Based on an analysis of data from long-term studies (1995-2019), a group of 27 species was found in the fauna of weevil beetles in Izhevsk, the main ranges of which cover the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Eurasia or the countries of Central Europe ( Otiorhynchus smreczynskii Cmol. and Exomias pellucidus (Boh.)). An annotated list of these species is given. It has been shown that a significant part of the steppe species located in Izhevsk at the distribution borders are also found in other anthropogenic landscapes in the south of Udmurtia, and some in extra-zonal nature reserves (steppe slopes, valleys of large rivers). Several invasive species in the republic are known only from Izhevsk, two of them are steppe species ( Lixus fasciculatus Boh. and Pholicodes inauratus arzanovi Davidian, 1992), discovered as a result of studies in 2019, for the first time given for fauna of UR.

Abstract: We provide an inventory checklist of the amphibians from Parque Nacional da Restinga de Jurubatiba (PNRJ), a sandy coastal environment in southeastern Brazil. As a result of three years of surveys, from August 2013 to June 2016, a total of 36 amphibians species were recorded - one Gymnophiona (Typhlonectidae) and 35 species of five anuran families: Bufonidae (2 species), Craugastoridae (1), Hylidae (21), Leptodactylidae (8), and Microhylidae (3). One specie is reported for the first time for the restinga ecosystem (Chthonerpeton braestrupi) and 24 species were recorded for the first time to the PNRJ. This result reinforces the importance of long-term studies for accurate knowledge of the biodiversity. Considering that the biodiversity of the fragments of the sandy coastal environments in the state of Rio de Janeiro is poorly known, the present study provided a more detailed knowledge about different aspects of the biodiversity in the PNRJ, contributing to the preservation of this threatened ecosystem.

Ruchin A, Mikhailenko AP. 2018. Fauna of mantids and orthopterans (Insecta: Mantodea, Orthoptera) of the Mordovia StateNature Reserve, Russia. Biodiversitas 19: 1194-1206. The data on the distribution and habitat confinement of one Mantodea species and44 Orthoptera species in the Mordovia State Nature Reserve are given. Of these, one species of Orthoptera (Calliptamus italicus) isrecorded for the first time for the Mordovia State Nature Reserve, four species (Mantis religiosa, Phaneroptera falcata, Conocephalusfuscus, Tettigonia caudata) are recently penetrated, one species (Conocephalus fuscus) is reported in the Republic of Mordovia for thefirst time. In the fauna of mantids and orthopterans of the Mordovia Reserve, three ecological groups were identified: polytopic, notconfined to certain biotopes (14 species), hygrophilous representatives of intrazonal habitats (5 species) and xerophiles. Among thelatter, there are species of extrazonal habitats (13 species) and confined to dry pine forests (7 species). The steppe group was notrepresented. For the three key habitats with the largest number of identified species, brief botanical descriptions are given. Factorsinfluencing the species composition and current state of fauna of mantises and orthopterans of the Mordovia Reserve are discussed, andmeasures are proposed for the conservation of vulnerable species.

The paper provides results published or to be published of long-term in vivo equine studies to evaluate techniques of possible regenerative matrices of cartilage and bone, by means of cell-free implants or stimulation of the bone marrow. From the fixation techniques analyzed, it can be concluded that the best alternatives are the pressure technique for subchondral defects and a novel hydrogel with self-adhesive capacity for chondral defects. The equine coxal tuberosity was used for the first time as a model for regeneration studies of bone defects, analyzing scaffolds based on tricalcium phosphate, polymers and nanoparticles, by means of 3-D printing. Osteoconductivity, osteoinductivity, and the importance of microporosity were documented.Given that decellularized materials do not always give significant desired results in the regeneration of cartilage, it is important to conduct long-term studies. The technique of nanofracture and a novel self-adhesive hydrogel in the knee of the equine showed promising preliminary results in the regeneration of cartilage. The knee and the coxal tuberosity of the horse represent models of studying cartilage and bone regeneration in a true translational sense as a source of highly valuable information for clinical studies, for both horses and humans.

Purpose of the work: elucidation of the geological structure, manifestations of magmatism, geodynamics and metallogeny of one of the largest segments of the paleocontinental sector of the Lyapin megablock in the Urals. The peculiarity of the metallogenic specialization of the latter for uranium, thorium, rare metals, gold, optical quartz caused both increased interest and contradictory ideas about its geology, composition of rock complexes, their age and genesis. Methodology of the work: generalization, analysis and synthesis of materials from long-term studies of the geology and metallogeny of the region, including experimental, methodological, thematic and geological survey work (GDP-200/2 sheets P-40-VI, P-40-XII) with the involvement of extensive literary sources. Results. For the first time, on the basis of the created formation map and the developed author’s legend of the territory, the geological structure is shown, the geological structure, geodynamic conditions of formation, metallogenic features of uneven-aged rock associations are shown. The Lyapinsky megablock, which corresponds to the Lyapinsky mineragenic zone, is a component of the West Ural megazone of the Ural Mineragenic Province, including the Mankhambovsky, Malopatoksky, Nyartinsky and Sаledsky ore nodes. In their history of development, four metallogenic epochs are distinguished: the Pre-Riphean, Riphean-Cambrian, Paleozoic and MesozoicCenozoic, specialized in noble, rare, radioactive, and non-ferrous metals, the largest objects of which include the Yasnoye, Narodnoye, Turman, Chudnoye, Sosnovoye, Telaizskoye, Torgovskoye, Turupinskoye, Kholodnoye, Kozhimskoye, and others. Conclusions. The results obtained indicate that along with a certain ore specialization of metallogenic epochs, an important factor affecting the ore content of the territory is the activated suture zones established in the course of research, in the areas where the largest ore objects, including stratiform and porphyry deposits, are localized, as well as unconventional objects of the “structural-stratigraphic disagreement” type.

In the Republic of Moldova the defeat of bushes with a disease of phytoplasmic eti-ology – Bois noir occurs everywhere. The article discusses and analyzes the factors contributing to the spread of this disease on grapevine plantations. This process is facilitated by plants-reserves of phyto-plasm, leafhoppers-carriers and changes in climatic conditions. As a result of the stud-ies carried out, plants reserves of phyto-plasma Bois noir were identified: Convol-vulus arvensis L., Fallópia convólvulus L., Chenopodium bonus-henricus L., Rosa L., Ulmus L. Long-term studies have shown that the destruction of weeds on the plan-tation leads to the removal of infection res-ervoir plants and the larvae of the leafhop-per-vector feeding on weeds on the roots. Therefore, systematic soil cultivation in the fight against weeds is an agricultural tech-nique that prevents the spread of Bois noir.
