Following the rapid growth of the automotive and communication industries, components with high quality and low cost are eagerly desired in China. Various technologies have been developed in China to meet the demand, while semi-solid processing (SSP) of alloys and composites is one of the most successfully developed and practically applied technologies. The major SSP applied in China is the rheocasting in terms of the Swirled Enthalpy Equilibration Device (SEED) process. In this review, we start with a brief reviewing some common slurry preparation methods and recent innovations of the SEED process. Subsequently, we describe the general situation and some recent examples of successful development and applications of SSP in China. Lastly, the future directions in SSP of alloys and composites are highlighted in this frontier research field at the end of this review.

As the urbanization process in developing countries continues to accelerate, although my country has achieved significant results in planning and construction, there are still many problems. For example, the rate of urban green space decreases with the continuous increase of urban buildings. Therefore, the domestic urban underground civil air defence Engineering construction is in a very important position at this stage, and our development goals must be shifted from above ground to underground. This article analyzes the general situation of the domestic civil air defence engineering system, expounds on the current situation and existing problems of my country's urban civil air defence engineering system, which has an important influence on the development of my country's cities. Functional departments must take into account the various functions of civil air defence projects and put people's safety first. At the same time, firefighters should also improve their professionalism, leadership and organizational skills, and evacuate people when encountering danger and arrange for them to take refuge in designated locations. The technicians in the relevant departments in the city need to use scientific and technological means to mix the urban network system in series and parallel so that the various structures of the urban network system are unified and interact with each other. When a disaster strikes, it can protect the safety of the people and reduce the economic loss of the city. Reduce to the lowest level to maximize benefits.

The purpose of the study is to show the general situation of Catholic periodicals under the current democratic system. The author provides an analytical definition of the journals, followed by a dedicated typology. The discussed periodicals, which represent the class of community media, have all played an important religious, cultural and political role at some point in history. The selection of this particular research topic is justified by the shortage of in-depth studies on this important media segment. The interdisciplinary study takes the form of a compilatory review, illustrating obvious correlations between media and politics through the example of Catholic periodicals. The article uses the following methods: literary and critical analysis, as well as media and press content analysis.

This paper deals with Lupaş post quantum Bernstein operators over arbitrary closed and bounded interval constructed with the help of Lupaş post quantum Bernstein bases. Due to the property that these bases are scale invariant and translation invariant, the derived results on arbitrary intervals are important from computational point of view. Approximation properties of Lupaş post quantum Bernstein operators on arbitrary compact intervals based on Korovkin type theorem are studied. More general situation along all possible cases have been discussed favouring convergence of sequence of Lupaş post quantum Bernstein operators to any continuous function defined on compact interval. Rate of convergence by modulus of continuity and functions of Lipschitz class are computed. Graphical analysis has been presented with the help of MATLAB to demonstrate approximation of continuous functions by Lupaş post quantum Bernstein operators on different compact intervals.

Various approaches to investigating the sources of inequality in education are discussed in the paper. It is noted that data on the representation of students from families with various parental status at levels of education do not give a full picture of what is happening. Full-fledged interpretation requires to turn to a much larger amount of information, primarily because an influence of the family and the environment during the period of primary socialization is of decisive importance for the formation of chances in the educational sphere. The social experience of the family, the models of social behavior based on it, the developed cultural patterns, strategies, and tactics are important. At the same time, the orientations towards education are not fixed once and for all; they can be transformed if the general situation changes (for example, economic) or a directed influence is made (for example, pedagogical). The formed orientations are, as it were, a starting position and later sets the direction and speed of possible reflection on certain influences. The pandemic and the resulting intensification of distance learning have sharply increased the importance of motivation and other students’ qualities, formed during the period of primary socialization: they are critical for academic success. The accompanying growth of inequality in education has actualized the search for its sources to find means to overcome or at least reduce it. Equalization of opportunities for young people from all social groups is especially important for the growth of human potential.

The aim of this study is to examine the role of hedonic value (HV), utilitarian value (UV), and customer satisfaction (CS) in individuals' willingness to pay a price premium (WTP a price premium) and repurchase intention (RI) to smartwatches. This study is unique and important as it only deals with smartwatches, unlike other studies on wearable technology products that often focus on the general situation. The research sample includes smartwatch users aged 18 years and above. An online survey was used to collect research data from 420 people identified using the convenience sampling method. After checking the missing values, 401 valid surveys were retained for further analysis. Hypotheses were analysed using the Structural Equation Modelling. The research findings revealed strong relationships between HV and UV and CS. HV and UV were found to positively affect the CS. The results showed that CS also had a positive influence on both WTP a price premium and RI.

The current college English online teaching mode is mainly based on the traditional online MOOC teaching, which has some problems such as poor interaction. Under the mixed background, this paper studies the online college English teaching model based on the Gaussian mutation genetic algorithm and neural network algorithm. Firstly, it briefly introduces the general situation of network English teaching and the hybrid application of the Gaussian mutation genetic algorithm. Through the investigation and test analysis of students before and after class, the experiment evaluates students’ network teaching quality in many aspects. On this basis, a better teaching quality evaluation model is proposed. Finally, the practical application shows that the model in this paper is very feasible. In the end, students have higher enthusiasm and seriousness in the hybrid context of college English online teaching based on the dual algorithm. English teaching quality can make use of each student’s test scores in English classroom. This paper realizes the overall teaching through real-time dynamic tracking. Quantitative indicators are used to sort the influence degree of English classroom teaching indicators, which can effectively evaluate the quality of English classroom teaching.

Background: When the novel coronavirus – SARS-CoV-2 – started to spread globally, there was a call for social and behavioral scientists to conduct research to explore the wider socio-cultural contexts of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), to understand vulnerabilities, as well as to increase engagement within communities to facilitate adoption of public health measures. In this manuscript, we describe the protocol for a study conducted in Indonesia, Nepal, and Vietnam. In the study, we explore how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting individuals and their communities. We focus on the wider health and economic impacts of COVID-19, in particular emerging and increased burden on mental health, as well as new or deepened vulnerabilities in the communities. The introduction of vaccines has added another layer of complexity and highlights differences in acceptance and inequalities around access.  Methods: We use mixed methods, combining survey methods and social media surveillance to gain a picture of the general situation within each country, with in-depth qualitative methods to gain a deeper understanding of issues, coupled with a synergistic engagement component. We also include an exploration of the role of social media in revealing or driving perceptions of the pandemic more broadly. Participants include health workers and members of communities from 13 sites across the three countries. Data collection is spread across two phases. Phase 1 is concerned with exploring lived experiences, impacts on working lives and livelihoods, mental health and coping strategies. Phase 2 is concerned with acceptance of COVID-19 vaccines, factors that increase and reduce acceptance, and factors that influence access. Conclusions: We will disseminate findings in multiple ways including short reports and policy briefs, articles in peer-reviewed journals, and digital diaries will be edited into short films and uploaded onto social media sites.

Quantum systems with a finite number of states at all times have been a primary element of many physical models in nuclear and elementary particle physics, as well as in condensed matter physics. Today, however, due to a practical demand in the area of developing quantum technologies, a whole set of novel tasks for improving our understanding of the structure of finite-dimensional quantum systems has appeared. In the present article we will concentrate on one aspect of such studies related to the problem of explicit parameterization of state space of an NN-level quantum system. More precisely, we will discuss the problem of a practical description of the unitary SU(N){SU(N)}-invariant counterpart of the NN-level state space BN{\mathcal{B}_N}, i.e., the unitary orbit space BN/SU(N){B_N/SU(N)}. It will be demonstrated that the combination of well-known methods of the polynomial invariant theory and convex geometry provides useful parameterization for the elements of BN/SU(N){B_N/SU(N)}. To illustrate the general situation, a detailed description ofBN/SU(N){B_N/SU(N)} for low-level systems: qubit (N=2{N= 2}), qutrit (N=3{N=3}), quatrit (N=4{N= 4}) - will be given.

AbstractThis paper establishes new analytical results in the mathematical theory of brush tyre models. In the first part, the exact problem which considers large camber angles is analysed from the perspective of linear dynamical systems. Under the assumption of vanishing sliding, the most salient properties of the model are discussed with some insights on concepts as existence and uniqueness of the solution. A comparison against the classic steady-state theory suggests that the latter represents a very good approximation even in case of large camber angles. Furthermore, in respect to the classic theory, the more general situation of limited friction is explored. It is demonstrated that, in transient conditions, exact sliding solutions can be determined for all the one-dimensional problems. For the case of pure lateral slip, the investigation is conducted under the assumption of a strictly concave pressure distribution in the rolling direction.
