Tangshan is not only a strong economic city but also a high energy consumption city in Hebei province. Although Tangshan GDP occupies 1/5 of the provincial total, the energy consumption accounts for 1/3 of the provincial total. Facing the challenge of the low carbon economy, urban environmental problem has already become the bottleneck of future development in Tangshan, which directly influences the competition ability of this city. This paper expounded the general situation of Tangshan, and analyzed the influences of its economic development on urban environment. From strengthening low carbon awareness, planning urban construction with low carbon concept, and developing low carbon industry clusters, constructs Tangshan city marketing strategy system, thus promote Urban Competitiveness of Tangshan City.

Given the increase in energy consumption and pollution emissions, China has formulated a low-carbon economic development strategy. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are mostly at the bottom of the industrial chain and face problems of high energy consumption and low output. The problems of survival and sustainable development of SMEs are serious under the background of low-carbon economy. SMEs play an important role in optimizing economic structure and social stability. Thus, studying the survival and sustainable development strategies of SMEs in China is necessary. This study adopts the method of market survey to perform the questionnaire design, sample selection, questionnaire issuance, and data analysis from three perspectives of policy, social, and internal environments of SMEs. This study summarizes seven factors, including financing and operation management, which restrict the survival and sustainable development of SMEs in China under the background of low-carbon economy. Moreover, this study proposes specific suggestions from internal and external environments.

Low-carbon economy was an inevitable choice in response to climate warming. With the deep analysis of the environmental Kuznets curve (EKC), this paper used two models to analyze the relationship between the growth of a country’s economic and the quantity of pollutants produced in the process. The empirical study compare the two groups of samples, which described energy consumption per unit of industrial added value, each group contains five symbolic provinces or municipalities in coastal and western areas. The outcome proved the positive significance of technology innovation.

Tourist hotel is a “high energy consumption high emission high pollution” industry. So it is of great realistic significance of strengthening Chinese tourist hotel energy management under the background of low carbon economy. Aiming at the main problems of energy management of Chinese tourist hotel, we should begin from the following several aspects: First,To establish a scientific concept of hotel energy management and combine energy management training and assessment closely; The second is to build and improve energy management system and strengthen scientific and effective implement; The third is to establish a sound mechanism of hotel computer remote monitoring system to achieve hotel energy management information and automation.

Low-carbon tourism is proposed as a new pattern to develop the global low-carbon economy, which goes with the tide in the global climate of change. Because tourism industry has a so close association with another industries that almost every link of tourism activities could be related to energy consumption and CO2 emission. So, energy conservation and emission reduction constitute an important part of developing low-carbon tourism. This article selects GanSu Province, the weak ecological environment, as the research object. In accordance with the documents research and mathematical statistics , and the "bottom-up" study method., we made an research on energy consumption and the CO2 emission of GanSu province from the tourism travel , tourism accommodation, and tourism activities, respectively. From the result, GanSu's tourism with low-carbon and energy-saving characteristics, accounting for 0.45% energy consumptions and 0.86% CO2 emission in that of the GanSu's tourism. It shows that tourism fits in with the requirements of low-carbon tourism development. However, one of the most important factor in the tourism energy consumption and the CO2 emission is the tourism transportation, accounting for 68.83% energy consumptions and 65.96% CO2 emission in that of tourism respectively, which should be focus on as the key link in low-carbon tourism development.

The face of the world economic development has transitioned to a low-carbon economy, in order to meet the dual challenges of climate change and scientific development, the development of low-carbon economy has become the reality of the development of key choice. In this background, based on energy consumption situation in Hebei Province,we use GM (1,1) gray prediction model to predict Hebei Provinces energy consumption and energy consumption structure in 2003-2010. Based on the analysis of the results, support from the policies, laws, and adjust the industrial structure, promote the three levels of the low-carbon concept has made a number of recommendations for the Hebei Province future energy planning and low-carbon development.

Low carbon economy is the main direction of the future development of China. The hi-tech industry area has the features of tech-intensified, high energy consumption, high pollution, to develop hi-tech industry is good for the transfer from traditional industry to the low carbon economy mode. As a big province of China, it is imperative for Shandong Province to develop the low-carbon economy. Therefore scientific solution on carbon emissions of high-tech industrial area in Shandong province is a problem for government and academic workers to have to face and resolve. This paper analyzes the low-carbon economic situation of high-tech industry in Shandong province, and puts forward some countermeasures for low carbon economy development of high-tech industry in Shandong province.
