This study aims to improve the science process skills of children aged 5-6 years through a project-based learning model. This research is a type of quasy experiment with an equivalent time series design. The research subjects consisted of 88 group children, namely children aged 5-6 years from 6 Kindergartens in Sleman Regency. Data collection was carried out using observation. Then the data were analyzed using one way ANOVA and got the sig value. 0.00, which means that there is a difference in the mean ranking of process science skills after using a project-based science learning model, so the results of this study indicate that an effective project-based science learning model is used to improve science process skills of children aged 5-6 years.

Abstract: This research aims to describe science process skills in science learning at the eight grade of SMP Negeri 8 Tanjungpinang. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach. The sample of this research were students from VIII A, VIII C, and VIII E grade of SMP Negeri 8 Tanjungpinang. Data in this research was gained from observation sheets instrument and test science process skills. The result of analysis showed science process skills of students VIII grade was good. Based on average result of science process skills from observation sheets is 66% in good category, and the result of science process skills from test is 68% in good category. When viewed from the test result the aspect of submitting hypotheses with a percentage is 54% enough category of the sample used class. Teachers suggested to develop more science process skills in the learning, both in terms of test, discussion, and experiment.

This research is motivated by the learning process carried out in class V of SD Negeri 8 Metro Timur, SD Negeri 1 Metro Barat, SD Negeri 1 Metro Utara dan SD Negeri 5 Metro Pusat. The implementation of the learning process carried out by teachers who generally still use conventional learning methods and models that are only fixated on books and more teacher-centered, students listen to explanations from the teacher, take notes, memorize information and work on problems. practice questions rather than doing practical activities through experiments or experiments. As a result, the learning process becomes less attractive and seems monotonous because students tend to be passive and less participatory in learning activities. Teachers lack innovation in the use of active and innovative methods or learning models that are more student centered. That is, learning that provides more opportunities for students to construct independently the process of understanding material through a more active learning process through search activities and problem solving. In response to this, researchers conduct learning using a project based learning learning model with the aim of improving students' science process skills and scientific literacy skills. The purpose of this study was to describe the influence of the PjBL model on process skills and scientific literacy skills. The type of this study is quasi-experimental research using the design of nonequivalent groups pre test-post test from Fraenkel and Wallen. The design of nonequivalent groups pre test - post test was started by setting the experimental group and the control group, then doing the pre test, followed by giving treatment to the two classes and ending with a post test. The subjects in this study were fifth grade elementary school students in Metro City. Data collection techniques in the form of tests. The research instrument is a spatial literacy test sheet. Data were analyzed using normality test and Mann Whitney test. The results of this study indicate that the PjBL model can improve science process skills and higher scientific literacy skills compared to groups of students who get conventional learning. Keywords: skills of science literacy, skills of science process, elementary students.

This study aims to determine the improvement of science process skills possessed students by using the PopUp Book learning media. The method used in data collection is documentation, observation and tests. In this study, researchers or lecturers use pop-up media that aiming to see an enchance in the science learning process skills of PGSD students. This study can be seen from the average assessment classically to see the science process skills possessed by students in each indicator of the science process skills. In 1st indicator, the skills to observe before using the media are 49.1% and after using the media are 82.9%.  In the 2nd Indicator, the skills of formulating a hypothesis before using the media are 42.4% and after using the media are 79.5.%. In the 3rd Indicator, the skills of planning an experiment before using the media are 46.2% and after using the media are 85.7%. In 4th indicator,  the skills of conducting experiments before using the media are 54.3% and after using the media are 90.5%. In the 5th Indicator,  the skills to predict before using the media are 43.3% and after using media are 80.9%. In the 6th indicator, the skills of applying concepts before using media are 41.9% and after using media are 78.6%. In the 7thindicator, communication skills before using media are 41.9% and after using media are 90%. The result shows that the Pop Up Book learning media can improve the science process skills of PGSD students.

The development of the ICT has influenced various fields of life, including the development of teaching materials for undergraduate students of elementary school teacher programs of a distance university. This research aims to describe the effectiveness of blended learning of the new generation of science learning materials for science process skills. This research implements a quasi-experimental type of research. Respondents in this research were 56 students in the UT Regional Office area of Jember East of Java Indonesia. The results showed the students' mastery of science process skills and learning outcomes in natural science learning materials in both moderate and high categories. Student responses showed great interest in the science content, the teaching materials, and the learning atmosphere. The constraints faced in blended learning are the internet network to support the ICT-based tutorials and the challenge to change the habit of using printed science teaching materials during teaching within blended learning.

The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of the application of Science Learning Based on Ethno-STEM with Digital Microscope, and to find out how the application of Science Learning Based on Ethno-STEM in improving the Science Process Skills of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 29 Idai. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of four stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted in two cycles, each of which consisted of one meeting. The research data collection tools were the observation sheet of science process skills and student worksheets. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the assessment of Science Process Skills showed that there was an increase in the ability to observe students from 45.83% to 64.58%, the ability to classify students from 39.58% to 54.17%, the ability to predict students from 43.75% to 56, 25%, the ability to submit hypotheses from 39.58% to 54.17%, the ability to conclude 39.58% to 56.33%, and application skills from 31.25% to 58.33%. So it can be concluded that Ethno-STEM learning assisted by a simple digital microscope can improve the Science Process Skills of SDN 29 Idai students.
