The website is one of the digital information media used by schools to display their profiles so that they can be known by the public. Some SMP Negeri in Kota Samarinda do not yet have a website as a media or school information center. This could be due to difficulties in creating and on the website of each school. From these problems, in this study researchers innovated to create a Content Management System (CMS) for school websites, especially at SMP Negeri 29 Samarinda. Laravel PHP framework is used with the system development method is the Waterfall method.

Content Management System (CMS) is a system or software in developing content. What is meant by content is all forms of digital information, in the form of image files, audio, video, text and other computer files. CMS makes it easy to create attractive website pages without having to understand how to create a website from scratch. Likewise, Lancang Kuning University has created an Integrated CMS website or integrated with faculty websites at Lancang Kuning University, by creating one database but the frontend and backend templates can be customized as desired. With this integrated website, it will make it easier for the main admin and faculty admin to maintain the website, including in its development. This website was built using the concept of Object Oriented and using a codeigniter framework.C

Including users in design and development of an interactive product is crucial to achieve high level of usability. Content management systems have two categories of users, content creators and content consumers, and designers of these systems have to considers the needs of both user groups. In design of interactive learning systems, special attention has to be given to the process of learning, which means that functional, accessible and usable interface has to serve the purpose of knowledge acquisition. Designing for mobile learning brings additional challenges due to the small screens of mobile devices. The paper describes the process of utilization of user-centred design in development of a simple content management system for learning called EMasters. The aim of the EMasters is to enable teachers to easily create and organize courses which will be delivered to students to facilitate web-based and mobile learning. According to the user-centred design approach, teachers and students are involved in iterative process of design, implementation and evaluation of EMasters. Evaluation study used complementary methods and provided quantitative and qualitative feedback. The usability score reached good level and the guidelines for redesign of the system interface are drown. According to the obtained results, proposed framework is confirmed to be applicable in user-centred design of content management systems in general. In addition, the directions for adjustment of the framework for specific cases are provided.

Four years after deployment of the public website using the Drupal 7 content management system, the ATLAS Education & Outreach group is in the process of migrating to the new CERN Drupal 8 infrastructure. We present lessons learned from the development, usage and evolution of the original website, and how the choice of technology helped to shape and reinforce our communication strategy. We then discuss tactics for the migration to Drupal 8, including our choice to use the CERN-override theme. This theme was developed by the CERN web team to support clients like the ATLAS experiment at the LHC to develop websites in the relatively complex and non-intuitive environment of Drupal. Furthermore, CERN has encouraged usage of this theme to mitigate support and ease future migration. We present the effects that this choice has on the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the new website.

Content management is an organisational effort of managing content, particularly in digital format. Although it has been over 25 years since content management was introduced, this field of study is still considered an emerging topic with unresolved issues-in particular, the subject of benefit achievement. Therefore, grounded on an extensive review of 135 articles, the purpose of this study is to investigate the benefits that organisations can gain through the proper use of an Enterprise Content Management System (ECMS). Subsequently, this paper identifies a list of ECMS benefits and proposes an ECMS benefit framework for further exploration into this field. Our result shows that although ECMS does bring benefits to organisations, these benefits are diverse; indicating that there are certain determinants or factors influencing the achievement of such benefits. Moreover, it is also found that in the context of the benefit framework of Shang and Seddon [10], three categories were found relevant to the field of content management: operational benefit, managerial benefit, and strategic benefit.
