The hydraulic filling is the construction method of joint way in Nanjing Second Yangze Bridge. The leaching facility, drainage time and cofferdam stability in filling are key points in design. By laboratory test, the compaction, direct shear and permeability test of different compaction are investigated. The deformation through field monitor is carried during the cofferdam construction and hydraulic filling. After parameter test and stability analysis according to hydraulic filling, it is shown that the drainage ditch in base of cofferdam can satisfy drainage requirement, the leaching time is about half of one month. The compactness of cofferdam is 0.92. The slope of cofferdam during construction and hydraulic filling is in stability by analysis. And the cofferdam is in stable situation during hydraulic filling according to deformation monitoring result.

Aiming at the problem of serious deformation and failure of the surrounding rock of the main roadways in diabase zone in west wing on-500m leve in Dongbaowei Coal Mine and roof caving occurring several times, the rupture characteristics of roadway roof rock was observed in this paper. And the observation result shows that the rupture of the roof rock of the roadways in diabase zone has obvious zoning characteristics, and the roadway roof rock is divided into three zones: fragmentation zone, fissure zone and intact rock zone. According to this, this paper introduced a new concept of controlling roadway roof subsidence and redesigned the support parameters of the roof of the roadway in diabase zone. The deformation monitoring of the testing roadway roof rock was carried out, and the monitoring result shows that the anchor supporting scheme which was based on the “three zones” of roadway roof could control the roof rock deformation better. This indicates that roadway anchor support design method which is based on the “three zones” of roadway roof is correct and feasible.

Abstract Landfill liner is one of the essential components that prevent leachate infiltration of the soil from causing pollution. A liner has specific design criteria to function optimally. This study analyses the permeability and stability value of the mixture of composite materials consisting of demolition waste, bentonite, and lime materials. This study using some methods include falling head method for permeability test and direct shear strength for stability test. Based on the results of this research, it can be seen that the mixture of demolition waste and bentonite to composite can reduce the internal shear angle and increase the cohesion. While lime provides a fluctuating value for cohesiveness, it can increase the internal shear angle. The best mixture to be used as an alternative composite liner is the V6 composite which has a demolition waste composition of 79%, 20% bentonite, and 1% lime with a permeability coefficient value of 8.526 × 10−7 cm/s.

Purpose The purpose of this article is to address some common concerns associated with the neurodiversity paradigm and to offer related implications for service provision to school-age autistic students. In particular, we highlight the need to (a) view first-person autistic perspectives as an integral component of evidence-based practice, (b) use the individualized education plan as a means to actively address environmental contributions to communicative competence, and (c) center intervention around respect for autistic sociality and self-expression. We support these points with cross-disciplinary scholarship and writings from autistic individuals. Conclusions We recognize that school-based speech-language pathologists are bound by institutional constraints, such as eligibility determination and Individualized Education Program processes that are not inherently consistent with the neurodiversity paradigm. Consequently, we offer examples for implementing the neurodiversity paradigm while working within these existing structures. In sum, this article addresses key points of tension related to the neurodiversity paradigm in a way that we hope will directly translate into improved service provision for autistic students. In this article I examine aspects of the relationship between mothers and sons from an attachment perspective in an Irish context. Through the works of Irish writers such as Seamus Heaney, John McGahern, and Colm Tóibín, I focus on particular aspects of this relationship, which fails to support the developmental processes of separation and individuation in the many men who come to me for psychotherapy. I illustrate key points concerning this attachment dynamic through the use of clinical examples of my work with two men from my practice. While acknowledging that many other cultural factors play a significant role in the emotional development of children, integrating the work of our poets, novelists, and scholars with an attachment perspective

The article discusses methods for determining the hydraulic resistance of units of an accident-resistant fuel system. A detailed description of the need to create such fuel systems for modern helicopters is given. The development of such systems today is impossible without the use of the method of mathematical modeling, which allows to qualitatively solve problems arising in the design process. To obtain accurate research results, it is necessary to have a complete description of all elements and assemblies of the system. Methods for determining the hydraulic characteristics of AFS elements using the drag coefficient, reference literature and CFD codes are considered. As the investigated AFS units, a drain valve and burst fitting were studied in the article. A hydraulic calculation of these AFS elements ware performed, the simulation results are presented in the ANSYS CFX software package. Also as the calculation results of bursting fitting, the pressure distribution fields of full and static pressure, velocity and streamlines are also shown. An experimental setup for validating the results obtained using the mathematical modeling method is considered, as well as a methodology for conducting a full-scale experiment to determine the hydraulic resistance of the unit. Materials have been prepared for inclusion in a one-dimensional mathematical model of an accident-resistant fuel system.

This article examines some of the key points attributed to the Liberal Reform of 1857 as they appeared in the debate over immigration policy in Mexico from 1836 to 1855. It argues that many of the key provisions of reform that are attributed to the radical Liberals of 1857 were, in fact, part of a more broad-ranging and moderate debate for decades before. In this manner, immigration policy debates often served as a ““test balloon““for what would later be defined as the essential points of liberalism.
