Project-based learning (PBL) and Blended Learning (BL) have been widely used in universities. There are some empirical teaching researches on PBL in the BL environment for some specific courses, but for the combination of PBL and BL, there is as yet no universal teaching model. This article puts forward a new universal teaching mode: Project-Based Blended Learning (PBBL) and describes a teaching experiment in applying PBBL. Firstly, the design idea of PBBL is discussed. Secondly, taking a course on Single Chip Microcomputers (SCM) as an example, the strategies of selecting, designing and controlling the core teaching elements are given, and the complete implementation plan and concrete methods are described. The teaching case shows that the PBBL gives full play to the advantages of BL and PBL, and can effectively improve students' abilities of self-learning, practical application and innovation.

The critical thinking ability is an indispensable ability of contemporary college students, and the PBL teaching mode abandons the shortcomings of traditional teaching methods, which is more suitable for the development trend of university curriculum teaching reform in China. In order to understand the influence of PBL teaching mode on college students’ critical thinking ability, the research is carried out into English critical thinking dispositions and skills of the second grade English education majors in Jiangxi Province, via questionnaire, interview, English test and PBL teaching experiment. And the results indicate that the PBL teaching model can improve the three English critical thinking temperament level of analysis, open and fair, and it can significantly improve the two English critical thinking skills of analysis and interpretation, but did not improve the English scores of the students significantly. The purpose of this study is to enrich the research on the influence of PBL teaching model and English critical thinking ability, and so as to provide some reference for improving the quality of English teaching in colleges and universities.

Based on the analysis of the problems existing in the traditional teaching model of the Russian grammar course, this paper takes the Russian major of the college as the pilot, advocates the teaching concept of "student-centered and teacher-led", and proposes a "Three-dimensional Integration" teaching mode to stimulate students' enthusiasm and interest in learning Russian grammar, and cultivate students' self-learning ability under the network environment to improve classroom teaching effect and teaching quality.

PBL model is not only refers to problem-based learning but also refers to project-based learning. In this mode, teacher is an active guider and the students are self-learning teaching in groups around the problems. The specialized fundamental curriculum, Building Architecture, is practiced as an example. This article extracts three Projects and forty Problems. The theory teaching and course design are taken a comprehensive view of the situation as a whole. This curriculum reform practice has proved that PBL mode can raise students' the ability to analyze and solve problems, and it is an important way to carry out the Excellent Plan in the course teaching.

The emergence of multimedia has created a new teaching vitality for the development of English teaching, and at the same time stimulated students’ interest in learning and made the whole classroom more diverse and interesting. It is a new way for people to use modern technology to assist teaching. This article proposes CD-ROM self-learning and face-to-face teaching to guide and inspire multimedia teaching. Studying the type, construction and function of interactive English teaching mode in multimedia environment is of great significance to the reform of English teaching in colleges and universities. Therefore, it is necessary for teachers engaged in open English teaching to explore suitable combination of human-machine and English-based teaching modes based on network multimedia independent learning and face-to-face teaching. The novelty of this article is based on the experience of full-time colleges and universities, and considering the particularity of college English teaching, a teaching model based on open English multimedia CD-ROM and face-to-face teaching was constructed. Based on language input theory, this research fully considers the central role of students, uses a set of multimedia CD-ROM autonomous learning system while teaching face-to-face, integrates tests and questionnaires, carries out a year-long teaching experiment. The experimental results show that it is an effective open English teaching model.

In general, over 70% of students can adapt to this blended learning model after experiencing the blended learning model for some time, which can satisfy the in-dividual differences of students in a better way, attain some assistance from it and help to improve learning performance and learning ability. It can be discovered from this research that the blended learning model is superior to the single and traditional teaching mode or the pure network teaching mode in the aspects of in-spiring the learning interest of students, exercising self-management capability of students and self-evaluation ability. It can be seen from the specific situation of investigation data that it is feasible to implement the blended learning model in colleges and universities even though the overall level of students’ ability in the blended learning is low. As this is a preliminary investigation into the blended learning model, specific solutions or strategies have not been provided for some problems. However, it is believed to achieve greater effects if the research is con-tinued on the practice.

Purpose: to explore and discuss the effects of PAD Class Teaching Model on nursing students who are expected to enter undergraduate schools from junior colleges. Method: Randomly select 112 students from two classes (2016) who are expected to enter undergraduate schools from junior colleges in a medical school in Pingdingshan, and divide them into a control group and an experimental group using a method of cluster randomization. In the teaching process of “Nursing Psychology”, the control group and the experimental group respectively adopted the traditional teaching mode and the PAD class teaching mode. After the implementation of one semester, compare the nursing students’ learning attitudes change before and after the implementation. Results: The scores of the nursing students in the experimental group at the three latitudes of learning interests, learning habits, and professional cognition were significantly higher than those of the control group, and the differences have statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusions: PAD class teaching mode helps improve nursing students’ learning attitudes.

The background of this research was the demands of the industrial revolution 4.0 era. Hence, the students should have high-oder thinking skills and lecturers must be able to create learning that was able to achieve these demands. This study examined the effect of Blended Learning and Project Based Learning in improving the students’ Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). This research was an experimental research with a quasi-experiment design type. The sample of this research was 90 students from Primary School Teacher Education Department at State University of Padang. This research proven that the obtained t count = 4.374 with df = 392.24 and sig (1 way) = 0.000 where sig (1 way) <0.05. It concluded that there was an improving of students’ HOTS ability that learned using Blended Learning and Project Based Learning rather than of using Blended Learning only. This research of using Blende-Learning and Project Based learning could improve on students' higher-order thinking skills. This research implied using Blended Learning and Project Based learning model was an alternative to improve Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS). Keywords:  Blended Learning, Higher Order Thinking Skill (HOTS), Project Based Learning.
