The study describes an approach to e-learning based on the Moodle platform that is used to visualize participation in the learning community and is proposed to be used to inform students and teachers about their involvement in the social learn-ing environment. The experiment involved 5 teachers and 3 experts who deter-mined the most significant visualization indicators for the virtual learning envi-ronment dashboards. There were 42 students aged 21 to 23. The virtual learning environment is based on the Moodle and Blackboard platforms that are common-ly used in universities. SocialWall allowed participants to perform actions in the social environment that are visualized in graphs under the specified criteria. A Wiki repository plugin was also added in order to accumulate student knowledge in shared structured documents stored in a shared repository. The relational data-base management system MySQL allows creation of additional relations, data-base design and administration. The visualization activities described in the study are based on modified state transition networks to analyze and visualize the stu-dent learning path. Student trajectory networks show the interaction of individual learners or groups with the course structure and material.


The pragmatic Information retrieval technique is providing the responses to the users’ query depending on their choice. The clients are struggling hard to comprehend the semantic within the reports. The data recovery within common language content isn't organized and could be semantically equivocal. The unstructured data may contain non-key attributes. The joint operation takes place between the primary key and foreign key of different tables. The foreign key of one table must be the primary key of another table is the most common in a database and heavily optimized. Join is used to connect rows in another table (or even in the same table) based on the arbitrary condition for structured data but what it for unstructured data to retrieve an information? Information containing an unstructured data and Non-key attributes needs the establishment of relation between Non-key attributes as well as Non-key joins. This paper proposes a data base design to retrieve information with Non-key attributes and representing the knowledge with decision tree. From the decision tree the semiotic is extracted i.e. path from root node to leaf node.

Pharmaceutical companies which produce drugs to provide goods for pharmacies and hospitals are very important to record the availability of drugs that are still feasible and drugs that have expired. So that the drug supply can be maintained and can be distributed with the needs of the drug properly. Abstract. The effects of oil spills in the Niger Delta has caused unending menace to the quality of drinking water in most wells and boreholes of the area as most of the wells are shallow and are susceptible to contamination due to the nature of its Geology. The aim of this paper is to develop a database on how oil spills affects water quality which is one of the most crucial resources in the Niger Delta. The study uses existing oil spills data to show the areas and extent of oil pollution in the Niger Delta. Geospatial analysis was used to design an oil spill data base comprising the logical, physical, and conceptual data base design. Visio was used for the design of the entity relationship (ER) diagram of the study. The Kernel density and Getis-Ord G* statistic were used in GIS to map the oil spill areas in the region. Results of spatial spill distribution from the Kernel density and Getis-Ord G* statistic revealed that three states of the Niger Delta namely, Bayelsa, Rivers, and Delta states are the hottest spots for oil spill occurrences and distribution. The ER chart showed the relationships between the pollution sources, their pathways, and the receptors. The ER diagram developed could be of significance to environmentalists and other stakeholders in understanding the processes through which contaminants get to the various compartments of the earth system.

Objectives: The objective of this study is to: describe the pattern of disease inpatients with polycystic ovarian syndrome. Data Source: Medline Data Base. Design Of Study:Descriptive case series study. Settings: Gynaecological Outpatient Department of Ghurki trustteaching hospital Lahore. Duration: 6months period, from 8th October 2012 to 7th April 2013.Materials & Methods: Sixty cases of polycystic ovarian syndrome as diagnosed on ultrasoundwere selected. These cases were examined for height, weight, body mass index, hirsutism, acne,acnthosis nigricans, breast examination (galactorrhoea). These cases were investigated forblood sugar (random), Fasting Insulin, pelvic ultrasound, LH, FSH and serum prolactin. Results:The mean age of the patients were 24.93±5.67 years. There were 28 (47%) patients of menstrualdisturbance, 18 (30%) patients of subfertility, 9 (13%) of obesity. There were 13 (21.7%) patients2of BMI level of equal to or less than 25 kg/m and 47 (78.3%) patients of BMI level more than 252kg/m . There were 25 (41.7%) patients of hirsuitim, 14 (23.3%) patients of acne and 17 (28.3%)patients of acanthoris nigricans on physical examination. There were 28 (46.7%) patients of LHlevel of more than 10 IU/L (raised) and 1 (1.7%) patient of more than 350 mU/L prolactin (raised).The mean right ovary volume of the patients was 12.08±3.04 and mean left ovarian volume of thepatients was 11.86±4.83. Conclusions: Hirsutism and cycle disturbances are the major clinicalfeatures of polycystic ovarian syndrome patients. Obesity seems to be more prevalent inpolycystic ovarian syndrome patients. The ratio between LH and FSH as a diagnostic tool waslow in our patients.

West Nusa Tenggara ’NTB’ is a region of the golden triangle stripe of tourism destination located between Komodo island and Tana Toraja. As the industry backing for small and middle scale businesses getting grow up and have got governmental supporting since economical crises hit Indonesia at the end 1997. In fact, many of those who have not yet optimize the information technology (IT) in running their business. The approach to meet the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) with the proper customer or to find the proper raw material seller is through the media.  Development of internet technology is so rapid, it is a necessity of SMEs using it as a business communications medium, because Internet utility for e-commerce complement has long been developed in both national and international scope.  Furthermore, the research elaborates the integrated e-commerce model and SMEs as an information technology-based model of integrated marketing strategy besides, software creation and its implementation on SMEs in Mataram municipality.  E-commerce and SMEs were designed to use System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concerning the safety sistem, flowcart diagram and data base design aspects.

According to the automobile industry cluster situation at present, the paper introduces the method and train of thought of automobile industry cluster based on GIS from demand analysis, data base design, function design and so on. Also demonstration analysis in one automobile industry cluster. In construction, use client layer, web layer, business logic layer and data layer to design the system architecture. It improved the system maintenance performance, used Oracle and ArcSDE to access space data and attribute data, and mass data storage management. Research results maybe give some significance reference for design and implementation of automobile industry cluster.

Ketepatan admisi merupakan salah satu indikator kualitas pelayanan medis yang sesuai dengan standar. Appropriateness Evaluation Protocol (AEP) merupakan protokol yang digunakan untuk menilai ketepatan admisi pasien rawat inap. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah merancang sistem informasi admisipasien rawat inap untuk membantu pengambilan keputusan klinis dan administrasi dalam admisi pasien rawat inap di Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah dr. H. Soewondo Kabupaten Kendal. Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua tahap. Tahap pertama, penelitian kualitatif untuk perancangan sistem informasidengan menerapkan Framework for Application of System Technique (FAST). Tahap kedua, penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design yaitu uji coba sistem informasi admisi dengan membandingkan indikator-indikator akseptabilitas, aksesibilitas, sensitivitas, kerepresentativan, dan ketepatan waktu. Hasil penelitian ini berupa rancangan Sistem Informasi Admisi (SIA) pasien rawat inap meliputi masukan, keluaran, basis data, dan antarmuka yang dilanjutkan dengan membangun sistem sehingga dihasilkan SIA berbasis AEP. Hasil uji coba menunjukkandukungan responden terhadap sistem lama dan sistem baru dari aspek akseptabilitas (RRT 2,20 dan 3,18), aksesibilitas (RRT 2,25 dan 3,19), sensitivitas (RRT 2,30 dan 3,10), kerepresentativan (RRT 2,40 dan 3,16), dan ketepatan waktu (RRT 2,13 dan 3,13) dengan perbedaan yang bermakna(p = 0,0001). Diperlukan komitmen manajemen untuk dapat menjalankan SIA, evaluasi setiap tahun terhadap kinerja sistem untuk mengantisipasi perubahan kebutuhan informasi, dan rancangan input data yang cepat dengan teknologi tinggi.Kata kunci: Admisi pasien, sistem informasi admisi, pengambilan keputusanAbstractAppropriateness in admission represent quality of medical services. The result of this research was admission information system design consist of input design, output design, data base design and interface design continuing to build AEP based admission information system. Trial result shows that respondents give their agreement in old and new system for acceptability (2,20 and 3,18), accessibility (2,25 and 3,19), sensitivity (2,30 and 3,10), representativeness (2,40 and 3,13), and punctuality(2,13 and 3,13), and it was statistically significant (p = 0,0001). The management commitment is required to carry on admission information system, annual evaluation of system performance required to anticipate changes of information requirement, and it is required to design input faster using hightechnology instrument.Key words: Patient admission, admission informatics system, decision making

ETL stands for Extraction, Transformation, and Loading: in other words, for the Data Warehouse (DW) backstage. The main focus of our exposition here is the practical application of the ETL process in real world cases with extra problems and strong requirements, particularly performance issues related to population of large Data Warehouse. In a context of ETL/DW with strong requirements, we can individuate the most common constraints and criticalities that one can meet in developing an ETL system. We will describe some techniques related to the physical data base design, pipelining, and parallelism which are crucial for the whole ETL process. We will propose our practical approach “infrastructure based ETL”: it is not a tool but a set of functionalities and/or services that the experience has proved to be useful and enough widespread in the ETL scenario and one can build the application on top of it.

This study made a discussion of the exploitation and application of home textile bedding data-base design. The target is to closely follow the International Textile Fashion trend and to design a lot of world-class home textile bedding products. This article bases on the practicality of the textile bedding design. Database is divided into three modules: style classification database, design theme classification database and the processing technology database. In a comprehensive basis of market research, database is using VB programming language and Access database development tools. Because it has the function of flexible, quickly and accurately find the technical parameters, design styles and product styles and other related information of the processing. There are many descriptions, pictures, process technology and so on of home textiles bedding in the data-base. From the data-base, designers can easily inquiry the color, variety, fashion, style, function, process technology etc. Then, designers can exchange and innovation by using what they inquiry from the database. Through the innovation, home textile enterprises enhance the market competitiveness. It’s conducive to improve the overall development of textile industry by the data-base.
