological services have declined in value, so it was necessary to increase the ecological construction and strengthen the supervision and management of ecological assets.

The ecological tendencies of forming of architecture of interiors of modern eco-air terminals for determination of leading principles of design and methods of forming of eco-interiors of this type of structures are elucidated.  It is determined that ecological construction, eco-modernization and eco-reconstruction are important components of the success of modern airports.  The modern eco-terminal is transformed into a sophisticated architectural object that reduces the environmental footprint.  It is determined that the modern ecological environment of airport interiors is created with the help of non-standard planning solutions, organic bionic forms and eco materials.  This environment is developed taking into account innovative technologies based on the synthesis of elements that determine its character: the basic design (its environmental characteristics), the symbolism of the form, the quality of natural light, the harmonious use of color and decoration, as well as natural materials, objects of phyto- and aqua-design, as living material that benefits the health of passengers, creating a comfortable microclimate and a good combination with nature.

Abstract The article deals with the ecological impacts during a detached house construction and looks for the optimal way of its financing. The aim of the article is to evaluate how much the house construction costs would increase in the case of the use of materials, which production generates smaller volume of negative emissions. The issue of the environment in relation to ecological construction has been widely discussed in recent years. The construction industry burdens the environment already by the production of building materials, extraction of raw materials, energy consumption, through designing activities and construction itself, to the phase of the building use and its eventual liquidation. There are six basic requirements for building materials used in construction, which are required for the quality environmentally friendly construction: the statics and stability of buildings must be provided, noise protection, fire safety, hygienic safety and reduced environmental impact must be met, buildings must provide safe use and well-being, and last but not least energy efficiency. Already in the structure construction phase, it is necessary to consider the appropriate selection of building materials, for which it is necessary to take into account ecological criteria. Appropriate selection of building materials results in a positive effect on the environment. When optimizing the total cost of building a detached house from an ecological point of view, the procedure consists in replacing the most cost-effective items in the construction budget by alternative materials with regard to ecology. When choosing alternative materials, maintaining the standard of the brick building and the aesthetic character of the house are taken into account. When comparing the budgets of both variants, it was found out that a detached house built using alternative, more environmentally friendly materials, resulted more expensive. However, the price difference is slight. Own housing can be financed in several ways. One option is to use your resources. However, this method is currently unrealistic for most people, and therefore they often choose the option of combining their resources with external sources. The most commonly used products for housing financing are building savings loans and mortgage loans. Another possibility is to use subsidy programmes for housing to finance the house, which are often focused on supporting ecological construction and housing.

Due to the attention given to air pollution, the impact of foreign direct investment (FDI) on air quality has led to many discussions on this topic; however, there is a lack of literature discussing the correlation between FDI and air quality from a spatial perspective. In China, the discontinuity of ground monitoring data further limits research in this area. Using a new air pollution dataset, this paper constructs a dynamic panel of 259 prefecture-level Chinese cities over the period 2013–2018 and reveals that FDI on average induces the pollution halo effect in host cities but shows direct correlation with air pollution in the outer conurbation areas. Further examination supports the main findings by showing that FDI presents the same correlation with coal consumption and thermal power generation of the local and the outer conurbation areas. The heterogeneity analysis finds that the industrialization stage, ecological construction, and technology development are important moderators for FDI’s pollution effect. The findings of this paper generate potential policy implications for regional green development regarding FDI.
