Asking students to evaluate teaching faculty by every ending semester in modern education is an established trend. In the higher education circles, it is validated based on a large body of research showing a relationship between these evaluations and students’ achievement. The arising problem is whether this relation is positively associated or not, and the presence of a growing debate pertaining to the many factors influencing this correlation. Most of the cited research shows a link between the attitude of students and their achievement. This research studies the effect of students’ grade point average (GPA), together with the type of university as public or private, and students’ major, on their attitude towards faculty teaching evaluations. The results of the multiple regression show a strong relationship between GPA and students’ attitude towards faculty evaluations, suggesting an ethical duality affecting grade inflation.

The aim of the research is to empirical evaluate the effect of organizational formal control and workgroup norms on the deviant workplace behavior of the university faculty members of Pakistan. It further investigates the moderating effect of self-regularity efficacy. The study is primary in nature and used survey method to collect the responses from the teaching faculty of Pakistan. A total of 168 suitable responses were analyzed by using SMART PLS version 3 (Licensed). A PLS-SEM was used for analysis of the collected data. The result showed that when employees find themselves in under the influence of reference others, self-regulatory efficacy help them to attain compliance with significant organizational norms and doing that keep them away from involving in deviant workplace behaviors. Additionally, the results suggest that self-regularity efficacy have a significant part in regulating behaviors and observance   to   right   self-sanctions   for flawed behavior.

The research aims to assess the functional efficiency of private education institutions when performing their task at a high level to satisfy the needs of the city’s residents. It has been recently noticed that people favor private education to government institutions education; a matter which has led to the phenomenon of its spread, and to access its consequences. Its spread has competed not only the governmental institutions, but also the private institutions among themselves in providing the best educational services and survive accordingly. The present paper further examines the pressing negative side on the teaching faculty, especially with regard to their monthly income. The positive and negative points altogether have made it urgent to find the best and proper solutions to enhance faculty members’ output, and increase their positive sides to serve the educational service. Such steps cannot be achieved without conducting tests inside these private educational institutions to interpret all their scientific queries. The study has used the descriptive, functional and analytical approach, and adopted a field study by collecting relevant data and information for the purpose of the research and its problem based on the reality of the facilities of this service for the year (2020). The first two questionnaire forms were distributed to a sample of (1520) parents of students in private schools, by taking one student per family. The second sample amounted to (200) survey forms distributed to the teaching faculty. Results have shown that the high percentage of students registered in the primary stage greatly surpassed the rest of the educational stages. Besides, the increase in the educational level provided by these institutions is the reason for its spread; that is why, the level of students’ parents’ satisfaction has increased to (good) level.

Due to the lack of professional development time and awareness, well-directed training content, respect for teachers and value for education, the professional development of rural border elementary school teachers is a problem that needs to be solved urgently. The study suggests that the teaching faculty should be complemented and strengthened, the contents of teacher training should be “localized,” the internal drive of teachers should be stimulated, the respect for teachers and education should be promoted, thus improving the overall quality of the teaching faculty and promoting the balanced development of compulsory education.

The process of attracting, evaluating, and hiring individuals for an organization is known as recruitment. Selection is the process of identifying an individual from a pool of job applicants with the requisite qualifications and competencies to fill jobs in the organization. The purpose of this paper is to explore the effects of recruitment and selection practices on teaching faculty satisfaction in community colleges. The researcher adopted a Qual-Quan approach with a descriptive and cross-sectional research design. A structured questionnaire was applied for quantitative information collection from 49 respondents, and an FGD was conducted to collect qualitative information. Stratified and random sampling techniques were used to select the sample from the targeted population, and data processing was done using SPSS version 26. In order to reach a conclusion, ANOVA, Chi-square and frequency statistical tools were used for data analysis. The analyses showed there was a significant impact of recruitment and selection practices on teaching faculty satisfaction in community colleges of Nepal.

Aims: The study examined mental health status of teachers working at RPCAU, Pusa. Study Design: A Descriptive design was implemented. Place and Duration of the Study: Dr. Rajendra Prasad Central Agricultural University, Pusa, Bihar in the year 2021. Methodology: One hundred and sixty teachers from all the colleges of RPCAU were selected, by using multistage purposive sampling technique and administered with a mental health inventory (MHI) developed by Jagdish and Srivastav (1988). The statistical techniques employed were frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation (SD) and the obtained results were analyzed accordingly. Results: The findings suggested that majority of teaching community of RPCAU, Pusa were mainly having good mental health. With respect to different dimensions of mental health, it is evident that majority of teaching community of RPCAU, Pusa were having better mental health across their integration of personality (45.62%), and group-oriented attitude (43.75%), while positive self-evaluation (38.12%), perception of reality (41.87%), autonomy (55.00%) and environmental competence (38.12%) were the other dimensions in which majority of teaching community was found to possess average mental health. Conclusion: It can be concluded from the findings that teaching community of RPCAU, Pusa were primarily having good mental health. Since the teaching faculty of the University were having highest degree in their possession and being the faculty in Central University, their wages and perks being paid regularly in order to meet their relevant needs hence, better mental health are the ingredient under which they are working.

Aims: The purpose of this study is to identify the teacher’s awareness and adoption of bloom’s taxonomy in-class assessment (examination) by teachers of Gedu College of Business Studies (GCBS), Bhutan. Study design: The descriptive and content analysis was applied. Place and Duration of Study: Teaching faculty of GCBS and exam question paper for the year June 2020 was studied. The study was conducted between June 2019 and December 2020. Methodology: The census survey was done with 63 teachers of which 48 responded (38 men, 10 women). The teachers’ awareness of Bloom’s taxonomy was assessed in terms of knowledge and information received on bloom’s taxonomy, and the exam question paper was analyzed to comprehend, how adequately teachers have adopted bloom’s taxonomy in the assessment of the student. Results: Results revealed that all the GCBS teachers are aware of the concepts and the majority think that their understanding of the concepts is good and above (79.2%). Though teachers are aware and familiar with bloom’s taxonomy concepts, those concepts were not used accordingly in preparation for the exam paper. The overall marks distributed in six levels of Bloom's taxonomy show that exam paper questions are slightly skewed to the lower level of Bloom's taxonomy. Conclusion: Without a careful mapping of questions according to Bloom's taxonomy, the examination will not yield the desirable objective of the module.

Objectives:  To gauge/evaluate the knowledge and skill of BLS trained and untrained teaching faculty members at postgraduate tertiary care training institute Materials and Methods: A prevalidated questionnaire comprising of 44 questions was distributed among teaching faculty of three big tertiary care, post-graduate institutes. The questions were focused on evaluating the knowledge and awareness of the participants. Total number of the participants was 345 Statistical Analysis: Data was entered and analyzed by using SPSS (version 23.0). Results: The mean knowledge score related to basic life support was 4.57±1.81 out of total 12 points and the mean score for level of awareness regarding BLS was 34.5 %. Moreover, only 28.15% were aware of the current AHA guidelines Conclusion: The low level of knowledge and awareness regarding BLS in the health care workers depicts that regular BLS hands-on- workshops should be conducted and should be a part of mandatory training.

In developed countries of the world, many studies have been carried out on the link between engagement and task performance in different context. Ignorable studies are conducted in developing countries like Pakistan. The aim of the present study was to explore potential link between engagement and task performance. This link was analyzed through statistical techniques called Pearson Correlations and Regression. The data was gathered through self-administered questionnaire distributed among teaching faculty working in the private owned universities. A total of 224 questionnaire were returned by respondents. After analyzing these questionnaires the results showed that there was positive connection in engagement and task performance and thus confirmed the hypothesis of the study.
