Diabetes is now a days consider as common problem with serious issues. Diabetes cause various other dysfunctions and issues in various organs and parts of bodies, so it should be cured and treated. Chloroxylonswietenia DC bark extract proved to be helpful in treating diabetic problems. It is highly available and can cure various other problems caused by diabetes in bodies. In present study we have studied various properties, functions, effects, of extracts of Chloroxylonswietenia DC bark extracton alloxan induced Diabetic nephropathy in Wistar rats.

ABSTRACTObjective: To identify the flavonoids high-performance thin layer chromatography (HPTLC) profiles from barks of Sapindus emarginatus Vahl.(Sapindaceae) and Morinda pubescens J.E.Sm. (Rubiaceae) by ethanol extracts.Methods: The barks of S. emarginatus Vahl. and M. pubescens J.E.Sm. extracted each separately with ethanol. Both these ethanol extracts weresubjected to preliminary phytochemical analysis. Based on phytochemical studies, the extracts obtained were subjected to HPTLC profiles for identifyand confirmation flavonoids, both these samples were compared with standard (Rutin). HPTLC analysis performed with silica gel G 60 F254 plateswith mobile phase ethyl acetate:n-butanol:formic acid:water (5:3:1:1). Detection of flavonoid compound was performed by scanning the developedplate at 254 nm.Results: Result of these both extracts shows positive tests for flavonoids. Ethanol extracts barks of S. emarginatus Vahl. and M. pubescens J.E.Sm eachwere showed bands of different Rf values with range 0.50-0.90 and standard showed bands of 0.50 Rf values.Conclusion: It can be concluded that rutin constituents of each bark extract are presents and have effective components which can be utilized as auseful herb for alleviation of various illness and disorders.Keywords: Sapindus emarginatus Vahl., Morinda pubescens J.E.Sm. Background: The Ficus dalhousiae plant (Anjeer family) is. Its important parts-leaves, stem, bark and root are. The current study is design to effect of Ficus dalhousiae bark extract on gentamicin (GM) induced with combination of benzoic acid (BA) nephrotoxicity in rats.Methods: In acute toxicity studies animals are fasted before being dosed; kept overnight. Depending on the time interval. The beginning dose will be chosen from one of four predetermined levels: 5, 50, 300, or 2000 mg/kg of body weight. The animals are evaluated for 4 and 48 hours. In nephroprotective studies we are taken 30 rats which will be divided into 5 groups. proceed group by group like-control with normal saline, BA (100 mg/kg/body weight, IP) daily, hydroalcoholic extract of Ficus dalhousiae (200 mg/kg/body weight, PO) and simultaneously administered GM (100 mg/kg/body weight, IP) daily for 9 days. And we are doing difference types of estimations, like-blood urea, uric acid and serum creatinine.Results: Ficus dalhousiae bark extract on BA action on serum creatinine and urea levels in rats given GM. When compared to control rats, eight days of GM treatment resulted in significantly higher serum creatinine and urea levels. However, BA pretreatments have significantly improved serum creatine and urea (p<0.001) to reduce GM-induced nephrotoxicity (p<0.01, resp.).Conclusions: Ficus dalhousiae has significant nephroprotective activity in nephroprotective studies, acute toxicity activity and various such type of estimations like- blood urea, uric acid and creatinine.

Most of biochemical reactions in the body generates Reactive Oxygen Species (ROS), which are involved in the pathogenesis of oxidative stress-related disorders like diabetes, nephrotoxicity, cancer, cardiovascular disorders, inflammation and neurological disorders when they attack biochemical molecules like proteins, lipids and nucleic acid. Antioxidants are used to protect the cells or tissues against potential attack by ROS. Most medicinal plants possess a rich source of antioxidants such as flavonoids, phenols, tannins, alkaloids among others. These phytochemicals are currently pursued as an alternative and complimentary drug. In this study, phytochemical components, antioxidant and acute toxicity study of the methanol extract of stem bark and root of F. sycomorus were carried out using standard methods. Findings from this study revealed the presence of some diagnostic microscopical features such as calcium oxalate, starch, gum/mucilage, lignin, Aleurone grain, suberized/Cuticular cell wall and inulin but calcium carbonate was absent in stem bark but present in the powdered root. Quantitative physical constants include moisture contents (6.40% and 7.82%), ash value (7.20% and 9.30 %) in stem bark and root respectively. Carbohydrates, alkaloid, flavonoids, saponins, tannins, glycoside, steroid, triterpenes and phenols were present in all the extracts. They were found to exhibit potent 1,1,-diphenyl 2-picryl hydrazyl (DPPH) free scavenging activity. The DPPH radical scavenging ability of the extracts showed the following trend Ascorbic acid < stem bark extract˃ root extract.
