Purpose -Response to the sudden pandemic, COVID-19 drastic shift of work practices requires the implementation of an e-learning system, but their adoption requires a thorough understanding of the user acceptance process. Our key effort is to incorporate a framework, “internet experience” to determine the existing Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) applicability in describing students’ s e-learning decisions in Haryana state. Design/methodology- The researcher has administered a questionnaire based on TAM’s constructs and collected data from UG and PG students of Haryana state of India. Findings – The results revealed that perceived usefulness (PU) has a significant positive relationship with continuous usage intention (CUI) whilst, perceived ease of use (PEOU), computer self-efficacy (CSE) and internet experience (IE) have not. Attitude towards E-learning system (ATELS) has found no relevance in this model. Originality/value Majority research has been done using the TAM model in a developed nation. Empirical study has not been done in Haryana state so far.

Education is needed by every individual and organization in improving the knowledge and skills of human resources to support organizational learning, and the learning process can be done in meetings in the classroom or online using IT, commonly known as e-learning. This research aims to identify the role of instructor readiness in supporting e-learning effectiveness and the influence of Support LMS content and IT Capability on perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use to support system acceptance and the success of e-learning. This research employs quantitative method. A questionnaire was distributed to 399 respondents and the unit of analysis is employees who have used the e-learning system of the corporate university. The results of the research can reveal the influence of the readiness of Instructor and Support LMS content on the application of e-learning and how e-learning is used as a learning media for interactions between learners with the instructor. The successful application of e-learning requires the instructor readiness, which includes the mastery of the technological and pedagogical aspects as a requirement of skill in teaching by using LMS. The successful implementation of elearning effectiveness is strongly influenced by attitude toward using LMS and employee perceptions of support content that can provide benefits and easy to use by participants that will influence the attitude of participants to learn with e-learning system in a corporate university of BUMN.

The study aimed at investigating the influence of E-learning Self- Efficacy (ELSE) on the acceptance of e-learning by using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). According to the TAM which used as the theoretical basis, both of the Perceived Usefulness (PU) and the Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU) influence directly the end user's Behavioral Intention (BI) to accept a technology. A survey was used to collect information about the perceptions of Al-Aqsa university students. Collected data was analyzed using the regression equation by SPSS. A structured questionnaire was used to obtain responses from (592) students who took the e-courses of the “instructional technology, research methods, measurement and evaluation”. The most significant results of the study showed that Al-Aqsa university students have high levels of acceptance and Self-Efficacy toward E-Learning representing a rate above 75%. Furthermore, there are positive and significant relationships between dependence and independence variables. However, the study found a significant relationship between finding ELSE, PEOU, PU and BI (Y= 1.2 +0.05ELSE+0.06PEOU+0.16PU+e, r = 0.65, P<0.01). Other relationships were found among variables such as ELSE, PEOU and PU (Y= 7.5 +0.11ELSE+0.21PEOU+e, r = 0.62, P<0.01), ELSE and PEOU (Y= 0.56 +0.242ELSE+e, r= 0.64, P<0.01).

The implementation of computer on-line English-language learning (COEL) (acronyms given in the Appendix) programs in business contexts remains an unexplored area in the computer assisted language learning literature. Moreover, while many studies have focused on learners’ first usage intentions in TAM (technical acceptance model), few have explored their intentions to continue using them. To address this lacuna, the authors propose a framework for COEL derived from a three-month empirical study of learners’ perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness (PU), perceived enjoyment (PENJ), attitudes towards corporate e-learning (ATT), intention (INT), technology satisfaction (SAT), and affective reaction (AR) regarding a COEL program implemented at a financial firm in Taiwan. An examination of the proposed two models revealed gaps between learners’ intention of first usage and re-usage of the COEL. Further analyses revealed a significant difference between groups of high intention learners to re-use the COEL and low intention learners to re-use the COEL. A second investigation determined eight factors that contributed to the differences between these two diverse groups of learners. This study’s findings shed light on the relationship between TAM model and factors related to COEL programs.

This study aims to analyze and provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of non-cash (digital) payments with the use attitude as an intervening variable. The population in this study was the Islamic Community of West Sumatra. The sampling method used in this research was a number of 100 West Sumatran people using quota sampling. Data processing with SmartPLS 3.0 shows the results show perceived benefit has a positive effect on non-cash payments (digital). The higher the perception of benefit, the higher the non-cash payment (digital). Perception of Ease has a positive effect on Non-Cash (Digital) Payments. The higher the perception of ease, the higher the non-cash payment (digital). And Perceptions of Benefit have a positive effect on User Attitudes. The higher the perceived usefulness, the higher the user's attitude. Then the Ease of Perception has a positive effect on User Attitudes. The higher the perception of Ease, the higher the User's Attitude. User Attitudes have a positive effect on Non-Cash (Digital) Payments. The higher the User Attitude, the higher the use of Digital Payments. The indirect effect is greater than the direct effect, so it can be said that the User Attitude variable is perceived as an intervening variable between the Perception of Benefit and Perception of Ease with the Non-Cash Payment (Digital) variable.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to investigate the determinants of e-learning adoption (ELA) among students in the University of Ghana. Design/methodology/approach – A quantitative research approach comprising of a survey of 337 students was adopted. Data were collected using questionnaires designed in conjunction with 13 factors (computer self-efficacy (CSE), perceived ease of use (PEOU), perceived usefulness (PU) and attitude towards use (ATTU)) in the conceptual model of the study. Data analysis was conducted using structural equation modelling. Findings – The result revealed that PU and ATTU had a direct effect on ELA whilst, PU and PEOU also had a direct relationship on ATTU. Other variables such as CSE and PEOU had an indirect relationship on ELA though they were found to have an insignificant direct relationship on ELA. Practical implications – The level of significance of each construct identified in the study provide practical guidance to school administrators and instructors as to which factors to pay close attention to when implementing e-learning projects within their respective institutions. Originality/value – This study provides insight into ELA from the students’ perspective, through an extension of the TAM model in a developing country context given the existence of cultural differences and societal idiosyncrasies which exist in different contexts, particularly in Africa.

AbstractThe purpose of this article is to present a study that considered the factors that university students have in the real use of e-learning systems to promote self-directed and collaborative learning in the context of their university courses. In addition, a theoretical research scheme based on the TAM model was proposed and an online questionnaire was constructed, which was distributed by e-mail to all students of the Finance and Audit career at the University of the Armed Forces. E-learning is a method of delivering knowledge using information technology and electronic media for the remote users. The advantages of e-learning method can be fully achieved with the postgraduate studies as majority of the postgraduate students are engaged in learning while they are working and also geographically dispersed due to the family and work life thus physically appearing for the lecture sessions are difficult to them. This paper attempts to develop a framework to measure the postgraduate students’ perceived technology acceptance by developing a modified version of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) which replaces perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use in the original model of TAM with relative advantage and complexity and incorporate other variables of trialability, observability, compatibility, psychological wellbeing and social influence of the students. The developed model is validated using 30 postgraduate students from Sri Lanka and thus this model can be used in future researchers to measure the perceived e-learning acceptance of postgraduate students.

This study aims to examine the factors influencing consumers' behavior intention to adopt mobile banking apps. The research uses the TAM model with additional variables such as social influence and perceived risk to evaluate how these factors impact the behavior intention of young customers toward adopting mobile banking services. PLS-SEM was used as the main research method. The findings from this paper reaffirmed that perceived usefulness and social influence are the most influential factor in behavior intention, but perceived ease of use and perceived risk showed insignificant impacts on young consumers' behavior intention in Vietnam. This paper also found that perceived ease of use had no direct impact on behavior intention but an indirect impact through facilitating perceived usefulness. This subject makes a practical and academic contribution in the context of a developing country where is lacking research in mobile banking apps.
