The paper deals with comparison and verification of two standard methods for measuring the total acid number of used oils. This is a tribodiagnostic method used to the detection of important quality parameters of oils in service, which determine the degradation of oil filling. This significantly affects the life cycle of oil and, consequently, the lubrication system. The methods for measuring aircraft motor and insulating oils are compared. The method procedures, preparation titration solutions, solvents, through the use of the test sample and electrodes to the accuracy of the measurement on the sample oils are compared. It compares the process of preparation methods of titrating solution, solvents, samples and fills through the use of electrodes to the accuracy of the measurement on the sample oils. From measurements of the samples accuracy and validity of both methods using statistical processing of measurement results is calculated. It utilizes internal control of measurements by means of an internal standard and also inter-laboratory comparison of measurement results.

Information technology and modeling are becoming more widely used, mainly in the design and operation of buildings and structures, and in most cases this is enough for trouble-free operation. Nev-ertheless, there is a category of buildings for which the monitoring of the technical condition should be an integral part of the construction and operation. Unfortunately, the development of these technolo-gies in the Russian Federation is not at level, sufficient for answering questions about the behavior of objects under changing environmental conditions and revealing hidden patterns in monitoring data. Based on analysis of literary sources, the authors reviewed various methods for identifying hidden patterns in geodetic measurement data when monitoring buildings and structures. It is noted that mod-ern analysis methods are based on statistical processing of measurement results and on statistical fore-casting method. However, there are attempts to apply models that take into account object’s design features and temperature regime. This type includes two proposed models, which are used to model three-dimensional coordinates of strain marks in the 3D model and only elevations of marks in the 1–Z model. The article presents the rationale for the simulated geometric elements and properties of the object. The solution of the equations of both models and the analysis of the results and parameters of the model for measurement epochs are shown. The simulation is shown on the example of a real ob-ject, which was monitored by the authors in 2015–2016.The authors believe that the monitoring of large-span structures and the search for patterns of their behavior should be an integral part of the in-formation system for such structures.

Одной из основных погрешностей турбинных расходомеров является изменение коэффициента преобразования, который зависит от множества факторов. Авторами проведены экспериментальные исследования с целью установления влияния вязкости и температуры нефти на изменение коэффициента преобразования турбинных преобразователей расхода (ТПР) типа MVTM. В рамках работы выполнен анализ составляющих погрешности, рассмотрен вопрос статистической обработки результатов измерений методами теории вероятности и математической статистики. По результатам исследований с использованием трех расходомеров установлено изменение коэффициента преобразования в диапазоне от 0,2 до 0,3 %. Подтверждено, что изменение температуры и вязкости нефти оказывает существенное влияние на точность измерений, проводимых с помощью ТПР типа MVTM. Результаты работы могут быть применены с целью совершенствования методов измерения массы нефти при учетных операциях с использованием СИКН в части создания новых алгоритмов коррекции величины коэффициента преобразования для стабилизации метрологических характеристик ТПР в межповерочном интервале и, как следствие, минимизации финансовых и временных затрат на проведение внеочередных поверок. One of the main errors of turbine flow meters is the change in the conversion coefficient, which depends on many factors. The authors carried out experimental researches in order to establish the influence of oil viscosity and temperature on the change in the conversion coefficient of MVTM type turbine flow converters (TFC). Within the framework of the research, the analysis of the components of the error was carried out, the issue of statistical processing of measurement results by methods of probability theory and mathematical statistics was considered. According to the results of researches using three flow meters, a change in the conversion coefficient in the range from 0.2 to 0.3 % was established. It is confirmed that changes in oil temperature and viscosity have a significant impact on the accuracy of measurements carried out with the MVTM type TFC. The results of the work can be applied to improve the methods of measuring the mass of oil during metering operations with the use of CQCS in terms of creating new algorithms for the correction of the conversion coefficient value to stabilize the metrological characteristics of TFC in the calibration interval and, consequently, minimizing the financial and time costs of conducting unscheduled verifications.

Abstract An assessment of road surface conditions is needed to determine an appropriate road evaluation program. One of the parameters used is the International Roughness Index or IRI. Currently, technological developments encourage the use of smartphone applications as a tool to determine the value of IRI. Comparisons between IRIs obtained using tools, such as roughometers, and IRIs obtained from software applications have not been made. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the results of the measurement of the roughometer and the results of the Android application Roadbump Pro. This research was carried out on the Sam Ratulangi Road in Palu City, with a segment length of 600 meters and analyzed per 100 meters. The results of this study indicate that smartphone applications provide good IRI measurement results, so they can be used in road stability assessments. In addition, the type of survey vehicle did not have a significant effect on IRI measurements. Keywords: smartphone, International Roughness Index, roughometer, Roadbump, road stability  Abstrak Penilaian kondisi permukaan jalan diperlukan untuk menentukan program evaluasi jalan yang tepat. Salah satu parameter yang digunakan adalah International Roughness Index atau IRI. Saat ini, perkembangan teknologi mendorong penggunaan aplikasi smartphone sebagai alat bantu untuk menentukan nilai IRI. Perbandingan antara IRI yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan alat bantu, seperti roughometer, dan IRI yang diperoleh dari aplikasi perangkat lunak belum dilakukan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis hubungan antara hasil pengukuran alat roughometer dan hasil aplikasi android Roadbump Pro. Penelitian ini dilakukan di ruas Jalan Sam Ratulangi di Kota Palu, dengan panjang segmen 600 meter dan dianalisis per 100 meter. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi smartphone memberikan hasil pengukuran IRI yang baik, sehingga dapat digunakan dalam penilaian kemantapan jalan. Selain itu, jenis kendaraan survei tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap pengukuran IRI. Kata-kata kunci: smartphone, International Roughness Index, roughometer, Roadbump, kemantapan jalan

The paper presents the results of the studies of the probability of a “flip” of the approximating function when processing the measurement results under conditions of a priori uncertainty about the signal function and the statistical characteristics of additive noise. It is analytically proved that the confidence intervals of the probability of the absence and the presence of a “flip” are equal, which is confirmed by the experimental results. The dependences of the “flipping” of the approximating function on the sample length, the dispersion of additive noise and the rate of change of the function itself are obtained.

Measuring instruments that implement the pneumatic principle of measurement, have a number of significant advantages: small dimensions of the measuring equipment, allowing to produce multiparameter control in a limited size of the working area, insensitivity to vibration, simplicity of design and reliability. The disadvantage of pneumatic converters is a discrete output electrical signal, which does not allow the processing of measurement results. In this regard, it seems appropriate to investigate the pneumatic-electric Converter, which includes a jet pneumatic and differential strain gauges, which allows to obtain an analog electrical signal at the output. The article describes the design and principle of operation pneumoenteritis Converter to control the diameter of the part. Pneumotensometric Converter converts the change in the diameter of the part in the movement of the nozzle, which causes a change in the force of the air jet on the beam, its deformation and, accordingly, a change in the resistance of he strain gauge. An expression describing the stoic characteristic of the transducer and allowing to determine the force of the air jet impact on the load cell from the gap between the nozzle and the beam, the air pressure and the nozzle diameter is given. The results of modeling the static characteristics of the Converter at different combinations of design parameters are given, the values of straight sections of characteristics and sensitivity are determined, their comparative evaluation is given.

Contemporary empirical researches on the object, which is combustion engine, are processed basing on the theory of experiment. Available software applications to analyze the experimental data commonly use the multiple regression models, which enables studying effects and interactions between input values of the model and single output variable. Using multi-equation models gives free hand at analyzing measurement results because it enables analysis of effects and interaction of many output variables. It also allows analysis of the measurement results during dynamic process. In this paper author presents advantages of using the multidimensional regression model on example of researches conducted on engine test stand.
