A kind of design method of a complete Wireless Order-Meal System based on embedded systems and wireless communication technology is propsoed. Making use of the S3C2410, PXA270 and linux2.6 to build embedded system platform;selecting wireless WI-FI techniques to realize the wireless communication between subsystems; using Qt/embedded technology to develop the interface of embedded system; developing server system of backstage management using the JSP + MySQL5.0.

ZigBee is a kind of new wireless communication technology which is widely used in many fields. It is now widely recognized that ZigBee is suitable for short distance, low complexity, low power, consumption and low rate applications. One of the most important applications is embedded system. Standards of the physical layer and the data link layer are developed by the group of IEEE802.15.4 and the others are developed by ZigBee alliance. First of all, the paper introduces the application of ZigBee wireless communication network. Then the emphases are to build ZigBee wireless communication network and take advantage of Visual Basic to realize RSSI collection.

Mobile GIS combines geographic information systems, mobile positioning technology, embedded systems, wireless communication technology and other technologies. It is the new direction of development of GIS technology. This paper first introduces the composition and features. Then development types, platform and languages are given detailed introduction. Finally the paper analyzes the problems of the development of mobile GIS and the prospect of Mobile GIS is presented.


Stethoscope is the most generally employed tool in the health care. Sometimes hearing the patient’s heart sound or murmurs which are low in amplitude may lead to false diagnoses and this project helps to overcome several problems. The physician will be able to monitor his patient’s condition by the graph displayed using the MATLAB software in his laptop with the use of ZigBee module. MATLAB software is used for analyzing the heart sounds, so the doctor will be able to diagnoses the graph accurately. ZigBee module is employed for wireless transmission of data from the stethoscope to the doctors who are far away from the patients while the stethoscope is in contact with the patients. When immediate assistance is required i.e. when the readings cross the threshold level, a buzzer would alert the authorities for the immediate assistance. All the components could be built and controlled through the Arduino microcontroller which is easy and simple to implement. Thus our project aims at helping people and as well as doctors for easy and accurate diagnoses through the extensive use of embedded systems and wireless communication technology.

Fault tolerant is one of major requirements for embedded systems. As the embedded systems become more and more complex, more chances for various fault. When design embedded system developer has to handle these faults. Before handling faults designer has to identify and understand the types and nature of faults.Faults is the sources for low dependability, faults can be hardware and software. Hardware faults can be distinguished from systematic faults like software or design errors. The Fault can be deleted, such as extensive testing or formal verification and tolerated by fault tolerance techniques. We restrict ourselves to the problem of fault tolerance and refer to other methods for troubleshooting.This paper discusses a new design method about the fault tolerant system of embedded system. We designed a fault tolerant system of data acquisition system in dynamically re-configurable FPGA. The experiment results show that the system not only be able to higher self-adaptive ability and reliability, but also can Through the FGPA to complete a specific algorithm.

SoPC technology provides a more convenient, flexible and reliable hardware and software co-design for embedded system design. In this paper we use this method in respect of software and hardware to design a new high performance hydropower on-line monitoring system. The device has been successfully integrated in the hydropower on-line monitoring system. The practical application confirms it has high performance, good stability, scalability, and the design method for power occasions other similar applications are also of great referential significance.
