The collapsible loess ground treatment methods include dynamic compaction, soil replacement cushion method, lime-soil compaction pile composite foundation, pile foundation, etc. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages. The bearing capacity of collapsible loess is not lower, it is non-soft soil. The purpose of the collapsible loess ground treatment is to eliminate the collapsible at the most, few to increase the capacity and improve the heterogeneity of the foundation. In this paper, the collapsible loess foundation treatment methods are been compacted from the technical and economic factors. And the key issues of the collapsible loess ground treatment methods are discussed.

As a new ground treatment technology, the bag-grouting-pile composite foundation is used in railway soft soil reinforcement. In this paper, the application effect of bag-grouting-pile in coastal soft foundation treatment was studied in this experimental research; the deep settlement and the deep horizontal displacement of embankment edge in bag-grouting-pile composite foundation are tested in the research. The results of research show that the bag-grouting-pile composite foundation is a cost-effective ground treatment technology using in coastal soft foundation treatment.

In this paper, advantages and disadvantages of single evaluation methods in solution selection of soft soil foundation treatment are analyzed and evaluated. Grey multilevel evaluation model combined AHP method and GRAP method is used in method selection of soft soil foundation treatment. Three kinds of soft soil foundation treatment schemes to be adopted in breakwater engineering construction in the west area of Yantai port are analyzed. And optimal selection of soft foundation treatment schemes is realized. It indicates that grey multilevel evaluation methods is reliable in results and possesses certain practical applicability and effectiveness, which provides a new way for optimal selection for soft soil foundation treatment methods of port engineering.

There is the soft soil distribution mostly in the regions along the river or the sea in our country, so the soft foundation treatment shold be well done in building highways. With respect to the soft foundation treatment methods, the scholars, engineers and technicians home and abroad have put forward a dozen or more methods, such as replacement method, reinforcement method, top pressing method, sandstone pile method and deep mixing method etc.. This article discusses the reinforcement mechanism, construction technology and some proceedings requiring attention in the construction and detection of the cement agitation pile.

Compaction piles is one of the conventional methods for foundation treatment in collapsible loess, there are very few research results about soil compaction effect between piles when forming the piles. Firstly, the stress field and displacement field of soil around compaction piles are elastic-plastic analyzed on the basis of the cavity expansion theory; then a series of field and laboratory tests were performed to evaluate the treatment effect of the compaction pile composite foundation. The result shows that the collapsibility has been eliminated, all physical mechanics indexes have been improved, and soil compressibility and modulus of compressibility are also increased remarkably. It embodies the correctness of the computation theory. And the feasibility of the compaction piles composite foundation on collapsible loess area is further proved.

Based on the foundation treatment for deep soft soil in Chaoshan station district, this paper studied the engineering characteristics of soft soil in Chaoshan and the settlement regularity of pile-net composite foundation, etc. by numerical simulation. The results show: the reduction of pile spacing and the settings of pile cap can decrease the settlement of soil among the piles on foundation plane.

The crude oil storage tank foundation is always treated by using vibration replacement stone column composite foundation treatment, mainly to improve the engineering properties of foundation soil and the deformation properties of soil, improving the bearing capacity of composite foundation, and to ensure the normal use of tank in the superstructure loads from damage or excessive deformation. Before construction to carry out the vibration replacement stone column composite foundation pile test, the test shows that strengthening the foundation bearing capacity characteristic value of vibration replacement stone column can meet the design requirements.
