The paradigm of village development is changing rapidly, so it needs the village government apparatus that can really adjust to the changing situation. The current government is paying very serious attention in efforts to reduce poverty in the village. This is done because with sustainable village development will provide benefits to improve the economy of the community, thereby impacting on improving the welfare of the community. Community participation in the development process is the main key to successful development implementation because it places the community as the driving force or as the subject of development not just as an object. Development with a participatory approach makes the community feel responsible for every process and results of development. The priority of village development has now been directed towards sustainable development goals (SDGs). BPD as a "parliamentary" institution in the village has a strategic position in creating the democratization process as well as being the spearhead of successful development. BPD must maximize its role in realizing participatory development patterns by designing development that is really the will of the community. This paper aims to examine the implementation of the functions of the Village Consultative Agency (BPD) in realizing the Village Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study uses a literacy study approach.

The limitations of the village in management in various sectors, both in the economic, health, education and infrastructure sectors make the village the main focus of the government in implementing development. Based on Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning villages, making villages have an important role in the implementation of development and empowerment. One of the implementations of the village law is by issuing village fund programs that are prioritized in achieving sustainable development goals (SDGs). To assist the government in accelerating the achievement of the SDGs, the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Regulations Number 19 of 2020 concerning Amendments to the Regulation of the Minister of Villages, Development of Disadvantaged Regions and Transmigration Number 18 of 2019 concerning General Guidelines for Assisting Village Communities has been presented. Medan Estate Village is located in Percut Sei Tuan District, Deli Serdang Regency. Community empowerment can be carried out by local village assistants who assist in facilitating the achievement of SDGs data collection starting from socialization to inputting data on applications. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of local village facilitators in assisting empowerment activities in Medan Estate Village. This research method is descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study indicate that the role of local village assistants in facilitating the village government runs according to its duties but in empowering the community it has not run optimally. The supporting factor in mentoring is the openness of the village government in establishing cooperation and the obstacle in mentoring is the lack of village community participation in village meetings. Keywords: Local Village Facilitators, Empowerment, Sustainable Development Goals.

The aim of this paper is to investigate the relationship between business and sustainable development, particularly the role of multinational enterprises (MNEs) as possible driving force for achieving sustainability. By following an inductive case study approach and referring to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, the sustainable undertakings of the Chinese MNE Huawei are explored. Published data on Huawei’s website and online resources like annual reports, news announcements, sustainability and corporate social responsibility reports are used for this purpose. The main findings indicate that Huawei can promote sustainable development internationally on three different levels: (1) products/services, (2) business operations and (3) social contributions. Based on these findings, a systematic framework is derived to help illustrate possible and classify existing MNE’s sustainability activities, as well as the related main stakeholders. This paper is useful for scholars and practitioners alike as it shows the compatibility of success in business with sustainability, as well as the potential of MNEs to contribute to sustainable development.             Keywords: Sustainable Development Goals, business, multinational enterprises, emerging markets

Higher education must include training in sustainability to make all actors aware of the serious problems our planet is facing. Mathematics plays an important role in the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and at the same time these allow working with real situations in the subject of mathematics, providing the student with active learning. Sustainability is used to make the student see the usefulness of mathematics while instilling values and attitudes towards it. A set of problems have been raised during the academic year that are solved with the developed mathematical techniques, and through a survey, the students’ perceptions about the usefulness of mathematics to reach the goals established in the SDG has been evaluated. The results show that, regardless of the student’s gender, the student’s assessment of the usefulness of this subject in solving real problems improved. It has been observed that this teaching methodology has helped to motivate students and even those who do not like this subject have improved their appreciation of it.

Public services in Pagerungan Island / Village, Sapeken District, Sumenep Regency, East Java still use a manual system. This condition is troublesome for government officials and citizens who want to get services. On the other hand, the global world and the Indonesian government have launched Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the ninth goal is development based on technological progress. One of the efforts made to make this happen is by initiating a digital village (or Desa Digital/DEDI) in the archipelago. DEDI is a form of digital-based village administration service, using gadgets owned by residents connected to applications that are centralized in the village office. The pioneering of a digital village was carried out through socialization and focus group discussions (FGD) which were carried out with village government officials from the village head, village officials, to neighborhood associations. Equalizing perceptions and desires, so that the digital village began to be initiated through village meetings to be implemented starting in 2020. To make it work effectively, mentoring is carried out, related to making programs, modules, and transfer of technology to officers and community units). The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a global strategy that aims to obtain a more equitable and just world. These objectives are organized in 17 SDGs, which are detailed in 169 targets. Different international institutions have emphasized education's relevance to developing citizens who contribute to the SDGs' achievement for 2030. However, a review focused on Physical Education exclusively has not been performed yet. Therefore, the objective of this work is double. First, to analyze and select the specific goals of the SDGs that can be implemented in the subject of Physical Education. And second, to relate these specific goals to the different models based on Physical Education practices. This review showed how three institutional documents have previously related sport, physical exercise and physical education to the specific goals of the SDGs. Based on the search done, this document selects those goals that could be integrated into the educational context through Physical Education. The bibliographic and narrative analysis carried out in this research shows that of the 169 specific goals proposed in the SDGs, only 24 could be worked on in Physical Education. In addition, after this previous analysis, a proposal for the relationship between the practice-based models and these 24 goals is presented. The contributions made in this paper will allow teachers to establish links between PE sessions and SDGs while raising awareness to develop students who contribute to a more sustainable world.

This study aims to reveal the meaning of the Creating Shared Value (CSV) practice as a contribution to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at PT Pupuk Kaltim (PKT) with a case study approach. CSV with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is a concept that does have the same umbrella, which is a charity to the community and contributes to SDG's but in practice these two concepts are different. The difference lies in the value generated. CSV provides significant value to the company in the form of profit in the form of reducing the company's activity costs and is related to the company's core business products so that the value that arises to the company is not only a good view (image) by the community. When implementing the CSR concept, the company focuses on carrying out charity actions to the community so that it creates a good corporate image by the community and does not focus on the value that is generated profitably to the company. PKT has implemented CSV practice with the floating net cages (FNC) program. The KJA program carries out activities with the grouper and lobster cultivation program and PKT's business activity is in the field of fertilizers. FNC has provided a good view from the community for PKT but the FNC that is claimed by PKT as an FNC Program is not yet a concept of CSV. In practice, FNC is more appropriate to say CSR because it has not provided profit value for PKT.

The empowerment of Indonesian post-migrant workers (Purna PMI) is carried out continuously to reduce the numbers of Indonesians working abroad. Aside from programs of related agencies, the government also involves direct community participation. This study sought to describe the participatory development communication (PDC) of Forum Purna PMI in Desa Celak, Kecamatan Gununghalu, Kabupaten Bandung Barat. This study used case study approach to provide a complete and in-depth view of the subject under study. The nature of the subject was multi-source, with key informants representing bureaucrats, academics, community leaders and post-migrant workers. Data was collected through interviews, observations and literature study. The results showed that community involvement was an important factor in realizing community development communication. Direct involvement in the planning and implementation of empowerment programs in the village fosters the community awareness to build their village, to get a job, to improve their welfare and to not leave their village in order to be a migrant worker.

The 2030 Agenda sets out seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The educational goal is to promote the education of citizens on sustainable development, among other things. Educating today's digital citizens on sustainability means training them for justice and social activism, commitment and political engagement. However, research into the subject shows a lack of consistency in the education of university students. This paper presents a study of students of Education, on education on sustainability through the practice of active and critical digital citizenship. A quasi-experimental method was used to learn about the behaviours of digital citizens, and intervention was carried out by means of an SDG-focused workshop and observation of the final level of commitment. The results show a positive level of commitment and digital activism around content related to sustainable development, which can be addressed from the university syllabus in a cross-curricular way.
