Purpose The purpose of this paper is to explore the role and function of visuals, visual communication and information design as they relate to management control systems and visual management (VM) in lean-inspired organisations. This paper helps expand knowledge on how visual and design studies can contribute to research on VM as part of a management control system. Design/methodology/approach A study is outlined, which was conducted at a multinational manufacturing company to investigate employees’ perceptions and use of visual devices on the shop floor, including their related reactions and behaviour. The study is delimited to operation management, lean manufacturing and lean boards (i.e. daily management boards and performance measurement boards). Findings The findings point out the persuasive purpose of lean boards, as well as the metaphoric and persuasive functions of the visuals and information design in management control systems. Originality/value Visual research and design research are rare within studies of management control systems. There is a need to perform research that takes into account the role and function of visual communication and information design in VM. The proposed areas for future research can provide design principles, as well as insights into the complexity of visual communication and information design in VM and management control studies.

<p><strong>Abstract</strong><br />Motion Graphic of Papringan Market Promotion at Temanggung, Central Java. Motion graphic is an infographic designed to move like audio-visual media in the form of film, video and animation in computer. Motion graphic promotion for Papringan Market is one of many steps to promote Papringan Market. Papringan Market is a unique tourist  place held under the bamboo plants. Some visual elements of design found in motion<br />graphics can give influence to audience. The visual elements of the design used in motion graphics should be in accordance with their usability and function. So for that researchers will analyze about Motion Graphic Papringan Market promotion to determine whether the visual elements of the design used is appropriate according to its usefulness and<br />function or not. To answer the problem of the research, the researcher uses the research type of qualitative observation method to be able to know, understand, deeply examine, and expose it in writing about all visual elements contained in the motion graphic, from video, film, typography, illustration, photography and music. Untuk menjawab permasalahan dalam penelitian, peneliti menggunakan jenis penelitian metode observasi kualitatif untuk dapat mengetahui, memahami, mengkaji secara mendalam, dan memaparkannya dalam tulisan mengenai semua elemen visual yang terdapat di dalam motion graphic tersebut, mulai dari video, film, tipografi, ilustrasi, fotografi, dan musik. with the rapid development of computer technology, it has become the hot research topic of the current visual communication design that the color, graphics and image information of the visual information can use computer technology to make the pertinence design creation. First of all, this paper analyzes the spatial characteristics of the computer graphics technology. On this basis, the color transformation model is analyzed which is essential in the computer graphics and visual design. In addition, this paper also makes an empirical analysis on the application and function of computer graphics technology in the visual communication design in the form of a case. Finally, it is obtained that computer image technology not only has a significant importance in the design of visual communication, to some extent, but provides a theoretical basis and technical support for the study in this field.

Increasing screen time in children is a cause of concern which means amount of time that spend by using a device with screen such as a smart phone, video games, computers, television. The concept is under significant research with related belief in digital media use and mental health. With fast technological evolution, the prevalence and unacceptable effects of excess screen time on kids have become a mounting issue worldwide. Children are more affected with this huge problem because too much screen time can make it hard for children to sleep at night, have attention problems, anxiety, and depression also, so it is a concern. Excessive exposure to screen cause myopia or squint, because lack of outdoor activity and excess screen time results myopia in children. Todays diet or physical activity of childrens are affected by sedentary screen time, Because children sit for long hours and eat unhealthy food while playing video games, watching television, which cause long or short term health issues, special obesity, and heart disease. This impair brain structure and function, it can cause nausea, vomiting, irritability, mood swings. So, now this paper will discusses about its physical, mental, social, and environmental effects in children.

The present knowledge of the three-dimensional structure of ribosomes is far too limited to enable a complete understanding of the various roles which ribosomes play in protein biosynthesis. The spatial arrangement of proteins and ribonuclec acids in ribosomes can be analysed in many ways. Determination of binding sites for individual proteins on ribonuclec acid and locations of the mutual positions of proteins on the ribosome using labeling with fluorescent dyes, cross-linking reagents, neutron-diffraction or antibodies against ribosomal proteins seem to be most successful approaches. Structure and function of ribosomes can be correlated be depleting the complete ribosomes of some proteins to the functionally inactive core and by subsequent partial reconstitution in order to regain active ribosomal particles.

Introduction: Oxidized cholesterol derivatives have been demonstrated in various cell cultures to be very potent inhibitors of 3-hvdroxy-3- methylglutaryl Coenzyme A reductase which is a principle regulator of cholesterol biosynthesis in the cell. The cholesterol content in the cells exposed to oxidized cholesterol was found to be markedly decreased. In aortic smooth muscle cells, the potency of this effect was closely related to the cytotoxicity of each derivative. Furthermore, due to the similarity of their molecular structure to that of cholesterol, these oxidized cholesterol derivatives might insert themselves into the cell membrane, alter membrane structure and function and eventually cause cell death. Arterial injury has been shown to be the initial event of atherosclerosis.
