In this chapter, we will examine requirements determination and analysis that may be useful for defining the nonfunctional and domain requirements for an IDCM solution, including system sizing, architecture, and performance requirements. We also include a discussion on domain requirements, such as those for information technology and system administration. Our objectives are to do the following: • Document the requirements for system sizing and mass storage. • Consider the types of requirements analysis that enterprises apply to help suppliers of IDCM solutions offer an architecture solution that may meet enterprise requirements. • Define system performance requirements with known caveats and assumptions. • Define the requirements for the IDCM system to integrate with enterprise desktop, server, and network operating environments. • Define the requirements for the system development environment. • Document the system administration requirements for the system.

Abstract An operator was developing a High-Pressure High-Temperature (HPHT) field in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico (GOM). Completion design for the injector wells was cased-and-perforated, with no mechanical sand control. This led to the requirement for a tubing-conveyed perforating (TCP) system, featuring deep-penetrating (DP) charges which would meet specific performance requirements, in order to enable the wells to achieve injectivity targets. A perforating system was therefore developed and qualified to meet these requirements. This was an integrated system development, including both mechanical and explosive components, with simultaneous attention to performance, reliability, and quality assurance in the eventual field environment. The development program yielded a 4-3/4-inch carrier system, perforating charges, firing head, and gun hanger. All key components and systems were qualified in customer-witnessed testing, and demonstrated to meet or exceed operational function and performance requirements. The pressure and temperature rating of the newly-developed system is 30,000 psi at 425 °F. Explosive train function reliability was demonstrated at 380 °F for up to 28 days. The newly-developed perforating shaped charge was confirmed to exceed the stringent penetration depth and casing hole diameter performance requirements at downhole conditions. The firing head offers operational flexibility by being configurable for up to 15 pressure cycles prior to detonation, with an adjustable initiation threshold pressure to reduce risk to the completion string. The gun hanger was customized and demonstrated to exceed load requirements, and reliably set and release, in a test configuration featuring operator-provided field casing.

This paper describes a recently completed survey conducted to determine the transportation community's perspective on Advanced Traveler Information System (ATIS) and Commercial Vehicle Operations (CVO) system development objectives and performance requirements. The paper describes the research methods, some general findings regarding development objectives, and a general discussion and examples of performance requirements.

<p><br />The huge development of internet technologies and the widespread of modern and advanced devices lead to an increase in the size and diversity of e-commerce system development. These developments lead to an increase in the number of people that navigate these sites asking for their services and products. Which leads to increased competition in this field. Moreover, the expansion in the size of currency traded makes transaction protection an essential issue in this field. Providing security for each online client especially for a huge number of clients at the same time, causing an overload on the system server. This problem may lead to server deadlock, especially at rush time, which reduce system performance. To solve security and performance problems, this research suggests a prototype design for agent software. This agent will play the role of broker between the clients and the electronic marketplace. This is done by providing security inside the client device and converting the client’s order into a special form which is called a record form to be sent to the commercial website. Experimental results showed that this method increase system performance in terms of page loading time, transaction processing and improves the utilization of system resources.</p>

Complexity, heterogeneity, interdependency and, especially, evolution of system/services specifications, related operating environments and user needs, are more and more highly relevant characteristics of modern and future software applications. Taking advantage of the experience gained in the context of the European project Connect, which addresses the challenging and ambitious topic of eternally functioning distributed and heterogeneous systems, this paper presents a framework to analyse and assess dependability and performance properties in dynamic and evolving contexts. The goal is to develop an adaptive approach by coupling stochastic model-based analysis, performed at design time to support the definition and implementation of software products complying with their stated dependability and performance requirements, with run-time monitoring to re-calibrate and enhance the dependability and performance prediction along evolution. The proposed framework for adaptive assessment is described and illustrated through a case study. To simplify the description while making more concrete the approach under study, the authors adopted the setting and terminology of the Connect project.

Advances in information technology and communications which we achieve now actually been recognized and felt in the world of education in general. Currently College Prog implement a Tridharma terms Tridharma iDuHelp!. Tridharma is one of the basic responsibilities that students must be developed simultaneously and together. In this Tridharma still there are problems in the system iDuHelp! service. So IRAN (iLearning Prog Ask and News) in collaboration with iDuHelp! in providing answers and information needed by the student. In its application in Tridharma iDuHelp! IRAN There is a related method in it, such as iLearning methods that are currently being developed. With iLearning method can facilitate conduct research in detail, accurately, and clearly by using mindmapping. Besides the method of analysis is also done with three stages  namely the identification of the problem, identifying needs, and identifying system requirements. In this study using 4 literature reviews that can be used as references in preparing this paper. In this article explained about the problems that arise and solving problems in accurately using the flow Flowchart. In the implementation of the prototype shown iDuHelp! As well as the performance of Iran. So the end result of the study is a system performance to information and communication media of Iran can maximize iDuHelp! care system  It is widely integrated in a university.

West Nusa Tenggara ’NTB’ is a region of the golden triangle stripe of tourism destination located between Komodo island and Tana Toraja. As the industry backing for small and middle scale businesses getting grow up and have got governmental supporting since economical crises hit Indonesia at the end 1997. In fact, many of those who have not yet optimize the information technology (IT) in running their business. The approach to meet the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with the proper customer or to find the proper raw material seller is through the media.  Development of internet technology is so rapid, it is a necessity of SMEs using it as a business communications medium, because Internet utility for e-commerce complement has long been developed in both national and international scope.  Furthermore, the research elaborates the integrated e-commerce model and SMEs as an information technology-based model of integrated marketing strategy besides, software creation and its implementation on SMEs in Mataram municipality.  E-commerce and SMEs were designed to use System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concerning the safety sistem, flowcart diagram and data base design aspects.
