Take a kind of 3-TPT parallel robot as an example, the model of flexible multibody of parallel machine tool is built by using multibody dynamics simulation software ADAMS and finite element analysis software ANSYS. And dynamics equation of flexible body in spatial is also set up, after that the dynamics simulation is carried out. Then the simulation results of rigid bodies are compared with flexible ones, and the results show that the forces applied on flexible bodies appear high nonlinear, so the simulation results of flexible multibody system are more authentic, nicety and can reflect actual dynamics characteristic of parallel robot.

Established the dynamics simulation analysis model of crane hoisting mechanism based on the theory of dynamics in Adams software, and then through the three dimensional model of lifting mechanism dynamics entities, the constraints, load, drive can be added, the motion law can be defined to simulation analysis the change of the force of wire rope, the change of displacement, velocity and acceleration of lifting weight in the lifting process. On the basis of the simulation results, it can make a great improvement for the structure of crane and provide a meaningful theoretical reference for the hoisting machinery innovation design.

With the development of electromagnetic simulation software and affordable hardware, it is allowed for us to complete simulations for EMC purposes. However, simulation demands will be immense when simulations for models with complex structures, especially aircraft components, have to be solved. Hence, it is meaningful to investigate how to minimize the computational demands. One of the solutions to reduce the simulation expense is the simplification for the simulated model. But the simplified model should be guaranteed to provide credible simulation results which do not deviate from the original model apparently. Generally, the difference between the simulation results and experimental data is estimated, or if the experimental conditions are not achieved, the comparison between the simplified model and the original one has to be analyzed, at least. This paper explores the electromagnetic simulation of a turbofan engine encountering lightning strike. With the simplifications of different components on the turbofan engine, the influences on induced currents of engine controller cables are simulated and analyzed based on the transmission-line matrix method. A combining method of components removal and geometric structure simplification is proposed to simplify the whole engine model. Simplified components include compressor, combustion chamber, turbine, and nozzle. The effects of different simplification methods are quantified, and the rationality of the simplified model is verified by simulation analysis.

The motion of amplification frame of dumper was simulated by multi-body dynamics simulation software ADAMS, and the danger working conditions of amplification frame were calculated. The stress of amplification frame was simulated and analyzed by Optistruct software. The results show that the stress distribution in amplification frame is not uniform and it is big in the middle and small in the edge zeros. The structure of amplification is optimized according to the simulation results. The utilization ratio of the material increases and the cost of production decreases after structural optimization.

Abstract The aim of this article is to present the concept of wheel-legged mobile manipulator, which is a combination of mobile platform with specially selected suspension system and a manipulator. First, a literature review was performed and own solution proposed. The kinematic structure of manipulator, selected simulation results, physical model and the concept of the control system has been presented. Geometry synthesis was used to design basic dimension. Structural synthesis was performed according to the intermediate chain method. Simulations were performed using the multibody dynamics simulation software. New approach in the field of the mobile manipulators was presented as a result.

Based on theoretical calculation, virtual prototype technology and the method of finite element analysis, the fully mechanized hydraulic support is designed and simulated. Firstly, the four-link mechanism of hydraulic support mechanical model and mathematical model are established, the demission is confirmed by design calculation of structure. Secondly, through the establishment of rigid parameterized virtual prototype model of the system, dynamics simulation analysis and research is finished based on ADAMS on the mechanical properties. Finally, based on FEA, the modal calculation of key components is completed by using ANSYS.

Three-dimensional finite element model of the mine escape capsule is established. With the different values of explosion shock waves, simulation analysis of the entry locker is performed by using ABAQUS. The simulation results indicate that the mine escape capsule is safe and available if the surge pressure of shock waves is less than 3.5Mpa.

The corn threshing process is a complex process of contact interaction between thresher mechanical parts and corn ears. The paper analyzed this process with the discrete element method (DEM). A method was set up to calculate the contact forces between thresher mechanical parts (boundary) and corn ears. The conditions for corn kernels threshing were established as well. On this basis, we developed the corn threshing simulation software, and simulated the corn threshing process using the software. The simulation results are close to the actual situation, and the results verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the new method. Thus we have laid the foundation for using the DEM to analyze the corn threshing process and putting forward a novel method for the optimal design of the corn thresher.

A dual-etch via tapering technology has been presented which combines Bosch process and isotropic etch process. It has been shown that the dual-etch process technology provides a high degree of process flexibility to the user by independently controlling and optimizing the etch rate and profile tapering process. Based on experimental work, RIE process models have been set up using ELITE simulation software from Silvaco. Detailed DOE has been done to optimize the RIE models so that the experimental and simulation results match over a wide range of via geometries and aspect ratios. The optimized models have been further used to predict the aspect ratio induced RIE lag effects.

In this study, a part of the shafting structure of the accessory transmission system consisting of shaft-gear-bearing is studied. ANSYS/LS-DYNA explicit dynamics simulation software is used to simulate the dynamics of the shaft structure. It compares and analyzes the overall shaft structure, gears and bearings. The simulation results show that: The place where the equivalent stress of the shaft structure is relatively large is mainly concentrated at the tooth root and the tooth surface, where the stress is mainly in the vicinity of two or three teeth. With the change of time, the maximum equivalent stress value and position of the rolling elements are also correspondingly changed, it provides a reference for the design and optimization of gear and bearing in the actual assembly process for transmission system.

In order to study the curve passing performance of urban track vehicle and to evaluate its safety, the calculation model was established and simplified. Then track irregularity was used as input and passing curve was set up. The simulation modal was produced with software SIMPACK. With the track irregularity, the traveling safety of the vehicle was analyzed. The simulation results show that the traveling safety of the track vehicle could satisfy the requirement of relevant standard.
