This paper introduces a optimize design method of ship unloader. The traditional structure design method is totally by experience and manual calculation, while this method is using the Finite Element Analysis (FEA) method to optimize the structure of ship unloader. Therefore this method may keep the stress and deformation of the structure under permission with less use of materials. First we use the FEA analysis software ANSYS to analyze the static strength and stiffness of grab ship unloader, and get its stress and deformation under different work conditions. Then we evaluate the results and modify the structures to improve the performances of the structure under the complex working conditions. Case study shows this method is effective and efficient in practical use.

Based on the human engineering theory the structure of the new Basketball wheelchair is designed. And the three dimensional model is drawn by means of the PRO/E software after the design. Next, the finite element analysis computation on the wheelchair structure is completed under the four work conditions by I-DEAS software. The result shows that its intensity satisfies the operation requirements and proves that the new Basketball wheelchair is comfortable, safe and reliable. The research of this paper has a more vital significance for enhancing the performance of basketball wheelchair and the development level of sport wheelchair.

This paper primarily simulates the heat exchange part’s stress and strain situation under the load of temperature and gravity and their coupling impact aiming at obtaining the stress and deformation distribution. The authors took advantage of the method of the finite element analysis to study the stress and strain situation. Through the analysis, each part of the transfer’s stress and strain can be calculated. The conclusion of this paper provides the basis for the further enhancement of the machine life and optimization of the structure design.

Taking structure strengthen of a large hotel as the engineering background, based on superposition principle, put forward the design method of concrete two-way slab strengthened with partially bonded steel plate. According to the finite element analysis, the solid finite element model is established, and then the stress, strain and deflection of two-way slab strengthened with bonded steel plate is obtained, at the meantime compared with the load test datum in situ. The analysis results show that the finite element software is a reliable tool applied to analyze the design of two-way slab strengthened with bonded steel plate. When the increasing load is larger, partially bonding steel plate strengthening has more advantage and economize than bonding carbon fiber strengthening on two-way slab, meanwhile that slab strengthened with partially bonded steel plate has better mechanical properties, strength and stiffness.

Taking an aluminum tank semitrailer as an example, this essay aim to analyze the strength and stiffness of the tank semitrailer and obtain stress and strain characteristics under different conditions on the basis of a finite element model, by using the finite element analysis software. By carrying on modal analysis in different work conditions, the essay gets the dynamic performance parameters of the tank. The results show that the tank fully meets the requirements of using, and the performance parameters of the tank will be foundation for the optimization.

Frame has important effects on the performance of the whole of heavy semi-trailer. A heavy semi-trailer frame is analyzed and researched on in the finite-element way in this article. The frame of 3D geometric model is established by using Pro/E. And it was imported into the Hypermesh to establish frame finite element model. Frame are calculated by using ANSYS solver in bending condition, emergency braking conditions and rapid turn conditions of stress and deformation conditions. The computational tools and methods we used provide the new type of frame and development with a reference method to refer to in this paper.

A lecture on the method to compute the the stress of V-tooth coupling under the actual operating conditions. the finite element analysis model of V-tooth coupling under the preload, axial load and torsion was established by used of the software ABAQUS,and the distribution of the bending stress at the root was obtained. The analytical method to compute the bending stress of V-tooth disk is deduced based on the basic principle of material mechanics, and the relative error within 10% compared with the results of finite element analysis. The paper work provide the reference for the precision design of V-tooth coupling.

In this paper, iron ladle stress and deformation has been accurately calculated using finite element analysis software ANSYS based on 260t iron ladle in standing, lifting, tipping working conditions. Distribution of stress field was obtained. The stiffness and strength of the iron ladle has been evaluated. The results show that the iron ladle in the standing, lifting and tipping working conditions, structural deformation is small, the strength and stiffness meet the requirements. This research extends the working life of 260t iron ladle. It provides theoretical basis for producing and using of the iron ladle and further optimal designing.

The frame is the main part of the force matrix of truck vehicle and the stress state is complex and difficult to design. The finite element method is more accurate for the analysis of the static and dynamic characteristics of the frame, which provide guidance for the frame structure design. Establish finite element model of the frame with the application of ANSYS. According to the mechanical analysis of the model, impose reasonable constraints and load, the most typical of the four conditions in the frame is calculated with the finite element analysis, and predicted the weak parts of the frame according to the frame stress-strain cloud, which provided a very important theoretical basis for the improvement of the frame structure of the frame and optimizing design of the frame.
