Kata kunci : Open-Ended Problem, Kemampuan Berpikir Kreatif, Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah This research was aimed to explain how the effectiveness of using the open-ended problem model on creative thinking skills and problem solving abilities. The type of this research was Pre Experimental Design with one group pretest posttest design. The results showed that there was a significant effect on creative thinking skills (tcount = 31.47 which is greater than ttable = 1.69) and students' problem solving abilities (tcount = 4, 95 which is greater than ttable = 1.69), who were taught to use the open-ended problem model for creative thinking ability variables and problem solving ability variables. With the results of the N-gain test of 0.74 for the creative thinking skills and 0.63 for the N-gain test on problem solving abilities, it can be concluded that the open-ended problem model is effectively applied to creative thinking skills and students' problem solving abilities. Keywords: Open-Ended Problem, Creative Thinking Skills, Problem Solving Ability

Human anatomy is a science to study the normal human body shape and structure. It is an important basic medical course, and closely related to various medical disciplines, especially to clinical medicine. Under the concept of comprehensive quality education, anatomy teachers should not only impart theoretical knowledge and professional skills, but also pay attention to the cultivation of students’ clinical thinking ability, so as to lay a solid foundation for students’ subsequent professional study and clinical practice. This paper focuses on the training of clinical thinking in human anatomy teaching.

The effectiveness of hypertext media in improving graph interpretation ability is investigated in this paper. In addition, joint ability of the formal thinking to improve the graph ability of prospective students is considered. The research design used is the one-group pretest-posttest experimental design is carried out in the research by taking 36 students on from Physics Education Program in one institute for teacher education in Medan. The test consists of graph interpretation ability test in the topic of kinematics and Test of Logical Thinking (TOLT or formal thinking) before learning and graph interpretation ability test after learning. The data are then analysed by using SPSS based two ways Analisys of Variance (ANOVA) method. The results show that the ability to interpretate graph is significantly improved by using hypertext media assisted kinematic learning.

Based on the results of the literature studies showed that the implementation of teacher-centered learning model is still frequently performed and causes a lower analytical thinking ability and scientific attitude of students, so it is necessary to develop. Inquiry-based learning can be implemented through the application of learning models IDAE so expect the analytical thinking ability and scientific attitude of students can be increased. This study aims to determine the effects of the IDAE learning model to analytical thinking ability and scientific attitude of students in science teaching in the junior high class VII in the materials of heat. The design of this study is Pre Experimental Design by using one group pre-test and post-test. Data collected by test method for analytical thinking ability , questionnaires and observations for scientific attitude. The results showed that the implementation of learning models IDAE have a positive and significant influence but it is included in the low criteria for analytical thinking ability and scientific attitude of students.

Abstract Background: The STEM education philosophy aims to incorporate the core content of the STEM field into a real and attractive problem scenario, using problem-driven and student-centered teaching methods to support students' multidisciplinary content integration learning and help students master the practice skills which coincide with the training of nursing students' clinical thinking ability. The STEM education concept not only enables nursing students to translate their previous knowledge and skills into the real nursing situation, but also develops students' critical thinking skills, thereby improving the ability to solve clinical nursing problems. Methods: Based on the STEM education concept, this paper constructs the design of nursing clinical thinking training course for nursing undergraduate nursing, including six teaching parts: writing teaching case, group discussion, teacher commentary, student mutual evaluation, heuristic guidance and case scenario simulation. Results: Clinical thinking training teaching model based on STEM education concept may be able to cultivate critical thinking ability of nursing undergraduate students. Conclusions: To construct nursing clinical thinking training teaching model based on STEM education concept, in order to cultivate critical thinking ability and realize knowledge transfer through STEM curriculum education.
