ABSTRACT: This descriptive study aims to analyze students' creative thinking skills in natural science at SMPN 6 in Tanjungpinang. A total of 119 students were being samples in this study. Data collected by test and observation. The issue of environmental pollution becomes a contextual topic to facilitate student tests and responses. From this study, it was known that students have good abilities in the aspects of fluency and flexibility in creative thinking. However in the originality and elaboration aspect are still in the sufficient category. Contextual issues of environmental pollution give support to the results of students' creative thinking abilities. However, the results obtained shows that learning strategies and learning resources are also important points in developing students’ creative thinking skills. ABSTRAK: Studi deskriptif ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa SMPN 6 di Tanjungpinang dalam pembelajaran IPA. Sebanyak 119 siswa kelas VII dijadikan sampel dalam penelitian ini. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen tes dan lembar observasi. Isu pencemaran lingkungan menjadi topik kontekstual untuk memfasilitasi tes dan respon siswa. Dari penelitian ini diketahui bahwa siswa memiliki kemampuan yang baik pada aspek kefasihan (fluency) dan keluwesan (flexibility) dalam berpikir kreatif. Namun pada aspek kebaruan ide (originality) dan kerincian ide (elaboration) masih berada pada kategori cukup. Kontekstualitas isu pencemaran lingkungan memberikan kontribusi pada hasil capaian kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa. Namun, juga diperoleh gambaran bahwa strategi pembelajaran dan sumber belajar juga menjadi point penting dalam mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif.

Abstract. Education is not only about transfer of knowledge, it is also an attempt to shape one’s personality of characteristics. Personality is a factor that has an important role in the success of teaching and learning conducted by teachers, related to ascpect cognitive, affective, and psychomotor toward their students, so the ideal teacher is needed not only in terms of intellectuals, but also in personality. The research conducted is using literatur study with data obtained from literature review. This article aims to describe and analyze how become the figure of an ideal teacher with a personality that can be a role model for all levels of society, especially students. Armed with the ideal personality competence, teacher can be more flexible in helping the formation of the personality of their students, so that it can help to achieve one of the aims educational, it is to prepare characterized human resources (HR).

ABSTRACT. Assessment in the 2013 curriculum places more emphasis on cognitive assessment possessed by students. Assessment instruments made by teachers at daily tests are generally still at the C1-C3 cognitive level, instruments that can be used to train students' abilities are at the C4-C6 level. This study aims to produce instruments for assessing higher order thinking skills on Plant material for high, reliable, high school/MA grade X students, difficulty levels, distinguishing features and good quality options. This study uses 4-D models. Which consists of the stages define, design, develop and disseminate. The disseminate stage was not carried out. The subjects of this research were 34 students of SMAN 7 Padang. The validity test results show logically valid questions with an average value of 3.27 with valid criteria. The average practicality value of 98.61% with very practical question criteria, the reliability of the questions is 0.85, and the level of difficulty of the questions between 0.29 to 0.67 with moderate criteria, as well as the questions have a good difference in power and good quality of question options. From the research it can be concluded that an instrument of assessment of high-level thinking ability about Plant material for high-school/MA grade X students has been produced which is valid, reliable, has a moderate level of difficulty, good differentiation and good quality options. ABSTRAK. Penilaian dalam kurikulum 2013 lebih menekankan kepada penilaian kognitif yang dimiliki peserta didik. Instrumen penilaian yang dibuat oleh guru pada ulangan harian umumnya masih berada pada tingkatan kognitif C1-C3, instrumen yang dapat digunakan untuk melatih kemampuan peserta didik berada pada tingkatan C4-C6. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan instrumen penilaian kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi pada materi Tumbuhan untuk peserta didik SMA/MA Kelas X  yang valid, reliabel, tingkat kesukaran sedang, daya pembeda dan kualitas option yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan model yaitu 4-D models. Yang terdiri  dari tahap define, design, develop dan disseminate. Tahap dessiminate itu tidak dilakukan.  Subjek penelitian ini yaitu 34 orang siswa SMAN 7 Padang. Hasil uji validitas menunjukkan soal valid secara logis dengan rata-rata nilai yaitu 3,27 dengan kriteria valid. Nilai rata-ra praktikalitas 98,61% dengan kriteria soal sangat praktis, reliabilitas soal yaitu 0,85, serta tingkat kesukaran soal antara 0,29 sampai 0,67 dengan kriteria sedang, serta  soal memiliki daya beda yang baik dan kualitas option soal yang baik. Dari penelitian dapat disimpulkan telah dihasilkan instrumen penilaian kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi tentang materi Tumbuhan untuk peserta didik SMA/MA kelas X yang valid, reliabel, tingkat kesukaran sedang, daya pembeda yang baik dan kualitas option  yang baik.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this study was to determine the profile of the system thinking ability of class XI students of SMA Negeri Sukabumi. This research was conducted in February on the 1st Sunday in one of the High Schools in Sukabumi City. This research uses a descriptive method. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach. The population in this study was class XI students of SMA Negeri Sukabumi as many as 171 students. Samples were taken by using purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by using written tests in the form of essay questions totaling 17 questions that had a reliability of 0, 94, a standard deviation of 6.07 and a correlation of 0.89 using 8 indicators of system thinking ability. The results showed that the profile of the ability to think of the XI grade students of SMA Negeri Sukabumi in the 2019/2020 school year was still lacking. But these results still have to be greatly improved by using models, strategies and learning approaches that are able to empower students' systems thinking abilities. One of the recommended learning models is discovery learning models assisted by concept maps. ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil kemampuan berpikir siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Kota Sukabumi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Februari pada hari Minggu pertama di salah satu SMA Kota Sukabumi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Kota Sukabumi sebanyak 171 siswa. Cara pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes tertulis dalam bentuk pertanyaan esai yang berjumlah 17 pertanyaan yang memiliki reliabilitas 0, 94, standar deviasi 6,07 dan korelasi 0,89 menggunakan 8 indikator kemampuan berpikir sistem. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa profil kemampuan berpikir siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri Sukabumi Kota pada tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 masih kurang berada pada kategori level 1 dan level 2. Hasil ini masih bisa ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan model, strategi dan pendekatan pembelajaran yang mampu memberdayakan kemampuan berpikir sistem siswa. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang direkomendasikan adalah model pembelajaran penemuan yang dibantu oleh peta konsep.

ABSTRACT. UNP Laboratory Development High School has implemented the 2013 Curriculum, but it is still not optimal. The problem found is that the learning process still often teacher centered which turned students passive. In addition, teachers also do not variation the learning model. The impact is the low student learning competency. This study aims to look at the effect of the application of Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) by the Couple Card Media on the Learning Competence of Students in Circulation System Material in the UNP Laboratory Development High School. This research is an experimental study with a Randomized Control Group Only Design research design. The population in this study were all students of class XI in the UNP Laboratory Development High School, totaling 54 students distributed in 2 classes. Sampling is done using total sampling techniques. The research instrument used form of posttest questions for aspects of knowledge, observation sheets for aspects of attitude and portfolio assessment for aspects of skills. The data analysis technique used is the t test, which is first performed prerequisite tests, namely the normality test and homogeneity test. The results showed knowledge competence (77.93), attitude competence (82.00), and skills (83.89) in the experimental class were higher than the control class 68.30 respectively; 70.58; and 79.2. These results indicate that the hypothesis is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) type of cooperative learning model assisted by a couple card media has a significant positive effect on the students' learning competency biology at SMA UNP Laboratory. ABSTRAK. SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP sudah menerapkan Kurikulum 2013, namun  masih belum optimal. Permasalahan yang ditemukan adalah proses pembelajaran masih teacher centered sehingga membuat peserta didik pasif. Selain itu, kurangnya variasi model pembelajaran. Dampaknya adalah rendahnya kompetensi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh penerapan model Rotating Trio Exchange (RTE) Berbantuan Media Couple Card terhadap Kompetensi Belajar Biologi Peserta Didik di SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian eksperimen dengan rancangan penelitian Randomized Control Group Only Design. Populasi dalam penelitian mencakup seluruh peserta didik kelas XI di SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP yang terdaftar pada tahun ajaran 2019/2020 berjumlah 54 orang peserta didik yang terdiri dari 2 kelas. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian untuk aspek pengetahuan berupa soal posttest, untuk aspek sikap berupa lembar observasi dan untuk aspek keterampilan berupa penilaian portofolio. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas sebagai uji prasyarat lalu dilakukan uji t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kompetensi pengetahuan (77,93), kompetensi sikap (82,00), dan keterampilan (83,89) pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol berturut-turut 68,30; 70,58; dan 79,22. Hasil analisis hipotesis di ketahui bahwa thitung pada ketiga kompetensi ini lebih besar dari ttabel. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis diterima. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan model RTE berbantuan media couple card berpengaruh positif yang berarti terhadap kompetensi belajar biologi peserta didik di SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP.

ABSTRACT:  Since the COVID-19 pandemic happened, gradually all learning activities are directed to be carried out by online. One of the alternative that can be used is through Google Classroom because Google Classroom can be used on PC and smartphone, making it easier for users. The purpose of this research is to know students's responses to the learning process of biology through Google Classroom at UMRAH. This type of research is descriptive. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique is quantitative descriptive statistics. The results of this study indicate that the learning process through the Google Classroom at the UMRAH received a fairly good response from aspects related to conventional learning. Then, a good response from the aspect of attractiveness, the formation of student character, ease and benefits of use. Students also gave very good responses related to the efficient use of their usage time. ABSTRAK:  Sejak pandemi COVID-19 terjadi, secara berangsur-angsur seluruh aktivitas pembelajaran diarahkan untuk dapat dilakukan secara daring. Salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan adalah melalui Google Classroom karena dapat digunakan pada PC dan smartphone, sehingga memudahkan pengguna. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui respon mahasiswa terhadap proses pembelajaran biologi melalui Google Classroom di UMRAH. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa angket. Teknik analisis data adalah statistik deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa proses pembelajaran melalui Google Classroom di UMRAH mendapat respon yang cukup baik dari aspek yang terkait dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Kemudian, respons yang baik dari aspek daya tarik, pembentukan karakter mahasiswa, kemudahan dan manfaat penggunaan. Mahasiswa juga memberikan tanggapan yang sangat baik terkait dengan efisiensi penggunaan waktu penggunaan mereka.

ABSTRACT: In addition to facilitating understanding the material that is difficult to understand, animation media can also improve student learning outcomes. The application of animation media in the research conducted aims to improve the learning outcomes of class VIII B students of 19 Kerinci State Middle School. The research method uses classroom action research with two actions in the cycle. The technique of collecting data through observation and test sheets. The results of the study indicate an increase in aspects and actions. Aspects in the first action of students' interest in learning, namely 48.38%, experienced an increase in the second action reaching an average of 80.31%. Then in the third action it increased to an average of 92.53%. This happens because the application of animation media is far more effective in attracting the attention and concentration of students in learning. If the learning interest of students is high and very enthusiastic in learning, learning will also be easy to understand, learning outcomes will be better, and learning goals can be achieved as desired.Keywords: 3D Animation Video, Biology Learning Outcomes, Learning Media ABSTRAK: Media video animasi tiga dimensi (3D) adalah salah satu media yang dapat diaplikasikan guru dalam proses pembelajaran. Penggunakan media ini menjadi alternatif bagi guru sebagai usaha untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran, khususnya pada mata pelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar biologi siswa melalui penerapan media animasi tiga dimensi (3D). Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. Subyek penelitian terdiri dari siswa SMP Negeri 19 Kerinci. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui lembar observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata nilai post-test pada siklus pertama adalah 74,94 dengan persentase siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) sebesar 55,5% . Pada siklus kedua diperoleh rata-rata nilai post-test adalah 81,5 dengan persentase siswa yang mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum (KKM) sebesar 88,8%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media video animasi tiga dimensi (3D) berpengaruh terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar biologi siswa.Kata Kunci: Video Animasi 3D, Hasil Belajar Biologi, Media Pembelajaran

Penelitian ini menganalisis keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang dalam pembelajaran biologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mendeskripsikan keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang dalam pembelajaran biologi terkhusus pada materi sistem koordinasi. (2) mendeskripsikan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keterampilan proses sains siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 pada materi sistem koordinasi. Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 40 orang yang berasal dari SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang kelas XI jurusan MIPA. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes uraian sebanyak 12 soal dan lembar observasi selama tiga kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Keterampilan Proses Sains siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Tanjungpinang pada materi sistem koordinasi berkategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 79,8% dari hasil tes dan berkategori sangat baik 90% dari hasil observasi. Dalam hasil tes aspek berkomunikasi memiliki persentase paling tinggi yaitu sebesar 94% dengan kategori sangat baik dan aspek menerapkan konsep menjadi yang paling rendah dengan persentase sebesar 64% dengan kategori baik. Dalam hasil lembar observasi aspek mengelompokkan memiliki persentase paling tinggi dengan kategori sangat baik 97% dan aspek mengamati memiliki persentase terendah yakni 83% dengan kategori sangat baik.

The availability and use of instructional media that fits the needs of students becomes a problem in learning biology at SMAN 2 Batang Anai, especially in protist material. This is due to the limited skills of teachers in obtaining and developing learning media according to the needs of students. One alternative problem is to develop learning media using the Focusky application equipped with a manufacturing manual. Focusky application will produce learning media that can stimulate students' learning styles with the advantages of drag and drop methods. The purpose of this study was to produce learning media using the Focusky application equipped with a guidebook on protist material for valid class X students. This research is development research (Research and Development) with the Instructional Development Institute (IDI) model which consists of the stages of defining, developing, and evaluating. The research subjects were two biology lecturers at FMIPA UNP and one biology teacher at SMAN 2 Batang Anai. The object of research is learning media using the Focusky application on protist material equipped with a guidebook for class X SMA students. The research data is primary data in the form of data validity which is obtained directly through the provision of validation questionnaires to the research subjects. Based on the results of the study produced learning media using the Focusky application on protist material equipped with a guidebook for students of class X that are valid with an average validity value of 88.82%.

2013 Curriculum hasn’t been done as expected in MAN 3 Pesisir Selatan. Another problem are the mindset of the students about biology that a lot of theory and pictures are dificult to understand, low learning motivation, and the learning model applied by the dominant teacher lecture method. This study aims to determine the effect of the cooperative learning model picture and picture type on student’s learning competencies on Excreation System material of class XI MAN 3 Pesisir Selatan. This type of research is a quasi experimental design randomized control group posttest only design. The research population was all student in class XI MAN 3 Pesisir Selatan enrolled in the 2018/2019 year which amounts to two class. Sampling technique using saturation sampling, class XI MIA 1 as the experimental class and class XI MIA 2 as the control class. Knowledge instrument in the form of posttest, attitude and skill instrument in the form of observation sheet. The data analysis technique used is the t test which is first carried out a prerequisite test, namely the normality test and homoenity test. Based on the result of research on the competency of student knowledge gained value tcount > ttable (2,68>1,67), attitude competence tcount > ttable (3,27>1,67) and skill competence tcount > ttable (1,89 >1,67). This proves that the hypothesis is accepted. The conclusion was that the application of cooperative learning model picture and picture type had a positive effect on student’s learning competencies on Excretion System material class XI MAN 3 Pesisir Selatan
