This article discusses the determination of the optimal design allowances for a full factorial experiment in the development of special-purpose clothing for patients with thermal injuries in a hospital. To assess the ergonomic performance of special-purpose clothing, was used of pressure exerted by clothing on the human body. Based on the results of the study, a mathematical model was developed based on a full factorial experiment. In accordance with the presented mathematical models, the minimum values of contact pressures are obtained for the following values of construction parameters: for a cut with a sewn-in sleeve Warmhole = 15 cm, Ifa = 5,0 cm, Ic = 9 cm, Hse = 10 cm; for a cut with a raglan sleeve Warmhole = 15 cm, Ifa = 6 cm, Ic = 10 cm; for a cut with a one-piece sleeve Warmhole = 16 cm, Ifa = 6 cm, Ic = 11 cm.

Purpose. The aim of this work is to develop a mathematical model of the generalized diagnostic indicator of the technical state of traction substations electrical equipment. Methodology. The main tenets of the experiment planning theory, methods of structural-functional and multi-factor analysis, methods of mathematical and numerical modeling have been used to solve the set tasks. Results. To obtain the mathematical model of the generalized diagnostic indicator, a full factorial experiment for DC circuit breaker have been conducted. The plan of the experiment and factors affecting the change of the unit technical condition have been selected. The regression equation in variables coded values and the polynomial mathematical model of the generalized diagnostic indicator of the circuit breaker technical condition have been obtained. On the basis of regression equation analysis the character of influence of circuit breaker diagnostic indicators values on generalized diagnostic indicator changes has been defined. As a result of repeated performances of the full factorial experiment the mathematical models for other types of traction substations power equipment have been obtained. Originality. An improved theoretical approach to the construction of generalized diagnostic indicators mathematical models for main types of traction substations electric equipment with using the methods of experiments planning theory has been suggested. Practical value. The obtained polynomial mathematical models of the generalized diagnostic indicator D can be used for constructing the automated system of monitoring and forecasting of the traction substations equipment technical condition, which allows improving the performance of processing the diagnostic information and ensuring the accuracy of the diagnosis. Analysing and forecasting the electrical equipment technical condition with the using of mathematical models of generalized diagnostic indicator changes process allows constructing the optimal strategy of maintenance and repair based on the actual technical condition of the electrical equipment. This will reduce material and financial costs of maintenance and repair work as well as the equipment downtime caused by planned inspections and repair improving reliability and uptime of electrical equipment.

In many cases in practice an experimenter has some prior knowledge of indefinite validity concerning the main effects and interactions which would be estimable from a two-level full factorial experiment. Such information should be incorporated into the design of the experiment.

The issues of the consistency of the steering kinematics with the suspension kinematics of the modernized wheeled vehicle are considered. The influence of the geometric and kinematic parameters of the steering gear is analyzed. The results of a full factorial experiment with the determination of the rational parameters of the steering gear and the suspension are presented. Keywords: steering gear, consistency, longitudinal thrust, leaf spring suspension, controllability, vector of closed contours. [email protected]

The work is dedicated to the effects of climatic factors on polyethylene terephthalate (PET) in terms of changes in the structure and interaction of polymer molecules. The kinetic concept of the strength of PET has been developed, and the factors influencing the strength have been considered. Effects of moisture, thermal oxidative destruction, and UV-radiation on the structure of PET have been investigated. Polymers’ properties predicting, durability and their computer modeling have been analyzed. A model of changes in PET properties under the influence of temperature, moisture and UV-radiation was constructed using the methods of a full factorial experiment. It has been shown that in the initial period of exposure, adsorption and diffusion of moisture, hydrolysis and surface oxidation occur; prolonged and constant exposure to UV-radiation break the bonds formed by moisture, then the C–C and C–O bonds in the PET molecule brake and new intermolecular bonds are formed. In the amorphous state of PET, the breaking of bonds in the polymer chain and the formation of bonds between two adjacent polymer chains, the formation of more densely packed nodes, the destruction of the polymer and its aging, are equally probable. Temperature has a secondary effect, facilitating both hydrolysis and oxidation and polymer degradation.

The effect of pressure, temperature and time during direct pressing on the strength and optical characteristics of adhesive plasticized polyvinyl butyral films is studied. A mathematical analysis of the results of a full factorial experiment is carried out and the regression equations are derived.

Working conditions in engineering operations are often characterized by a complex of negative factors, which at every moment load the human body during the active work with various intensity. Determination of the intensity of the workload is important for creation of workplace comfort, which is closely connected to workers’ contentment. The contribution presents a description and application of a mathematical model for determination of the workers´ complex loading at forging press workplace. It's a new and human way of evaluating work comfort, which can take into account the summary effect of all the negative factors at the workplace.
