The rise of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems has been a major event in the software industry and it became a solution for most enterprises to manage their data and business processes. Successful ERP implementations can reduce costs by improving efficiency then lead to improved company performance and better competitive edge. Despite these benefits and the age of ERP existing for several decades still high percentage of implementation failures are documented. ERP is packaged software designed by following the best practice from the specific industry to support typical business processes in the entire industrial field, it was designed by ERP vendors and used by the organization which implement it. Since the designer and user are two independent entity misalignments between user’s needs and the software design are often happen. The misalignment define new specific requirements must be embedded into selected ERP. Requirement engineering (RE) is a main part and initial activity of software engineering concern about defines stakeholder requirements, needs and desire. Requirements engineering is the basis for efficient software implementation and quality management. Tools and theories which support RE in general are numerous nowadays; however, the task of providing a tools and theories that specializes in Requirements engineering for Enterprise resource planning systems has been addressed rarely. For that; this paper discusses modelling and verification of ERP functional requirements based on colored Petri nets (CPN) after evaluation of different Business process modelling techniques by using analytical hierarchy process (AHP). CPN considered one of powerful business process modelling techniques and using it help in stakeholder involvement and appropriate organization’s business process representation. The nature of colored Petri nets that help in verification of internal completeness and consistency of ERP functional requirements model.

The manufacturing industry applies the use of ERP to run corporate business processes, build good communication and improve service quality. This study aims to provide a Business Process Reengineering proposal to the sales department using the Odoo V12.0 so that the system can be integrated. The methodology used in this research is Business Process Reengineering, where the research only focuses on the sales field. Existing business processes, namely purchasing products, sales orders and invoicing manuall. Reengineering that has been carried out is the product sales process, the sales order process, and the payment process. Reengineering has been carried out quite well by using the User Acceptance Test method and obtaining agreed responses as the greatest value in every aspect. The results obtained are based on 5 categories, namely content items by 63%, module items by 53%, multimedia element items by 88%, navigation aspects by 70% and usability items by 82%. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, such as SAP, feature a rich set of integrated business applications. However, to maximize the long term benefits from ERP implementations, organizations need to careful manage the post-implementation phase and focus on supporting end users to achieve better fit between their business processes and the ERP system features. This study develops a research model based on the resource-based view (RBV) of the firm and finds support for a positive and complementary relationship between continuous training resources, functional fit capability and business process success. An increase in continuous training resources increases the functional fit capability for the organization and is seen to improve business process success. The results support the need to focus on continuous end user training throughout the post implementation phase as a key contributor to ERP systems success for any organization.

Although it has been more than a decade since the emergence of the concept of business processes, there is still a lack of common ground and agreement about their nature and context, their contribution and benefits to the contemporary business environment. This chapter ‘rediscovers' business processes in the sense that provides a critical review of the multiple definitions by different authors and constructs a schema with the main structural elements that constitute a business process. It also reviews the main modelling approaches and classifies them into three primary groups according to their diagrammatic, formal and execution capabilities. Lastly, the main business process patterns are identified and the main business process modelling techniques are compared based on their pattern support capabilities. The work presented rediscovers business processes by providing a holistic understanding that will lead to their standardisation and further development.

Covid 19 has become a pandemic that has hit all over the world. Almost all sectors are affected by this pandemic, not only in the health sector. The economic and industrial sectors have also suffered severe impacts due to the coronavirus pandemic. This spreading virus does not support economic growth either nationally or globally. Finally, it has an impact on various industrial sectors in the country, from manufacturing to finance. The industry was one of the largest contributors to Indonesia's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) last year. The contribution given from this industry to the 2019 GDP was recorded at 19.62%. Due to this pandemic, according to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), during February 2020, the importance of all categories of goods decreased compared to January 2020. This stunted industrial development was due to the government's appeal for social distancing; social distancing made it difficult for industry players to make transactions. Several obstacles require re-engineering of business processes in the industry. In general, the industry already has an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system used in the related production process. However, ERP does not enter into the realm of buying and selling or the process of procuring goods with consumers. Therefore we need a Business Process Reengineering as an engineering process to integrate the ERP and the bidding system or quotation system. Using the moving average method as a forecasting method, we can get sustainable sales even during the Covid period, even seen an increase in transactions in the new period, along with the implementation of the quotation information system applied in the re-engineering business process.

Business processes are designed to execute strategies that aim at achieving organisational goals. During the last decade, several methods have been proposed that prescribe the use of goal-oriented requirements engineering techniques for supporting different business process management activities, in particular business process modelling. The integration of goal modelling and business process modelling aims at increasing the alignment between business strategies and the processes with their supporting IT systems. This new research area, which the authors call Goal-Oriented Requirements Engineering for Business Processes (GORE-for-BP), is developing rapidly, but without a clear conceptualization of the focus and scope of the proposed GORE-for-BP methods. Furthermore, an overview is lacking of which methods exist and what their level of maturity is. This paper therefore presents a research review of the GORE-for-BP area, with the aim of identifying relevant methods and assessing their focus, scope, and maturity. This study used Systematic Literature Review and Method Meta-Modelling as research methods to identify and evaluate the state of the GORE-for-BP research area and to propose a research agenda for directing future research in the area. Nineteen methods were identified, which is an indication of an active research area. Although some similarities were found with respect to how goal models are transformed into business process models (or vice-versa), there is also considerable divergence in modelling languages used and the extent of coverage of typical requirements engineering and business process management lifecycle phases. Furthermore, the exploitation of requirements engineering techniques in the full business process management lifecycle is currently under researched. Also, the maturity of the methods found in terms of the formalisation of the transformation activity, the elaboration of method guidelines, and the extent to which methods are validated, can be further improved.

Most multi-national organizations in Kenya are adopting an entire suite of enterprise resource planning Software and customize them to fit the business processes. Despite the continued review of the enterprise resource planning suite, the realization of a successful enterprise resource planning implementation for multi-national organizations is becoming difficult, owing to user involvement issues. This research, therefore, addressed this by assessing the effect of user involvement on enterprise resource planning implementation for multi-national organizations in Kenya. The study used a descriptive research design, where it obtained a sample size of 70 respondents and selected the respondents from 85 subjects using stratified proportionate sampling. The data for the study was gathered from primary sources using a questionnaire. Data was evaluated using quantitative analysis to provide descriptive statistics accompanied by inferential analysis to estimate the model. Guided by the study findings, it was concluded that; there is a positive and significant relationship between users’ functional requirements activities and enterprise resource planning implementation; users’ presentation requirement activities positively significantly influence enterprise resource planning implementation, users’ quality assurance activities has a significant moderate influence on its enterprise resource planning implementation, and users’ project management activities have a significant moderate influence on enterprise resource planning implementation. The study recommends that these organizations should; develop users’ functional requirements activities policy, review policies on business processes to accommodate different system implementation practices; review current quality assurance activities by consumers to satisfy the planned enterprise resource planning system demand of the provider, and acquire as well as retain the appropriate users’ project management.

The significant change in the consumption pattern of Indonesia’s modernising society––further intensified by the Indonesian Government’s plan to push towards the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, has fostered the need for manufacturing companies to create newly automated processes and make the transition to become a digitalised business entity. Enterprise Resource Planning is a software that enables the creation of integration and automation of business processes between various departments within a company, thus creating an effective business strategy. The data that has been acquired from research at a poultry processing company are then being mapped into the ERP software of Odoo V12.0, therefore creating new sets of re-engineered business processes. There are seven newly proposed reengineering business processes––in which only concentrate on the production and technical department within the particular company, by utilising the manufacturing and maintenance modules. The re-engineered business processes are assessed using the Technology Acceptance Model theory, to measure its usability and practicality, which generates the score of Likert’s interpretation above the accepted standard of 1340 and 1227, for both the manufacturing and maintenance modules respectively.  Keywords: Business Process Reengineering, Enterprise Resource Planning, Manufacturing Process, Odoo, Technology Acceptance Model.

<p class="Abstract"><strong>Mc Cake is one of the business people in the food industry. Which was founded in Bekasi, West Java. Mc Cake has constraints and problems including the lack of a system that streamlines the time and division of job desk at the company. It also shows that the sales order business process has not been integrated with the sales system at Mc Cake. The process that is currently running from the sale transaction is still done manually.</strong></p><strong>                In this problem, the solution considered to be able to handle the problem is by applying the concept of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) using the Odoo application with a point of sales module, because the advantages that can be obtained are speed, accuracy, and relatively lower costs compared to other methods. . Odoo is a modular application which means it consists of separate modules but can be integrated with each other. The modules in Odoo include sales, purchase, accounting, point of sale, CRM and marketing. In addition, the business processes carried out on each Odoo module are best practices for the open source class and in general Odoo covers the business processes of MSME trading companies such as Mc Cake.</strong>

Context: With business process modelling, companies and organizations can gain explicit control over their processes. Currently, there are many notations in the area of business process modelling, where Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) is denoted as the de facto standard. Aims: The aim of this research is to provide the state-of-the-art results addressing the acceptance of BPMN, while also examining the purposes of its usage. Furthermore, the advantages, disadvantages and other interests related to BPMN were also investigated. Method: To achieve these objectives, a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and a semantic examination of articles? citations was conducted. Results: After completing SLR, out of a total of 852 articles, 31 were deemed relevant. The majority of the articles analyzed the notation and compared it with other modelling techniques. The remainder evaluated general aspects of the notation, e.g. history and versions of the standard, usage of the notation or tools. Conclusion: Our findings demonstrate that there are empirical insights about the level of BPMN acceptance. They suggest that BPMN is still widely perceived as the de facto standard in the process modelling domain and its usage is everincreasing. However, many studies report that only a limited set of elements are commonly used and to this end, several extensions were proposed. The main purpose of BPMN remains the description of business processes.
