Abstract In this study, the relationship between pressure management (PM) and infrastructure leakage index (ILI) in distribution systems was investigated based on the field data. Before PM, non-revenue water (NRW) rates were calculated as 48.44%, 76.49% and 36.57% and ILI indicators were determined as 16.97, 22.90 and 26.88, in three DMAs. The leakage volume is also calculated by the FAVAD equation and compared the field data. With the implementation of PM, although NRW ratios decreased, the ILI did not improve in the same rate. ILI class was improved in 3 regions, ILI class dropped from A to B in one region. Although the ILI class did not change in the 5 regions, the loss rates decreased. Using the ILI alone in regions where PM is used can create misleading results in performance analysis. It is thought that it would be more accurate to evaluate losses with performance indicators in PM areas.

Performance Evaluation is a system and how to determine the work ofindividuals, employees, work units and organizations as a whole thatare used to ensure the achievement of goals and objectives. The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of importanceand customer satisfaction on service and position of each variablewhen associated with performance indicators and service usersatisfaction in the terminal of Haluoleo Airport cargo. Performance Evaluation at Haluoleo Airport Logistics Terminalcan be measured by several indicators to determine the level ofimportance and satisfaction felt by the customers. To know the level ofimportance and satisfaction in the use of approach through analysis ofImportance Performance Analysis of interest analysis and performanceanalysis, each using a 5 Likert scale. Based on the analysis, the value ofcustomer satisfaction is 88%, which means the service criteria are verysatisfied and the quality of service at the Haluoleo Airport cargoterminal is in very good condition based on the user's rating. Overallthe value of customer satisfaction for service performance is 0.88 withthe criteria of service users feel very satisfied for the performance.

Abstract This article explores the management of objectives at BC Timisoara, motivation and performance analysis. The aim of this paper is to analyze the most important key factors involved in a basketball team performance. The basketball team analyzed is BC Timisoara, a well established club in this city of Western Romania. The article combines information gathered from BC Timisoara’s manager and management theories relevant to the topic. Goal setting is affected by financial and human resource factors as well control and regulation functions. Finally motivation plays a key role in players performance.

In this paper, a detailed thermodynamic performance analysis of a transcritical condensing (TC) cycle is performed with pure CO2 and a blend of 48.5 % propane with 51.5 % CO2 as working fluids. A realistic thermodynamic model is used incorporating irreversibilities in turbo-machineries and heat exchangers. The Key finding is that the addition of propane elevates the heat rejection temperature, but does not impair any of the performance indicators. Such a fluid may be useful for power generation in concentrated solar power applications by using which a hike of up to 2 % can be realized in the thermal efficiency of a power plant.

Abstract Sealed bidding is the preferred method for selling stumpage in many areas of the South. Industry timber procurement managers are concerned with both the success rate and the amount of overbid when assessing bidding performance. Analysis of 56 sealed-bid timber sales establishes local norms for these performance indicators in a 14-county area of south Alabama and northwestern Florida. Bidding strategies are examined and categorized as must-win, strongly competitive, weakly competitive, and noncompetitive. Factors affecting bidding performance are discussed.

It is known that earthquakes generate infrasound. The frequency spectra of the infrasound signals associated with earthquakes are concentrated within a wide frequency range (0.002-0.02 Hz), and have spectral tail extending up to the frequencies 0.1-1 Hz. Therefore, the dynamic characteristics of infrasound sensors should be chosen so as to capture main features of such signals. In this paper, the characteristics of infrasound sensor InSAS2008 developed by Institute of acoustics, Chinese academy of sciences, are described. Its performance indicators are listed and its frequency response is analyzed. The special construction in the mechanical design is developed to overcome drift problem caused by temperature variations. In addition, the infrasound sensor is not affected by nonlinear effects. The calibration results show that infrasound sensor works within a wide and flat frequency band.

Abstract For the capitalization of accounting information in view of financial performance analysis of the company, management must operate at least based on intermediate management balance, the cash flow, breakeven point and earnings per share, indicators established, first, by using the information in the statement Profit and Loss Account. Based on these considerations, the paper addresses, by the exploratory research, the main constructions based on financial accounting information presented in the profit and loss account, the objective being to show the opportunities and limitations of information generated for management.
