This paper analyses the construction of present situation and the existing problems of Chinese cities emergency shelters, proposed Chinese cities emergency shelters countermeasures and suggestions in the planning layout, processing the scientific and rational layout of Chinese cities emergency shelters to improve the ability of Chinese cities earthquake disaster reduction. Hoping this paper can provide some reference for other cities of earthquake disaster reduction emergency shelters layout studies.

Public facilities are the basis of urban public space, and public facilities are core parts of emergency shelters. It is important that the design of rescue facilities focuses on relief efforts. This article analyzes the present situation and raises questions about the study on the design of public facilities in emergency shelters, then applies theory related to design semiotics, cites examples, and suggests improvements on the usability and completeness of public facilities in emergency shelters. Facilities design in emergency shelters provides the theoretical foundation to make rescue system of emergency shelter more effective in the future.

At present, it is so prominent in the development of the petrochemical industry in China,and it is accompanied by petrochemical wastewater, which has become a big problem need to solve urgently.Because petrochemical wastewater mainly contains benzene-compound, organic matter, high salt wastewater and oil sewage, etc. They are very damaging and highly contaminated. The composition and properties of the petrochemical wastewater were introduced firstly, the current situation of petrochemical wastewater treatment at home and abroad were reviewed in the study. Especially the development of petrochemical industry in sichuan was introduced. Based on the present situation and the existing problems, put forward some countermeasures and expect technique develop direction in the future.

In order to enhance the accuracy of regional disaster-carrying capability assessment, the dissipative structure of the regional urban earthquake relative disaster-carrying system is highly complicated and nonlinear. Moreover, the problem is multi-attribute, multi-index and multilevel. Based on the evaluation index system of regional relative disaster-carrying capability, This paper used the entropy weight assignment method to work out each index’s objective weight, quantitatively researched the 29 cities’ earthquake relative disaster-carrying capability, worked out every city’s relative disaster-carrying capability and divided its grades using the mean deviation method. The research results showed that the earthquake relative disaster-carrying capability of our country was much unbalanced. It was positively correlation with the economic performance, the eastern, central and western cities’ earthquake relative disaster-carrying capabilities were mainly distributed in the shape of the ladder. The eastern cities’ capabilities were much higher than the western cities’. So, we suggested that the eastern cities should further improve its earthquake disaster-carrying capability and the central and western cities should spend more efforts to develop its earthquake disaster-carrying capability. Only in this way, our country’s urban earthquake disaster reduction can develop evenly.

The possibility of a huge earthquake affecting Tokyo in the future is high. In the event of such an earthquake, many people will face problems returning to their homes, causing complete disorder and confusion as it will be impossible for everyone to access emergency shelters. If buildings such as high-rise condominiums remain standing and safe, it will be desirable that their residents take refuge at home. In this study, we investigated the awareness of disaster mitigation needs using an internet survey of over 800 residents of high-rise condominiums (of 10 or more stories) in central Tokyo. Our results show that approximately 60% of residents would take refuge at home. However, almost none of the respondents had emergency supplies such as water, food, and other daily necessities. This lack of preparedness would result in many people needing to move to emergency shelters. By analyzing these results, we aim to develop a method for avoiding confusion in the aftermath of a disaster and educate building residents on their needs in a disaster situation and the preparatory actions they must take.

Based on investigating the present situation of dams in Jiangxi province and analyzing the reasons for deterioration condition in reservoir works, the main disease for hydraulic concrete structure of ill-dangerous dams is divided into several typical types and the characteristics of the existing problems are given as well as some control measures.

Analgin is a widely used medicine for its significant effect, convenience and low price. At present, there still exist some problems concerning the production process. The purpose of this work is to investigate present situation of analgin preparation, the disadvantages and existing problems, to discuss the possibility to optimize the process. An efficient approach to improve the process is to remove 4-aminoantipyrine sulfate related materials by extraction, which simplified the post-processing, greatly increased analgin crystallization rate, and reduced mother liquor quantity.
