For control and regulation of hydraulic systems, especially, oil pumping stations, automatic pressure control systems (APCS) are used. Using it, the monitoring, controlling, and adjusting the operation of technological equipment, optimization of modes, and other tasks that require direct human participation become possible. The operator (or dispatcher) interacts with the system via a human-machine interface. The monitoring system includes programs for collecting, processing, displaying, and archiving information about the object of observation and control. Well-suited and being put to the right user interface design promotes not only the effective interaction of the operator with the system in normal conditions but also prevents errors and helps to find a solution in a dangerous or emergency swiftly. This paper presents a software package designed for real-time monitoring and regulation of pipeline operation. A system simulation model is provided for the teaching and training of site personnel.

The reforms in the communications monitoring system as part of the wider reform of the security services in the Republic of Macedonia, resulted with creation of a package of several laws whose adoption was supposed to provide the legislative basis for a system that would really work in accordance with the goals for which it was established. The communications monitoring system should provide a balanced protection of the right to security, on the one hand, and the right to privacy, on the other. Only on that way a priori primacy of the right to security over the right to privacy will it be disabled. Hence, the reforms in communications monitoring system are a precondition for the effective protection, primarily for the right to privacy and the secrecy of communications, but also for the right to personal data protection, the inviolability of the home as well as for the right to presumption of innocence. It is a complex and delicate matter where opening of a real debate through which the present deficiencies will be perceived in order to create an appropriate legal solutions was very important. However, the new Law on Interception of Communications as the most important in this area, retained a certain part of the provisions that were debatable in the previous legal solutions. The provisions regarding the model for interception of communications, which stipulates the establishment of a separate agency that mediates between the operators and the authorized bodies for interception of communications, were questionable as well. Also, new measures for monitoring communications in the interest of security and defense, as well as the provisions which regulate the disposition and delivery of metadata for security and defense, are also debatable. On the other side, the reform laws made an evident progress in a positive sense through the provisions for oversight and control over the interception of communications. With these changes, certain debatable elements have been overcome, especially those that have hindered it so far, and in some cases completely paralyzed the oversight and control over the monitoring of communications. In this paper we analyzed the debatable elements in the reform package of laws on interception of communications as well as some positive aspects contained in the provisions of the reform laws.

So far, there are coaches who are less precise in determining the ideal position of the player as it only relies on instinct and the ego of the players so that there is still a coach who has not been able to objectively assess the players.By utilizing the method of Genetic Algorithm as Decision Support System (DSS) in the process of determining the ideal position of a player who uses several criteria (multicriteria) to choose a proper player. DSS is helping coach in making the right decisions and Genetic Algorithm is used as a model for multicriteria weighting in the selection process. This application was built with tools Borland Delphi (7.0) as the user interface design and media processing PostgreSQL as its database. Based on these results we can conclude that this application expected to assist the coaches in the decision making process and can change the appraisal of which are subjective to more objective, to determine the ideal position for a player, can determine the best position of each position of a number of players and the expected results of the Genetic Algorithm on the system constructed in accordance with the results of manual calculations.

Software design and its engineering is essential for bioinformatics software impact. We propose a new approach ‘Butterfly’, for the betterment of modeling of scientific software solutions by targeting key developmental points: intuitive, graphical user interface design, stable methodical implementation and comprehensive output presentation. The focus of research was to address following three key points: 1) differences and different challenges required to change from traditional to scientific software engineering, 2) scientific software solution development needs feedback and control loops following basic engineering principles for implementation and 3) software design with new approach which helps in developing and implementing a comprehensive scientific software solution. We validated the approach by comparing old and new bioinformatics software solutions. Moreover, we have successfully applied our approach in the design and engineering of different well applied and published Bioinformatics and Neuroinformatics tools including DroLIGHT, LS-MIDA, Isotopo, Ant-App-DB, GenomeVX and Lipid-Pro.

Mobile Tole Playing Games (RPGs) are now very popular in gaming market. Still, we have great constraint in hardware provided such as screen size and interaction speed. Adopting techniques such as auto play enables the game designers to weaken the burdens of porting RPG scales to mobile platform. However, the interface design in mobile platform becomes quite different from PC based platform. In this paper, we investigate how user interface functionalities are provided for popular mobile RPGs based on google play downloaded between the year of 2014 and 2016. We analyze the commonalities and the differences of recent successful mobile RPGs first and take a user survey with heuristics. In result, subjects who are 16 ~ 25 in age weakly accept current interface layout and control as over 70% positive rate in 4 point Likert scale test.

Abstract Pressure control have been going through steps of evolution. In the highlight of safety, reliability and control, the systems have been sturdy withstanding massive pressure and environmental impact to last the time of estimated life of well. Design have been emphasizing on sturdiness rather than intelligence and autonomy. Time moves on, sophistication levels rise in all parts of our industry. Sustainability and lower environmental impact of solutions grow from the young into business planning and democratic policies. Control lines of hydraulic systems posed risks to the environment as well as being costly in structure and maintenance. Condition monitoring helped ensure better maintenance planning and lowered the risk of breakdown, but still left a lot to be desired reaching for self-contained, self learning systems with low installation and maintenance costs, yet the safest approach. The next steps were taken towards electrification and digitization of pressure control systems, making short and undetermined strides over almost two decades. Still, the standards are not following the pace of technological progress. And when someone dares to pilot or demonstrate modern technology applied, the installations and operational procedures of the systems still need expensive distributed lines of power, of signals and control systems to ensure a swift and safe operation. The fly-by-wire principle applied in oil & gas is the operate-by-costly-technology-and-environmental-impact-lines. With the introduction of new and breaking technology in energy harvesting and storage, the playing field opens up towards fully automated systems with no need for expensive power lines or hydraulic control lines. The safety will be taken care of also off-grid, fully digitized. Should cabling of instrument signals be damaged, the system of tomorrow will still be up to par with the Safety Integrity Levels needed. New super-capacitors with an extra dense storage capacity being developed in partnership between the industry and the University of southeast Norway combined with an extremely low energy consuming actuation system with the fastest failsafe mechanism ever will ensure safety in all modes of operation, even with all lines down or consumed by flames. The paper aims to show how the technology works and underline why it will take a place in the future of well control and production.
