According to some researches, in the daily management work, statistical management work, as one of the important basic tasks, is conducive to helping relevant departments to effectively understand and grasp the real level of people’s daily life, and has important guiding significance for the development and implementation of related work. In recent years, driven by economic development, great changes have taken place in informatization level and interest pattern. Based on this, the investigation objects and data information involved in statistical work are becoming increasingly complex, which leads to a substantial increase in the difficulty of statistical work in China, and then puts forward higher demands for the professional ability of statistical departments. In this article, the statistical management system in China under the new situation is taken as the breakthrough point, and the shortcomings in the statistical management system are deeply explored and analyzed. At the same time, the corresponding improvement suggestions are put forward, aiming at further improving and perfecting the statistical management system, to lay a solid foundation and guarantee for the further development and prosperity of China’s economic and cultural work.

When climatic changes are taken into account in forestry management, the question arises of the choice of tree species in order to adapt the forests to increased temperatures and stress arising from lack of water. The oak could be the main species accommodating itself to the new situation up to an altitude of about 900 m. A maximal development of this genetic inheritance adapted to our soils and the reinstallation of a network of oak forests would in fact give a new boost to the exceptional biodiversity linked to this species. In canton Vaud, the application of a sylviculture favourable to the oak would concern a relatively small and reasonable area of approximately 8,000 hectares, which corresponds to less than 20% of the surface theoretically adapted to this species, with a rhythm of rejuvenation of about 40 hectares a year.

Markets are interlinked in the sense that the organization of one market affects the functioning of other markets. Sellers whose sales are affected by shortcomings in another market may try to reorganize that market. In this chapter, the phenomenon of market organization across market borders is illustrated through empirical examples of how businesses in side markets such as the hotel, train, boat, and air travel markets have become active organizers of the Swedish taxi market. The Swedish state ‘deregulated’ taxi services, abolishing several organizational elements. The new situation led to severe problems for sellers in other markets who intervened and succeeded in increasing the degree of organization substantially, differently in different local markets. The taxi market is now as organized as it was prior to the ‘deregulation’, but in a different way and with different organizers.

The computer has revolutionized the use of statistical techniques in social science research. In recent years microcomputers have begun to replace large mainframe computers in such applications as word processing, accounting and data base management. While the use of microcomputers as statistical processors is still in its infancy, and existing software leaves a lot to be desired, the economics and convenience of statistical work on microcomputers point to an increasing role for micros in this area. This article will survey the costs and benefits of doing statistical work with microcomputers. It is not a discussion of individual statistical programs but instead focuses on the general issues of what you need and what you can expect to do.
