Представлены результаты численного моделирования взаимодействия аккреционных дисков при прохождении периастра в двойной звезде типа Т Тельца с эллиптичной орбитой. Рассмотрена структура системы ударных волн в аккреционных дисках и между ними и ее изменение с течением времени. Обсуждается возможность построения аналитической модели взаимодействия аккреционных дисков. We present the results of numerical simulation of interacting accretion disks in a T Tauri type binary with elliptic orbit. Using these results we study structure and evolution of the system of shock waves in accretion disks and between them. Finally we discuss the possibility of bringing up an analytical model for accretion disk interaction.

AbstractThis paper investigates the tidal effect on accretion disk in CVs and sets up a simplified model in which the secondary’s gravitation is substituted by a mean tidal torque. We find that a linear tidal torque will not be able to maintain an equilibrium disk. By using the result of the radius of the equilibrium disk approximately equals to the tidal radius, which was obtained by using the two dimensional numerical simulation invoking nonlinear tidal effect, we give the modified tidal dissipation function for our simplified model which could be used to interpret the outburst of the dwarf nova with tidal effect. The paper also shows that the radius of an equilibrium disk with a torus is slightly small than the Lubow-Shu radius, and the tidal effect may also cause the cycle of quiescence-superoutburst in addition to the cycle of quiescence-outbursts-superoutburst.

AbstractThe influences of loose gas on gas-solid flows in a large-scale circulating fluidized bed (CFB) gasification reactor were investigated using full-loop numerical simulation. The two-fluid model was coupled with the QC-energy minimization in multi-scale theory (EMMS) gas-solid drag model to simulate the fluidization in the CFB reactor. Effects of the loose gas flow rate, Q, on the solid mass circulation rate and the cyclone separation efficiency were analyzed. The study found different effects depending on Q: First, the particles in the loop seal and the standpipe tended to become more densely packed with decreasing loose gas flow rate, leading to the reduction in the overall circulation rate. The minimum Q that can affect the solid mass circulation rate is about 2.5% of the fluidized gas flow rate. Second, the sealing gas capability of the particles is enhanced as the loose gas flow rate decreases, which reduces the gas leakage into the cyclones and improves their separation efficiency. The best loose gas flow rates are equal to 2.5% of the fluidized gas flow rate at the various supply positions. In addition, the cyclone separation efficiency is correlated with the gas leakage to predict the separation efficiency during industrial operation.

We investigate the special cases of the formation of shocks in the accretion disks around the nonrotating (Schwarzschild) black holes in cases where one or few stars perturb the disk. We model the structure of disk with a 2D fully general relativistic hydrodynamic code and investigate a variety of cases in which the stars interacting with the disk are captured at various locations. We have found the following results: (1) if the stars perturb the disk at nonsymmetric locations, a moving one-armed spiral shock wave is produced and it destroys the disk eventually; (2) if the disk is perturbed by a single star located close to the black hole, a standing shock wave is produced while the disk becomes an accretion tori; (3) if the disk is perturbed by stars at symmetric locations, moving two-armed spiral shock waves are produced while the disk reaches a steady state; (4) continuous injection of matter into the stable disk produces a standing shock wave behind the black hole. Our outcomes reinforce the view that different perturbations on the stable accretion disk carry out different types of shock waves which produce Quasi-Periodic Oscillation (QPO) phenomena in galactic black hole candidates and it is observed as a X-ray.

In this paper, we Research on Propagation Numerical Simulation and damage effect of Blast Shock Waves in Subway Station by using LS-DYNA dynamic finite element calculation program , the results reproduce the formation process of the explosive flow field, and analysis the shock wave waveform, attenuation and walking pattern, provides the theoretical basis for further experimental study.

Проведено численное исследование нестационарного турбулентного сверхзвукового течения в камере сгорания прямоточного воздушно-реактивного двигателя. Описана методика экспериментального измерения температуры на стенке осесимметричного канала в камере сгорания двигателя. Математическое моделирование обтекания исследуемой модели двигателя проводилось для скоростей набегающего потока M = 5 ... 7. Начальные и граничные условия задачи соответствовали реальному аэродинамическому эксперименту. Проанализированы результаты численного расчета. Рассмотрено изменение распределения температуры вдоль стенки канала с течением времени. Проведена оценка согласованности полученных экспериментальных данных с результатами математического моделирования. Purpose. The aim of this study is a numerical simulation of unsteady supersonic gas flow in a working path of ramjet engine under conditions identical to aerodynamic tests. Free stream velocity corresponding to Mach numbers M=5 ... 7 are considered. Methodology. Presented study addresses the methods of physical and numerical simulation. The probing device for thermometric that allows to recording the temperature values along the wall of internal duct was proposed. To describe the motion of a viscous heat-conducting gas the unsteady Reynolds averaged Navier - Stokes equations are considered. The flow turbulence is accounted by the modified SST model. The problem was solved in ANSYS Fluent using finite-volume method. The initial and boundary conditions for unsteady calculation are set according to conditions of real aerodynamic tests. The coupled heat transfer for supersonic flow and elements of ramjet engine model are realized by setting of thermophysical properties of materials. The reliability testing of numerical simulation has been made to compare the results of calculations and the data of thermometric experimental tests. Findings. Numerical simulation of aerodynamic tests for ramjet engine was carried out. The agreement between the results of numerical calculations and experimental measurements for the velocity in the channel under consideration was obtained; the error was shown to be 2%. The temperature values were obtained in the area of contact of the supersonic flow with the surface of the measuring device for the external incident flow velocities for Mach numbers M = 5 ... 7. The process of heating the material in the channel that simulated the section of the engine combustion chamber was analyzed. The temperature distribution was studied depending on the position of the material layer under consideration relative to the contact zone with the flow. Value. In the course of the work, the fields of flow around the model of a ramjet engine were obtained, including the region of supersonic flow in the inner part of axisymmetric channel. The analysis of the temperature fields showed that to improve the quality of the results, it is necessary to take into account the depth of the calorimetric sensor. The obtained results will be used to estimate the time of interaction of the supersonic flow with the fuel surface required to reach the combustion temperature.

A single-stage transonic centrifugal compressor with a pressure ratio greater than six was tested in a closed loop with HFC134a gas. Flow at the inducer of a rotating impeller as well as flow in a stationary low-solidity cascade diffuser was measured using a double-pulse and double-frame particle image velocimetry (PIV). Shock waves in both flows were clearly observed. The effect of flow rate on a 3D configuration of shock wave at the inducer and a so-called rotor-stator interaction between a rotating impeller and a stationary cascade were discussed based on a phase-averaged measurement technique. Furthermore, the unsteadiness of inducer shock wave and the flow in a cascade diffuser during surge were discussed based on instantaneous velocity vector maps.
