KRATAK OSVRT NA HAŠKU KONVENCIJU O PRIZNANjU I IZVRŠENjU STRANIH SUDSKIH ODLUKA U GRAĐANSKIM ILI TRGOVAČKIM STVARIMA IZ 2019. GODINE

In this paper author briefly analyzes certain provisions of Hague Convention of 2 July 2019 on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters, aiming to explain the regime of recognition and enforcement which is established by this convention and to make a point to the flexibility of this convention which may have a strong influence on a number of states worldwide (including Serbia) to accept it. Having this in mind, the author provides brief presentation and analysis of provisions of HCCH 2019 Judgments Convention which regulate material scope of application, eligibility of judgment for recognition and enforcement, grounds for refusal of recognition and enforcement, procedure, giving the notification with regard to the limitation of application of the HCCH 2019 Judgments Convention as well as relationship between this convention and other international instruments.

Perception of Central Asia in selected currents of contemporary Russian socio-political thought

In this paper author examines the perception of Central Asia by contemporary Russian thinkers and scientists: “neo-Slavophiles”, “Eurasians” and “Westernizers”. Author established the existence of significant differences between three groups of experts in the assessment of Russia’s foreign policy in relation to Central Asian states. This conclusion applies equally to the attitude of selected Russian scientists concerning China, as well as to Russia’s prospects in the region.

Content-aware data distribution over cluster nodes

Proper data items distribution may seriously improve the performance of data processing in distributed environment. However, typical datastorage systems as well as distributed computational frameworks do not pay special attention to that aspect. In this paper author introduces two custom data items addressing methods for distributed datastorage on the example of Scalable Distributed Two-Layer Datastore. The basic idea of those methods is to preserve that data items stored on the same cluster node are similar to each other following concepts of data clustering. Still, most of the data clustering mechanisms have serious problem with data scalability which is a severe limitation in Big Data applications. The proposed methods allow to efficiently distribute data set over a set of buckets. As it was shown by the experimental results, all proposed methods generate good results efficiently in comparison to traditional clustering techniques like k-means, agglomerative and birch clustering. Distributed environment experiments shown that proper data distribution can seriously improve the effectiveness of Big Data processing.

Experimental Evalutionof Tensile Strenght of Cryogenically Solidified Aluminium Based Metal Matrix Composites (MMC)

Present technology demanded high strength lightweight material which offers good mechanical property and light in weight. Metal matrix composite is one popular type of such material. In this research authors, aluminum is reinforced to increase its properties like hardness, strength, elastic stiffness to suits the needs to design. Aluminum of grade LM13, which is light material reinforced with boron carbide to improves mechanical properties like strength hardness and elastic properties. In this paper author experimentally evaluate the mechanical properties of Aluminium LM13. The weight percentage of boron carbide by varying with a range of 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%. An improved property of MMC makes them useful in different areas like aerospace and automotive industries. The microstructure of developed material has been reported in this paper.

ON IMPORTANCE OF JUDICIAL AND INSPECTION BODIES IN FORMATION OF THE STATE SECURITY FUNCTION

In this paper author underlined the importance of judicial and inspection bodies in formation of the capacity of security of modern state. It is known that the judiciary bodies have a very important role in protection of the constitutionality and legality of the state, because successful functioning of judicial system significantly contributes to formation of the capacity of security. It is very important that within the process of their own functioning the judicial authorities cooperate with the state security system. In certain situations functioning of the judicial system must be coordinated with the functioning of the security system, because neither the court nor the prosecutor’s office can solve the problems without the facts that they may find only in cooperation with the modern state security bodies. Such cooperation is necessary also in case of prevention function, because the judiciary bodies of the modern states also have a preventive role. In addition, the inspection services also significantly contribute to raising of the security system to a higher level by supervision of proper implementation and compliance to the law by citizens, working organizations and other kind of organizations. This supervision is exercised through inspections which function on all levels and have general and special authority powers.
