Purpose The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the impact of Entrepreneurship Education Programs (EEPs) from students’ and educators’ viewpoint to improve the quality of EEPs. Design/methodology/approach This research applies a qualitative-quantitative methodology. Its sample is included 291 students were selected randomly and 35 educators were chosen by convenience technique from universities of Applied Science and Technology of Iran. Findings The results revealed that essence of EEPs had a positive direct effect on objectives and content of EEPs; objectives and content of EEPs had a positive direct effect on methods of EEPs; essence of EEPs had a positive direct effect on impact of EEPs; and essence of EEPs had a positive indirect effect on methods through objectives and content based on students’ and educators’ perspective. Moreover, as opposed to educators’, students believed that methods of EEPs have not a positive direct effect on impact, while educators were opponent to students approach about the positive direct effect of essence of EEPs on methods. Research limitations/implications The study was limited to Applied Science and Technology universities were selected by convenience sampling method. Similar studies in other universities are needed to be conducted by simple random sampling to evaluate EEPs. Practical implications The study recommends policy-makers to be aware of students’ needs of EEPs’ methods, as well inform educators about effective and initiative methods. Originality/value Evaluating impact of EEPs based on demand and supply-side viewpoint is the first study conducted in Applied Science and Technology universities of Iran.

In this paper, the main concepts and the preliminary results related to a new approach for creating innovative green laboratory experiences in applied science and technology will be discussed. The term ebatronics is here introduced for the first time in the literature to indicate a kind of experimental laboratory based on the conjunction of wooden recycled materials and microcontroller based devices. In particular, tensegrity based systems are presented. A gallery of prototypes developed by the authors is shown. An intense set of photos will illustrate the real effectiveness of the proposed laboratory project.

Philosophy, I know, is philosophia perennis. A “dated” philosophy, therefore, would appear almost to amount to a contradiction in terms. In this sense the “challenge” implied by the title of this paper seems out of place. A challenge to philosophers—well, perhaps. But a challenge to philosophers in the atomic age (or, for that matter, in any specific age)—no!In general such an objection is well taken. But we are, of course, never confronted with a situation “in general,” but always with a very specific—and to-day, moreover, with a unique—situation. It is a situation which has changed radically even since the close of official hostilities at the so-called end of World War II. True enough, the history of the two world-wars had already brought home to us the fact that, with the accelerating development of applied science and technology, wars were rapidly approaching a tremendous scale of destructive power. Thus it became difficult to imagine any possibilities of still more powerful implements of devastation.

This study aims to see how well PT TASPEN's service in carrying out its duties in managing pension fund savings for employees, is discussed from several factors that exist within PT TASPEN. PT TASPEN is a non-bank financial institution that works to serve pensioners where pension recipients are only for Civil Servants. The author made observations and interviews to find out the discussion of the factors in this study. The applied science and technology method is related to the implementation of community services with analysis techniques through factors in service. Finally the results of the discussion showed that there was still something to be improved at PT TASPEN to further maximize future work. With suggestions in service procedures there must be an increase in the publication of information in print media or mass media, and in the time of service advice for companies that is to add existing teller services and add information boards. Keywords : TASPEN, service, pension fund, civil servant, community

Nanotechnology is a technology with high requirements of science and technology and involves many comprehensive disciplines. With the continuous development of science and technology, nanotechnology has penetrated into all aspects of our lives. Now nano materials, nano pumps, Nano Electronics and nanotechnology have been applied in the competitive field of China. It is these nanotechnologies that have made great progress in the field of sports competition in China. Looking to the future, we have to pay attention to the physical and mental health of athletes in the era of sports competition. At the same time, we should be good at using nanotechnology to promote the healthy and harmonious development of sports competition in China.
