An Intelligent Integrated CAD system applied in mechanical engineering design for selection, calculation and design embodiment of shaft-bearing-gear is presented in the paper. The CAD activities in correlation with the expert system are defined according to a given expertise domain, design of mechanical systems, which is supposed to take into account and operate with two information type: knowledge and data. Final results and concrete example are performed using CAD/CAE/CAM software, CATIA environment. Knowledge and databases processing for application presented in this paper use specific programming environment expert systems, Prolog – Flex. For user interface Visual Basic programming language is used, and Excel for data and knowledge base, which integrated in CATIA environment. Data transmission between the two performance programs CATIA and Prolog is made through the Excel files

The design and implementation of a programming environment including an editor, a debugger and an interpreter engine for Lograph, a general-purpose visual logic programming language, is discussed. The rationale for user-interface design decisions is presented, the goal of which is to increase cognitive support for the creation, exploration and debugging of Lograph programs. The design of the interpreter engine allows for animation of execution in the debugger. The engine takes full advantage of an efficient implementation of Prolog, and operates on a Prolog translation of Lograph programs and queries. The translated Lograph programs are probed with instrumentation code at appropriate places so that applications of Lograph rules are reported to the visual interface of the Lograph debugger as a side effect of the execution of a program.

This research is aimed at developing a Software Framework for poultry management with the objectives: To provide poultry farmers with expert knowledge from the comfort of their homes. The system is developed using generic iterative waterfall model as methodology, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Bootstrap for graphical user interface. PHP is used as programming language and MySQL as DBMS and normalization technique. The system is hosted locally for validation and testing on Xampp local host. The researchers recommended Poultry farmers to adopt and use the software framework because it can give knowledge on how to manage poultry expert system of different categories in poultry farming.

Intestine is one of the organs of the digestive system in the human body which is shaped like pipes and act as gatekeeper food system for our bodies. Many people do not noticed his intestines health because they are too busy with his activity, or lazy to go to the doctor, even when hospital were many visitors there is also felt a lot of to waste time to queue up because they want to get their turn to be checked and a lot of costs to be incurred. This research discusses about creating expert system to diagnose intestinal diseases using certainty factor method.  Applications developed with Visual Basic programming language with MySQL as its database. The results of this research able to do early diagnosis of the symptoms that is felt system users, and provide diagnostic results such as type of disease suffered, prevention and its information.

Varicella-zoster is a virus that can cause varicella and shingles. This disease is referred to as chicken pox because bubbles or boils that form on the skin when it bursts out with water. This disease is very easy to spread to others, especially children who have never been exposed to varicella-zoster. The spread of this virus occurs through the air and direct contact with sufferers The expert system is one branch of AI that makes broad users specific to solving expert human-level problems. Varicella zoster is a virus that can cause varicella and shingles. The resulting software is able to diagnose certainty value calculations using the Dempster-Shafer method, using a visual basic programming language that can act like an expert. ABSTRACT<br />Information technology developments today, both hardware and software, computers have<br />been unable to solve problems faced by humans in various fields so that it can be resolved easily. In<br />everyday practice where a novice technician is in need of the guidance of an expert. Because<br />technicians beginners usually have a fear of taking their own decisions in diagnosing damage to an<br />electronic device. The main components that should be present in an expert system is a knowledge<br />base (knowledge base), inference engine (engine puller conclusion), explanation subsystem<br />(explanatory output subsystem) and the user interface. The implementation phase is done design the<br />system into a software model that has been designed in the previous stage. application of expert<br />systems for active speaker damage by backward chaining method in the programming language<br />Visual Basic 6.0. The results of this research are expert systems to assist in damage to diagnose<br />active speakers can make it easy for novice technicians to find the cause kerusan on the active<br />speaker. Wooden box designing is usually carried out in SolidWorks or such general CAD systems. By secondary development on general CAD system using high level programming language such as Visual Basic, we can create a dedicated CAD system for wooden box. However these dedicated systems are mostly local computer based and not easy for sharing on Internet. In this paper, a web-based CAD system for wooden box has been established by combining PHP language and MySQL database with a localized dedicated CAD system for wooden box. With this system, we can design wooden boxes on the webpages without the installation of any CAD software in local computers, thus sharing the design system and results on Internet.

Chicken disease is a condition in which the body organs of chickens cannot function normally. Diagnosing a disease requires symptoms that appear on the chicken's body. To conduct a disease diagnosis, further examination is needed by specialists (experts). An expert system is a system that uses human knowledge that is entered into a computer to solve problems that are usually resolved by experts. The system created in solving problems uses the Bayes Theorem method in which the inference process uses Forward Chaining. The application was developed using the visual basic 2010 programming language and MySQL database.

At this time the use of computer peripheral technology has grown rapidly and is popular in the community. Most people use it not only for commercial purposes, but also to obtain information on the detection of disease quickly and efficiently with computer-based applications that can help the general public to find out the causes and symptoms of these diseases. For this reason, we need a system designed to be able to mimic the expertise of an expert in answering questions and solving a problem in accordance with the knowledge of an expert entered into a computer system. The development of Artificial Intelligence technology that has occurred has enabled the Expert System to be applied in detecting diseases using the programming language. One of them is in providing information about various problems, especially ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura) disease. The expert system method used is the Variable Centered Intelligent Rule System (VCIRS) used to deal with diagnosing ITP disease. With the facilities provided for users and administrators, it allows both users and administrators to use this system according to their individual needs. Users are given the ease of knowing information about ITP disease, its causes and prevention. This Expert System was created using the Microsoft Visual Basic 2008 Programming Language.

Object customization in Computer Aided Design (CAD) is a method used to modify the sketch parameters and change the model geometries. This method is one of important features in part modelling which empowered CAD user to simply modify their product. The conventional method of modifying CAD model is usually relied on the manual editing. This paper outlines a development of program than can be integrated in CAD/CAM system for real time object customization. It uses Visual Basic (VB) programming with custom Graphical User Interface (GUI) generated in NX10 (CAD/CAM software) interface. The main contribution of this research is a tool for real time object customization that capable to assist the modification of 3D model. In order to develop the tool, 3D model modification instructions are translated into programming codes by using Journaling tools in NX interface. Editable parameters are identified based on the model shapes. The related codes are reconstructed, modified and linked to the functional GUI.  This allows user to simply modify the model shapes in real time with minimum process steps. The performance of the method is evaluated in terms of the reduction of process steps and time in modifying the 3D model in CAD system. All the findings and details of approach are presented.

Every human being has an interest, and a different talent. Interest is a strong impetus for a person to do something he wants. Talent itself is an existing ability or innate or the ability that can be trained to master the things that interest. The potential of the child should be stimulated in advance so that it can be seen as a skill, knowledge and skillfulness that becomes the provision of his life. One way to recognize the child's talents and interests requires a test to understand the temperament and personality of the child, to understand multiple intelligences and to recognize the direction of the child's interest. The test is applied to an expert system using the Forward Chaining method to help determine the type of intelligence in the child. Each type of child intelligence has several potential talents and special interests of the child. The expert system is implemented in a Visual Basic 6.0 programming language. The results of this study in obtaining an alternative decision to recognize the type of intelligence of children who show potential talents and interests of children.
