Solar powered intellective vehicles (SPIVs) not only focus on energy saving and environmental protection, but also have finer feasibility. The design of extended range in SPIVs is a kind of the important directions that low carbon green vehicles will be design in future. We will reflect demanding design of extended range shoot to convert the target design level. The optimal design is actualized for photovoltaic array collocation of solar energy in SPIVs. The “zero oils consume, zero exhaust, increment drives distance” demand of SPIVs are carry out by the vehicle with design carries to net electrical source system of extended range.

By comparing the production indexes of large blast furnaces (BF) in China between the first half of 2019 and 2015–2016, the production status, reductant consumption, raw materials and operation conditions have been reviewed. In the first half of 2019, Chinese large BFs still had made a lot of achievements, but it is also discovered by comparison that not only the raw materials quality but also the large BFs stability have the trend of getting worse, so some work should be done to stop and recover the unfavorable situation. Based on that, the expectations of enhancing the raw materials quality and improving the operation conditions are suggested. Large BFs make great contributions to energy saving, low-carbon, high automatic, environmental protection and economic development, so there will be more large BFs constructed and put into production in China in the future.

Plant fiber buildings are made of plant fiber components. They represent the development direction of new-period architectural philosophy of low-carbon ecological economy,building properties and architectural styles. The water water quality detecting instrument using digital control and solar power technologies, which has the advantages of energy saving and environmental protection.The system components,hardware and sof tware of detecting instrument is introduced,and a prototype of designed water quality detecting instrument was developed and experimental test. Energy saving today is an integral part of the development strategy of agricultural organizations. Considerable attention is paid to the modernization and automation of technological processes in agricultural enterprises, which can improve the quality of work and reduce the cost of production. The direction of modernization is to reduce the consumption of electric energy by improving the water treatment system in livestock complexes. (Research purpose) The research purpose is to determine the potential of solar energy used in the Nizhny Novgorod region and to determine the possibility of its use for water heating in livestock complexes and to consider the cost-effectiveness of using a device to heat water through solar energy. (Materials and methods) Authors used an improved algorithm of Pixer and Laszlo, applied in the NASA project «Surface meteorology and Energy», which allows to calculate the optimal angle of inclination of the device for heating water. (Results and discussion) Designed a mock-up of a livestock complex with a solar water heater installed on the roof, protected by patent for invention No. 2672656. A mathematical model was designed experimentally to predict the results of the plant operation in non-described modes. (Conclusions) The article reveales the optimal capacity of the circulation pump. Authors have created a mathematical model of the device that allows to predict the water heating in a certain period of time. The article presents the calculations on the energy and economic efficiency of using a solar water heater. An electric energy saving of about 30 percent, in the economic equivalent of 35 percent.
