Corporate logistics a major tool used to facilitate corporate goals. By definition it is a set of tasks, arranged in a way that promotes optimum material, information and value flow during the transformation process. As the above definition implies, the corporate logistics provides visualization of material flow throughout the corporation. Whereas the planning defines what will be produced, the actual production defines the production means. In contrast, the logistics provides for means and measures to ensure production preparedness, providing not only for the actual production of goods but also for a timely and effective information flow in order to achieve optimum balance of all flows in support of corporate objectives.

Contribution of presents a set of information related to modelling the structures of automated production systems. For the creation of integrated structures of production logistics system uses the principles in order to clarify and streamline in-plant material flow between different logistics nodes, including the relevant information flow, eg. throughintegrable and compatible handling and technological systems.

As the traceability system of agricultural products supply chain has much links and complex factors, difficulty to model, a unified hierarchical model was constructed and optimized by analyzing of agricultural products supply chain from farm to plate and extracting of typical flow and main factors. The unified model has two dimensions of flow and factor, each dimension is divided into several levels. The model can describe suitably of quality flow, information flow and material flow of traceability system. The model was optimized through the analysis of quality data in traceability system. we pointed out that the agricultural products processing is the most important aspect in agricultural products supply chain.

Manufacture is the pillar industry of national economy, yet its efficiency of the utilization of raw materials and energy needs increasing, and the consumption of environment needs improving urgently. From the perspective of material flow management, we introduce the material flow cost accounting (MFCA) to manufacturing enterprises and check computations according to two dimensions: value flow and material flow during the productive process. It can help achieve the goals of cutting the materials costs, saving the resources consumption and lowering environmental impact, thus the manufacturing enterprises can strengthen their competitive power and realize their own development.

Information sharing is an important factor for effectiveness within the internal supply chain. In this paper we use a methodology for mapping information flows in an internal supply chain, and case studies of two Swedish multinational organisations. Eight retrospective cases were used to map, describe and analyse the information flow that supports the physical material flow from the receipt of an order to point of delivery. Every involved person was interviewed on at least one occasion each. The interviews were conducted to map and describe the information and physical material flow. The aim was to identify factors that could improve and rationalise information flows and generate a better flow within the organisation. The study shows the importance of an integrated information system, but also clearly indicates the importance of a collaborative culture and an awareness of the human–technology interface. The study also shows that three factors of interface distortions are most frequent in the cases: (1) changes registered in the database trigger no action among the staff, (2) new knowledge to staff is stored only orally and not in the database, and (3) interface between the paper system and the database, and between the old and the new information storage culture.

As the information technology keeps on accelerating nowadays, more and more enterprises introduces financial management system to enhance their competing competence. For the enterprises, the values of applying financial management system lie in uniting the fund flow, material flow and information flow, speeding up the respond to the market and improving the efficient and economic benefits by using the functions of systematic planning, controlling, etc, combining the optimized enterprise process and allocating all kinds of recourses effectively. Financial management system provides important information for management and decision-making of the enterprises by integrating with other subsystems. Meanwhile, the rapid-changing market environment requires the enterprises’ information system can responds to the changes of every aspects, so as to support their own behavioral agility, which means the agility of the information system is needed. Therefore, when conducting financial management system, the enterprises must take a dynamic, flexible and low-cost financial business as the basis, in order to ensure the agility of the financial management system, and thereby achieve the agility of the enterprises.

Enterprise architecture allows to harmonize a company’s technological components by defining a north star accord-ing to corporate goals and strategies.  Ecopetrol-ICP’s geomechanics group needs to have elements to support software development for real time drilling monitoring. This work presents a conceptual framework for enterprise architecture focused on the optimization of information flow to support strategic decision-making by creating a soft-ware development roadmap to ease IT management for ICP’s geomechanics research group. In the Enterprise Architecture design with TOGAF the first six phases of the ADM cycle were implemented.
