This study aims to determine the shortest route in the application of online transportation services which is the main attraction for entrepreneurs who want to start looking for their fortune in technology and transportation, given the enormous opportunity where the human population is very large. increased, and some human activities had to be carried out. fulfilled. Some online transportation service companies use paid features provided by Google to determine the shortest distance and route, thus costing a lot of money. In this study, to determine the shortest route on a journey, it is necessary to calculate using an algorithm method, namely the dijkstra algorithm which is an algorithm used to solve the problem of the shortest route or the shortest path from one point to another at a point. weighted graph, The distance between vertices is the weight value of each edge in the graph. A graph that has a weight must be positive (weight >= 0). Dijkstra's algorithm itself uses a greedy strategy in its operation, where in each step the chosen one with the smallest weight connects the selected node with other nodes that have not been selected. Keywords: dijkstra algorithm, online transportation service, shortest route,

Abstract Ecotourism area which relies on natural conditions and local resources such as plants is required to preserve its existing resources as the main attraction. Number of visitors can be parameter of its development. Tourist visits which exceed capacity has the potential to bring negative impact to the ecotourism as a whole. Therefore, recognizing the capacity of the area is important in order that tourism and conservation activities can synergize and go hand in hand. This study aimed at analyzing the carrying capacity of Maron Mangrove Edu Park (MMEP). Data of the study were collected by surveying visitors of MMEP, interviewing the management and directly observing the site of the study. Data were analyzed based on the concept of carrying capacity. Result of the study showed that the ecotourism area was able to accommodate only 50 people/day. The average number of visitors per day were still under the maximum carrying capacity, thus it was still “safe”. To increase visits of tourists, optimization of the area based on the concept of sustainable tourism were required and could be implemented by improving access to the location, infrastructure and quality of waste management.

Dive sites which are home to various forms of marine life, unique structures and corals have become the main attraction for scuba divers. Divers normally choose the most attractive diving sites by visiting dive centers or getting referrals from other divers. However, there is problem in conventional subjective judgments where no standard measures have been considered. As a result, the judgments on dive site attractiveness may satisfy some divers but not others. To avoid these uncertainties, this research innovatively developed the world’s first index model for the attractiveness a dive site. Eight factors have been carefully selected, namely visibility, current stability, uniqueness of underwater scenery, coral health, the immensity of the coral reef, diversity and density of marine life. Then, these identified factors were ranked and assessed by using an Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Evidential Reasoning (ER). Finally, all dive sites are indexed so it can be compared with others for better decision-making. To test the applicability of this proposed model, 22 dive sites in Perhentian Island were successfully assessed, indexed, and mapped. Terumbu Tiga (T3), Sail Rock and Tokong Laut were indexed as the top three dive sites in Perhentian Islands. The results also showed that the most profound factor that determined the attractiveness of a dive site was the diversity of its marine life followed by the diversity of its coral species, and the uniqueness of its underwater scenery. Practically, this model can be applied and widely used for indexing all dive sites in the world based on decision-makers’ preferences. It is expected that this index model will benefit divers, dive centers, marine parks, and related agencies by providing a new information that can be used in marine tourism.

Ecotourism is a sub-component of sustainable tourism that involves a visit to a natural area and manages the living parts of the natural environment. Moreover, ecotourism’s perceived potential as an effective tool for sustainable development, including economic development and conservation strategies. Currently, the importance of ecotourism service quality is gaining tremendous attention due to the growing demand for ecotourism worldwide and increasing expectations from visitors. A challenge remains in identifying how natural resource and nature-based tourism providers can best achieve those benefits and increase the visitor’s satisfaction levels, while at the same time minimising the effects of degradation to the natural resource being used. Hence, the main purpose of this study is to assess the ecotourism services quality at Kuala Tahan National Park. This study will adopt the ECOSERV instrument to measure visitor’s expectations and perceptions of service quality. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach by obtaining responses from 153 tourists. Based on service quality provided at Kuala Tahan National Park, visitor’s were satisfied with the services provided there. The data collected was analysed using descriptive statistics and Multiple Regression Analysis to achieve the objectives of the study. This study also finds the responsiveness, empathy, and assurance have a significant relationship with service quality at Kuala Tahan National Park. However, they have an unsignificant relation between ecotangibles, tangible and reliability with tourist’s satisfaction. The finding of this study is important for ecotourism activity at Kuala Tahan National Park and for government be able to promote ecotourism product as the main attraction in Malaysia.

Significance Unions remain well-entrenched in the public sector, but their influence has fallen in much of the private sector. One exception is workers in knowledge-based industries, often Millennials, who are injecting activism on social issues and corporate policy into the idea of union membership. Impacts Blue-collar industrial union membership will not revive as such jobs will not return despite political claims otherwise. Job security and wage protection will remain the main attraction of unions for low-paid manual and service workers. Unions will seek large pay rises next year as, historically, unionised wages track non-unionised raises with a slight lag.

Abstract Sidemen Distrct is one of the tourist attractions in Karangasem Regency. One of the prominent tourist attractions in Sidemen District from the past until now is the natural attractions of Iseh and Tebola as well as the sidemen songket weaving craft centre. Then, in 2010 began to expand tourism with the concept of “river tourism” namely tourism by making the Tukad Unda river as the main attraction. The development of tourism in Sidemen District is increasingly felt by the emergence of various tourism supporting facilities in the river border area. Of course, with the development of the construction of these facilities, it has an impact on the environment in the river border area, especially the spatial function seen from land use. The method used in this research is mapping analysis method with overlay technique. The results of the analysis explain that changes in land use that occur are clearly visible from the year of observation, namely in 2010 before the construction of tourism facilities until 2021. Changes in land use that occur lead to incompatibility with the direction of land use that has been determined. There are several land functions that have changed, including the function of plantation land/moor, and the function of agricultural land/rice fields. Of the two land functions, the one that shows the most changes because it is used for tourism facilities is the plantation/moor function of 5.43%. This percentage of land use change area is evidence that an activity such as tourism can have an influence on land function in an area. If this is left unchecked, it can result in arbitrary land use and not in accordance with the direction of the land function designation that has been stipulated in the spatial planning rules.

The purpose of the study were to explore and examined the resources available in the Chendor area and to determine whether the community leisure and recreational activities could be developed as tourism products. The study had also determined the tourism products’ conditions and viability, the extent of community involvement required, and whether the tourism products development could directly benefit the community without causing adverse impact on the resources. The ethnography approach was adopted where the primary data were collection via observations and interviews conducted at the site during a 2-week period. The observational process was aided by using checklists of the natural resources, cultural resources, community resources, site resources, tourism services and facility, and environment assessment. Open-ended questionnaires were used as the basis for interviewing selected community members and community leaders. Secondary data were used to enhance the findings from the primary data. Chendor had three tourism products which were watching turtle coming ashore, visitation to the turtle sanctuary, and wood carving; which had been developed, but could be further enhanced to attract more international tourists. However, accommodation facilities needed to be provided to encourage tourists to stay at Chendor so that they could contribute more income for the community. The issue on the area carrying capacity would need to be seriously examined so to conserve the main attraction of the area which was watching the turtle coming ashore to lay eggs and the turtle sanctuary.
