Bukit Energi Servis Terpadu (BEST) is a company engaged in Operation & Maintenance (O&M) services which are members of the PT group. Bukit Asam Tbk. PT. Bukit Energi Servis Terpadu (BEST) already has a computer network in the form of adequate wired and wireless networks and has been connected to the internet. The bandwidth used for the scope of the office uses a bandwidth of 30 Mbps, but the problem of internet speed is not maximized where there is download activity and video streaming which causes the internet bandwidth in the office to be slow, thus affecting the activities of employees who are accessing the internet in the office either through wired networks and wireless internet hotspots. The results of the measurement of packet loss parameters (%) after Bandwidth Management with HTB is better, namely 0.12 % while before Bandwidth Management with HTB is carried out with a value of 0.52 %. The results of measuring the throughput parameters before using Bandwidth Management with HTB where the use of throughput after using Management Bandwidth with HTB obtained results of 624.9 kbps while the throughput before Bandwidth Management was carried out was 624.4 kbps. By limiting bandwidth using the Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) facility, bandwidth can be divided into certain sections or prioritized for those who need higher internet speeds, while those that do not require an internet connection are provided with a small speed.

One of the problems frequently encountered by internet users is slow internet access. In particular, when there are many users share the internet bandwidth. This problem may occur as there is no bandwidth management system employed. HTB is one the bandwidth management system available on Linux that can be installed on a network. This research focuses on the implementation of the HTB as a bandwidth management system. Based on the testing done, it is shown that after using HTB as bandwidth manager, internet access can be controlled and every client gets bandwidth as needed. The performance achieved when HTB is employed outperforms the non-HTB scenario. With HTB, the packet loss and failed transaction are reduced more than 90%.Salah satu masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh pengguna internet adalah akses internet yang lambat. Khususnya, ketika ada banyak pengguna berbagi bandwidth internet. Masalah ini dapat terjadi karena tidak ada sistem manajemen bandwidth yang digunakan. HTB adalah salah satu sistem manajemen bandwidth yang tersedia di Linux yang dapat dipasang pada jaringan. Penelitian ini berfokus pada pelaksanaan HTB sebagai sistem manajemen bandwidth. Berdasarkan pengujian dilakukan, menunjukkan bahwa setelah menggunakan HTB sebagai pengatur bandwidth, akses internet dapat dikontrol dan setiap klien mendapatkan bandwidth yang diperlukan. Kinerja yang telah dicapai ketika HTB digunakan melebihi skenario tanpa menggunakan HTB. Dengan menggunakan HTB, jumlah paket yang hilang dan transaksi yang gagal berkurang lebih dari 90%.

Bandwidth management is very important in a computer network concept. Bandwidth management functions to regulate network bandwidth so that each network user gets an evenly distributed bandwidth as a whole, even though there are many network users. In this Java shop, the distribution of bandwidth to each client has not been implemented. , there is no bandwidth management on the Java cafe internet network. The results of the internet speed test at the Java cafe use speedtest.net. The result is the distribution of bandwidth between client 1 and client 2 is not evenly distributed. On client 1 get download and upload speeds up to 0.65 and 1.14 Mbps. While on client 2 only get 2.9 and 1.14 Mbps, due to the absence of a bandwidth management system. Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) is a method of bandwidth management, HTB can provide more bandwidth to the client in a few seconds the client will get more bandwidth, the research methodology used is (Network Development Life Cycle) with a system development method for the network which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Simulation, Implementation, Monitoring, and Management. The results show that bandwidth distribution in each client can be done with each client getting a maximum bandwidth of 768Kbps and getting a bandwidth limit-at of 268Kbps so that customers can still get an internet network even though internet traffic is heavy. . and the use of burst limit as a research method can make each client get additional bandwidth when the internet network is empty and can be accepted by clients or visitors to Java stalls.. and the use of burst limit as a research method can make each client get additional bandwidth when the internet network is empty and can accepted by clients or visitors to shop jawa..

Internet is one of the needs of the community, especially among education and academics such as universities. The high level of internet users is not comparable with the facilities owned by an agency, this makes the internet network manager in Higher Education feel difficult. The cause of the problem that is always a problem is the speed and internet connection is always disjointed, resulting in the slow loading process data while browsing, both at the time of download and at the time of upload. To make internet users in campus area balanced and stable then need bandwidth management based on traffic usage of internet path better. Bandwidth management that can stabilize traffic lanes and equal bandwidth distribution, it can use bandwidth management by Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method. The calculation result in HTB method testing through file download, the average value obtained by TIPHON category standard for throughtput value index is 2 with "Medium" category, delay parameter index is 4 with "Very Good" category, jitter parameter index is 3 with the "Good" category and the packet loss parameter index is 4 with the "Very Good" category.

Computer network users have to spend a lot of money to use the Internet. The Internet has given a very big change in the dissemination of information, so that many people are using data through the Internet. This problem can be solved by MikroTik as a regulator of Internet data traffic and limiting bandwidth that can interfere with computer network activities in accordance with the regulations that have been applied. As a result of not being limited in bandwidth, it causes an overload on a network which has an impact on disrupting internet traffic on that network. Each agency should implement bandwidth restrictions according to the needs of users using the internet. Result from this research is not being limited in bandwidth, it causes an overload on a network which has an impact on disrupting internet traffic on that network. The Muhammadiyah University of Palembang currently has very high mobility, both used for browsing information, downloading data and using other facilities. For the need for bandwidth management to manage each passing data so that the distribution of bandwidth becomes evenly distributed by using the queue tree method that is applied to the proxy. To evaluate internet bandwidth analyze QoS (Quality of Service) using typhoid standardization in terms of measurement of throughput, delay, and packet loss. The results of this study show that the quality of the network with the hierarchical token bucket method is more optimal, this is because the bandwidth will be divided according to the rules applied to bandwidth management and does not cause clients to fight over bandwidth

To support all activities in the company who need access to a computer network or the internet. A stable traffic as well as the existence of a performance bond that was always adequate internet desperately needed in an era as it is today. For that VRRP (Virtual Routing Protocol Redudancy) is the solution to increase network performance can be done by the existence of this method. The use of the internet in the office requires stability for employees so that they can work well, it is not uncommon for some parties to use internet services for out-of-office needs for downloads and also social media. The Hierarchical Token Bucket (HTB) method in bandwidth management can solve this problem. HTB is a very structured method of sharing the bandwidth. HTB can be created by configuring the Mikrotik routerboard equipment by creating parent and child parameters and determining the minimum and maximum bandwidth used.

The growing number of internet users in Indonesia, making the number of users increasing especially video streaming on Youtube service. This increase is based on rapid technological developments, especially PCs, Laptops and Smartphones that use wireless or wireless internet access. The use of streaming video over wireless networks is different from cable networks Because The characteristics of wireless networks are limited Compared to wired networks, and the characteristics of streaming video transmissions that require different handling than traditional text, and the data transmissions. As a first step towards Achieving an optimum Internet network service effort, Applies Action Research This research method by utilizing video quality with 360p, 480p, and 720p. The QOS parameters Analyzed Consist of delay, jitter, throughput, packet loss and bandwidth using wireshark and NetTools for the testing phase. The results of analysis using QoS for streaming video shows the performance of wireless network services at UIN Sunan Kalijaga, Faculty of Science and Technology is still not maximal especially on video with 480p quality, that has a 20 ms delay and jitter quality level ms According -0.0269 to TIPHON is very good. The amount of throughput is 0:55 MBps throughput and the percentage is 3% and the packet loss value is 28%, if it is Categorized by TIPHON standardization bad this value falls into the category. For the average bandwidth used is 329 714 bps value.
