The paper provides case studies of how four school members United Nations agency teach in undergraduate and graduate programs at the colleges of information science promote educational acquisition throughout the course of study. The paper describes the writing assignments in many courses, the objectives of those assignments in enhancing the writing skills of scholars, the pedagogic approaches utilized by the school members and a discussion of the results. Suggestions for assessing student writing will be provided.

As is reported in other undergraduate disciplines, many social work students struggle with developing their writing skills. In this article we explore the special relevancy to social work education of a pedagogical approach known as Writing Across the Curriculum (WAC), which provides a model for effective teaching based on the interrelationship of writing, learning, and thinking. We view improving student writing from a strengths perspective. Including students in the language of the profession and developing their critical thinking skills is a normative process accomplished through the instructor's conscious use of writing assignments in creative and integrative ways.

Twenty-first century organizations are increasingly becoming global information networks where the emphasis on written communication is growing exponentially. Effective writing skills are becoming more essential to workplace success and thus a central focus in business programs across the country. This article addresses writing issues in business education and how they relate to effective workplace writing. The article focuses on three essential factors - teaching writing to international students, faculty attitudes, and workplace writing and how each of these aid in producing students with the effective writing skills that add value to their potential employers.

The global economy has been severely paralysed, owing to the unprecedented crisis triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, and different studies have indicated that the crisis is relatively more maleficent to the lower-income and middle-income economies. Methodologically, this study relied on the review and analysis of the grey literature, media reporting and data published by the Asian Development Bank, United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations (UN), World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF) among others. The article begins by describing the impact of the pandemic on low-income and middle-income countries, and it discusses how they have responded to the crisis. While discussions have surfaced regarding whether COVID-19 will reverse the process of globalization, what will be its impact on the low-income country like Nepal? The study also highlights that with foreign direct investments speculated to shrink and foreign assistance and remittance taking a hit, how is Nepal struggling to keep its economy afloat? Analysing the new budget that the government unveiled in 2020, this study concludes with a note that instead of effectively implementing the plans and policies directed by the budget, Nepal is unnecessarily engaged in political mess and is needlessly being dragged into the geopolitical complications.

Writing is an intricate process that encompasses various factors and is a key skill for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students. Thus, writing assignments are vital for any curriculum. One of the essential aspects of effective writing includes good grammar knowledge. Advocates of process writing argue that a free-writing journal is a practical approach to teaching EFL students writing. This study is intended to examine the impact of the free-writing journal on EFL learners. This study was conducted on 80 students from a writing course at the University. Thirty-five students were randomly selected to join the free-writing program—the experimental group—and 45 students were kept in their regular structured writing program—the control group. The experimental group selected topics of interest to them and was encouraged to write in English freely without concern for errors, whereas the control group followed a regular structured writing program where the topics were selected for them and they wrote following a clear guideline. Five major areas were investigated to evaluate students’ progress: the number of words written, spelling, capitalization, subject-verb agreement, and punctuation. The researcher conducted semi-structured interviews with 10 students of the experimental group to elicit their perception of the free-writing program. According to the analysis, students in the free-writing program acquired better grammar acquisition than the control group. The researcher also observed students’ perception of free-writing at the end of the study and found that free-writing improved their writing skills.

With the development of computer information science and technology, Internet has a large number of network propaganda and public opinion page every day. Through the network micro message and the micro-blog forwarding, network propaganda and public opinion have the impact on the development and stability of colleges, so the study network propaganda and public opinion has important significance for the development of colleges. Under this background, based on the computer Internet technology, the Internet erection of network propaganda guidance mode are analyzed, and compared with the fuzzy minimum production tree theory and the C language software, the network construction is verified. Finally the iterative process of finding the network transmission is relatively stable, after 800 iterative steps, numerical is slowly increasing, in which the maximum value is about 0.0001. The seven school propaganda is been as the minimum spanning of tree main network, its sum of weighted has been up to 1606.

Instructors directly responsible for improving student writing skills rely on many techniques, among them student journals, to help their charges master the rudiments of written communication. Instructors in such disciplines as political science, however, may exclude the development of written communication skills from the objectives they hope students achieve. Instead they regularly bemoan their students inability to put together two or three readily understandable sentences on any topic of concern, simultaneously condemning the high schools or English department for failing to teach students how to write.

The 1985 Nairobi Conference to close the United Nations decade dedicated to women of the world caught Kenyan women (and men) by storm. Indeed, the majority of Kenyan women did not know, until the eve of this conference, that there had been an entire decade dedicated to them, and committed to the achievement of Equality, Development, and Peace. However, the Kenyan policy makers and the enlightened among Kenyan women, especially leaders of women's organizations, were not only fully aware of the decade's developments, but had in various ways participated and contributed to it. On its part, the Kenya government by the end of the decade, had adopted a Women in Development (WID) policy position and created and/or promoted national machineries to develop and coordinate programs for women.
