The overall aim of the study is to trace the interaction between the composition of the media repertoire and the everyday world of adolescents, also looking at privacy management in the course of acquiring digital communication media as part of the media repertoire. In order to do justice to this complexity, young people were not considered as a uniform demographic group, but were divided into three stages. Through this differentiation, a recursive process is to be worked out that makes it possible to also include contextual influencing factors such as peer group, family environment etc. and to expand previous findings on the media repertoire of young people. As a result of this approach, a multi-stage development process was elaborated as well as the privacy management of digital communication media of young people.

The usage of social media growing rapidly, especially after the smartphone was invented. Because the number of social media users was quite a lot, companies prefer to promote their products through social media like Instagram. But, unlike TV or radio, social media is a two-way communication media, that makes users can respond directly to the content created by the company. Comments given by users have various types of sentiment, like positive or negative comments. In addition to using text, comments also often contain emoticons to support the message. This study tries to analyzing sentiment based on the usage of emoticons inside them using the Naïve Bayes algorithm. Based on the test results, the accuracy result is quite good, it is about 96.3% correct in sentiment classification.

This study aims to determine the adoption of farmers and the factors that influence the adoption of farmers in the use of superior varieties of Malaysian cassava. This study was conducted in Sei Rampah Sub-district, Serdang Bedagai Regency from March to May 2021. This location was chosen because it is a cassava-producing village. Determination of the sample using a random sample, ie all members of the population are assumed to have the same opportunity to be selected as the research sample. The data collection method used is observation, interviews and distributing questionnaires that have been tested for validity and reliability. To determine the level of adoption, a Likert scale model was used and to determine the factors that influence adoption, multiple linear regression analysis models were used. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the adoption rate of farmers in the use of superior varieties of Malaysian cassava in Sei Rampah Sub-district was very, simultaneously the variables of innovation characteristics (X1), communication media (X2), the role of extension workers (X3) and the role of farmer groups (X4) together -equally significant effect on farmer adoption in the use of Malaysia cassava varieties, while partially the factors that significantly influence are the characteristics of innovation (X1), communication media (X2) and the role of farmer groups (X4) while the non-significant influence is the role of extension worker (X3).

Efforts to improve the competency of agricultural extension workers have been carried out through education and training by the Agency for Agricultural Extension and Human Resources Development. Improving the competence of agriculture extension workers through the utilization of communication media has not been used intensively by the government. The purpose of this study is to know the level of influence of communication media utilization on the competence of agricultural extension workers. The study was used a quantitative approach through an online survey of 203 agricultural extension workers at the Assessment Institute for Agricultural Technology from 33 provinces. The results showed that the utilization of communication media and characteristics of individual had a significant effect on the competence of agricultural extension workers. Environmental support factors have a significant effect on the utilization of communication media and have an indirect effect on the competence of agricultural extension workers. The most and significant influence on the competence of agricultural extension comes from the utilization of communication media which is 4.38. Meanwhile, the significant factor affecting the utilization of communication media is only in the form of environmental support of 0.34. Therefore, to improve the competence of agricultural extension workers, utilization of communication media in the dissemination of agricultural information should be increased. Furthermore, to increase the utilization of communication media in the dissemination of agricultural information, the environmental support of extension activities, such as literacy training on the use of variation communication media, should be improved.

Abstract Present day industries worldwide, including oil and gas sector, are going through a transition from the traditional concept of isolated operation to a more cohesive and interconnected digital transformation. The driving forces behind the transformation can be summarized as follows: -A collaborative workplace spanning multiple locations, where the processes can be synchronized through an integrated work management system-Reduced deployment of manpower to remote and hazardous locations through implementation of remote monitoring and control from a central location-Providing intelligent guidance to operation and maintenance through implementation of training, real-time troubleshooting etc.-Informed decision making through historical data, real-time video, lessons learnt etc.-Storage and mobility of data, efficient computing and distributed workload-Machine substitution of human performance (artificial intelligence, drones, robots etc.) From all these drivers, evolves the concept of Internet of Things (IoT). On the field side, the idea of IoT means to deploy web-enabled devices having unique addressable identity. A plethora of such field instruments, devices, machines, processes and people then need to be interconnected over internet through a robust and reliable telecom infrastructure to make such integrated platform happen. Therefore, on the backbone side, this complex mesh of interconnectivity largely depends on the availability of a feasible and practical communication media. Providing a viable communication media becomes more challenging with the constraints of locations involved – their remoteness, difficult terrains, prevalent hazardous atmosphere, to name a few. The objective of this paper is to present one such communication scheme through VSAT, which is easy to deploy, economically viable, scalable with growing demand and based on emerging technology of private satellite communication. For the sake of objectivity, this paper discusses most of the scenarios with an offshore oil and gas field, although the idea can be generalized to apply on other sectors and industries.

Objective. The objective is to examine the scope of health communication media campaign process evaluation methods, findings, and dissemination practices. Data Source. A systematic review of peer-reviewed literature was conducted using database searches. Study Inclusion and Exclusion Criteria. Published studies on process and implementation evaluation of health campaigns with a media component were included. Exclusion criteria included not health, non-empirical, no media campaign, or a focus on other evaluation types. Data Extraction. Articles were assessed for general campaign information, theory use, and details about process evaluation plan and procedures. Data Synthesis. A coding scheme based on 9 process evaluation best practice elements (e.g., fidelity and context) was applied. Process evaluation methods, measures, and reporting themes were synthesized. Results. Among 691 unique records, 46 articles were included. Process evaluation was the main focus for 71.7% of articles, yet only 39.1% reported how process evaluation informed campaign implementation strategy. Articles reported 4.39 elements on average ( SD = 1.99; range 1–9), with reach (87.0%) and recruitment (73.9%) described most frequently, yet reporting was inconsistent. Further, the level of detail in reporting methods, theory, and analysis varied. Conclusions. Process evaluation provides insight about mechanisms and intervening variables that could meaningfully impact interpretations of outcome evaluations; however, process evaluations are less often included in literature. Recommendations for evidence-based process evaluation components to guide evaluation are discussed.
