Aiming to improve the efficiency of access to remote database in the virtual laboratory design, the paper analyzes features and shortness of the LabView to have access to remote database and elaborates methods and programming model for LabSQL to implement database access and proposes the integrated application strategy of the LabSQL toolkit and ADO technology. Combined with a network virtual laboratory’s application development, the paper provides access steps based on LabSQL database and virtual laboratory’s design process and it is proved that the program is easy to implement and easy to use.

E-business initiative in many companies had started in the 1990s. These companies have recently begun to explore the use of Web Services (WS) technologies within their e-business context, since they provide an attractive, language-neutral, environment-neutral programming model that accelerates application development and integration inside and outside the enterprise. Despite these advantages, companies are slow to deploy WS because it requires a considerable shift in their application development process. While a few studies have reported on some of the reasons for this wait-and-see approach, a thorough and systematic investigation of the challenges from the stakeholders’ — providers, consumers, and standards organizations — perspective is needed. This study addresses that and provides a framework for studying the factors that impact the deployment and use of WS. The framework is used to analyze small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), as they play a vital role in generating employment opportunity and turnover within many major economies globally.

Palembang is the capital of the province of South Sumatra that has a diverse culture, beautiful tourist attractions and has a distinctive culinary flavor. Usually, culinary tourism becomes the main attraction for tourists when visiting an area. Culinary attractions that are often visited by tourists such as restaurants, restaurants, cafes, etc. This application aims to help staff handle orders from the surge of tourists who arrive, as well as help and make it easier for tourists to find restaurant information, restaurant places, place bookings, and choose the desired menu. This application is an ordering application for a restaurant in the city of Palembang that uses Android as a data communication process and uses notifications as its statement. This application was built using the waterfall method as an application development method so that it can facilitate the design process. This application is expected to facilitate tourists and employees in the process of booking a place in the city of Palembang.

Advanced research in life sciences calls for new information technology solutions to support complex, collaborative computer simulations and result analysis. This chapter presents the ViroLab virtual laboratory, which is an integrated system of dedicated tools and services, providing a common space for planning, building, improving and performing in-silico experiments by different groups of users. Within the virtual laboratory collaborative applications are built as experiment plans, using a notation based on the Ruby scripting language. During experiment execution, provenance data is created and stored. The virtual laboratory enables access to distributed, heterogeneous data resources, computational resources in Grid systems, clusters and standalone computers. The process of application development as well as the architecture and functionality of the virtual laboratory are demonstrated using a real-life example from the HIV treatment domain.

With the development of ASP.NET platform, ASP.NET architecture system increasingly mature and increasingly wide range of applications, ADO.NET technology to become the key technology of this system, database access, data processing and application development. This paper mainly studies the database access of ADO.NET. First introduced ASP.NET technology and several ways of ASP access to the database, which shows the advantages of ADO database access; secondly expounded the principle of ASP.NET access to the database, ASP.NET to access database through the ADO of the internal components; then introduces the main object types of ADO.NET database access required, ADO.NET is an improved version of ADO, including Command, Connection, DataAdapter, DataSet and DataReader, and so on. And describes their respective functions; finally, introduces the basic process of ADO.NET to access the database. And implementation of SQL Server database connection.

the student achievement management system is a typical application of managing information system (MIS), its development mainly includes the backstage database the establishment and maintenance of and front-end application development two aspects. For the former requirement to establish data consistency and integrality and security of data. For the latter requires the application program function complete, easy to use, etc. Use MICROSOFT ASP development tools, background database ACCESS, build system application prototype in a short time, then, to the initial prototype system needs iteration, constantly revised and improved, until forms the user satisfied feasible system.

This research provides a final assignment service application (MyAbita) as a monitoring system to carry out the guidance process. This application is made by utilizing technological developments. This application can be accessed online using Android in the data communication process. In the process of using it, this application will notify users. In the design process, this application is designed using the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, making it easier for the application design process. In developing the system, this application uses android studio software and the programming languages used are Java, PHP, and XML. And for storing the database using MySQL. This application has been integrated online so that it can be used by students in conducting the final assignment guidance process and the lecturer can also monitor the progress of the guidance process at any time.
