This chapter is about relationship building in relief supply chains. Its primary purpose is to present and discuss the author’s actor-based typology of humanitarian relationships. The framework includes relationships among NGOs, as well as between NGOs and UN agencies, military units, and business firms. Examples are used to explore unique issues in the various types of relationships. One particular NGO, Airline Ambassadors International, is offered as an example of an NGO that builds relationships with a wide variety of humanitarian actors. The chapter also examines compatibility and complementarity of organizations across the three phases of humanitarian work: preparation, response, and recovery or development. Research opportunities are discussed in the concluding comments.

The purpose of the research is to produce media-based math learning macromedia flash on the subject of the triangle in the junior class VII valid and practical for her then experimented to see the potential effects of media-based learning macromedia flash triangle subject to students' understanding of concepts. The method used is the development of research that consists of three phases: analysis, design, and evaluation. Obtained from testing the potential effects of instructional media using macromedia flash to the understanding of the concept of students is 78 in both categories. It can be concluded that the macromedia flash media-based learning subject that researchers develop effective triangle used in the learning of mathematics.   Tujuan penelitian adalah menghasilkan media pembelajaran matematika berbasis macromedia flash pada pokok bahasan segitiga di kelas VII SMP yang valid dan praktis untuk kemudian mengujicobakannya guna melihat efek potensial media pembelajaran berbasis macromedia flash pokok bahasan segitiga terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah development research yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu analisis, desain, dan evaluasi. Dari ujicoba diperoleh potensial efek media pembelajaran menggunakan macromedia flash terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa yaitu 78 dalam kategori baik. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbasis macromedia flash pokok bahasan segitiga yang peneliti kembangkan efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran matematika.

In 1998, the Council of Logistics Management modified its definition of logistics to indicate that logistics is a subset of supply chain management and that the two terms are not synonymous. Now that this difference has been recognized by the premier logistics professional organization, the challenge is to determine how to successfully implement supply chain management. This paper concentrates on operationalizing the supply chain management framework suggested in a 1997 article. Case studies conducted at several companies and involving multiple members of supply chains are used to illustrate the concepts described.

Despite differences between Korea and Germany, German unification provides valuable lessons for Korean unification. Maintaining a dialogue channel between the two Koreas is critical for keeping peace and promoting reconciliation. It is also imperative that South Korean humanitarian work resume in the North. With humanitarian projects, South Korean NGOs can increase contact with ordinary North Korean people. “Change through contact” is a crucial method of demonstrating love for those in North Korea, promoting relationship-building and trust that may facilitate in creating a foundation for rebuilding North Korea and ultimately reuniting the Korean people.

Summary At the beginning of the 21st century, we continuously observe shifts in supply chains configurations caused by differentiate trends in turbulent environment. The remarkable number of companies restructure supply chains in search for competitiveness and innovation on global market. On the one hand, some labour-intensive industries are moving out of China to the next low-cost countries, on the other hand, some high-tech and innovative manufacturing companies are returning to the developed countries. The scientific purpose of the article is to set out the potential impact of reshoring on value creation in supply chains and to outline research opportunities in this field. Literature review and results of the questionnaire-survey on the Total Cost of Acquisition analysis are guidelines for considerations. Based on the analysis of reshoring drivers and benefits, it is clear that this strategy might have positive influence on the value creation in international and global supply chains management considering three dimensions of the value: economic, social and environmental from perspective of different stakeholders.
