Abstract: During the Covid-19 Pandemic, learning motivation and self-regulation were identified as factors that influenced college student to involving in learn process. The research focus is to explain the objective conditions of learning motivation and self-regulation of college student during the pandemic. The reserach is a quantitative study with an interpretive approach involving 88 college student in 3rd semester in Department of Economic Education at Siliwangi University, as participants. The data was collected by means of a survey in the form of a questionnaire that adopted the measuring instrument of learning motivation and self-regulation developed by Velayutham et al. The survey was carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of googleform so that it was easily accessed by students. Data analysis uses the calculation of the percentage of each indicator and analyzes it in depth. The finding indicate that the condition of student learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic as measured by 3 indicators learning in goal orientation, task value and self-efficacy are in the excellent category with a score of 83%. Self-regulation of college student in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is in the excellent category or with a score of 81%. The excellent categories of learning motivation and self-regulation describe that college students are able to adapt in pandemic emergency online learning.

This study aims to investigate the effects of the learning motivation and parents’ incomes on the college student interest in joining the PPG program study at the Department of Economic education FE UNP. This research is associative descriptive. The research variables were the college student interest in joining the PPG program, learning motivation, and parents’ incomes. The research sample comprised college students 2015 and 2016 admission year using the Proportional Random Sampling technique with a total of 130 college students. The data was collected through a questionnaire. Methods of data analysis using multiple regression. The results of the study partially show: (1) there is a significant negative influence between learning motivation and college student interest in joining the PPG program, (2) there is a significant positive effect of parents' income on college student interest. in joining the PPG program, and (3) there is a significant positive effect between learning motivation and parents' income on college students' interest in joining the PPG program. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.086. this means that the contribution of independent variables of learning motivation and parent's income to the dependent variable of student interest in joining the PPG program was 8,6%. Keywords: ppg program, learning motivation, parents’ incomes

This study applies social capital theory, motivation theory, and systems theories to examine the role of the learning environment and motivation in learning to encourage self-regulation in learning especially effort regulation. This study examines the relationship among learning environment (i.e., student cohesiveness, teacher support, involvement, investigation, task orientation, cooperation, and equity), learning motivation (i.e., learning goal orientation, task value, and self-efficacy), and self-regulated learning in effort regulation. This study also examines the mediating role of learning motivation on relation between learning environment and self-regulation in learning effort. Respondents were 307 students of undergraduate program on business, management, and economics in Yogyakarta and Bandung, Indonesia. Self-report questionnaires were administered to respondents during their regular class periods. Results revealed that students’ perception of learning environment on all dimensions were significantly related to learning motivation and self-regulation in effort regulation. Students’ perception of learning environment especially task orientation dimension was significantly influenced on three dimensions of learning motivation. The result of this study also indicated that learning goal orientation and self-efficacy are the mediating variables in the relationship model. These results supported many of the hypothesized relationships. Further explanations are discussed regarding both the expected and unexpected outcomes.

Drawing on the reciprocal determinism of self-regulation system, a process-based model is used to examine the relationship of learning goal orientation (LGO) among university students with their academic performance, via reciprocal relationships between initial status and change trajectories in academic self-efficacy and feedback-seeking behaviors. A longitudinal study of 316 Chinese university students throughout their first year in college reveals that students who have high LGO in their first month after entering the university generally have higher academic self-efficacy and seek more feedback. Moreover, initial levels of feedback seeking are positively related to academic performance via linear change in academic self-efficacy over time. Limitations of the study and practical implications are discussed.

This study aims to identify and analyze: 1) the perception of students about the style of teaching faculty to student learning motivation Economic Education STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. 2) To determine the motivation of learning facilities for students studying economics education courses STKIP PGRI West Sumatra 3) To Know students' perceptions on faculty teaching styles and learning facilities jointly influence on student learning motivation STKIP PGRI West Sumatra. This study was conducted In economics education courses STKIP PGRI West Sumatra In force 2012. The population in this study as many as 270 people, while the sample in this study as many as 161 people. Results of the study found that: 1) The perception of students about the style of teaching faculty partial effect on learning motivation students education courses economy STKIP PGRI West Sumatra with a coefficient of 0.027 2) Learning Facilities berpengararuh partially on motivation to learn Students STKIP PGRI West Sumatra, with the coefficient of 0.042 3) The perception of students on faculty teaching styles and learning facilities simultaneous effect on student learning motivation STKIP PGRI West Sumatra calculated F value of 1.006. From the results of this study are expected to pay more attention to the style of teaching faculty in the process of learning so that the learning process takes place better interaction with the students so as to increase the motivation of students in the learning process, and the campus can improve campus facilities in supporting the learning process.

Mathematics until today is still considered a difficult subject so that it needs to think about appropriate strategies to encourage students to be able to regulate themselves in learning this subject. This study aimed to test empirically the role of classroom management and mastery goal orientation towards self-regulated learning. The participants of the study were 177 students of state high schools in Sleman, who were selected using a purposive sampling technique. The scales used were self-regulation of mathematics learning scale, classroom management scale, and mastery goal orientation scale. The data analysis using two-predictor regression analysis showed that classroom management and mastery goal simultaneously played a significant role by 68.7% (R2=0.687, F (2.177) =191.243, p<0.01). Classroom management predicted self-regulation (β= -0.130, p < 0.01), and so did mastery goal (β= 0.878, p < 0.01). Based on the results of this study, it could be concluded that self-regulation in learning Mathematics can be determined through classroom management and mastery goals concurrently.
