Purpose: To highlight the key trends in the transportation industry and the role of emerging technologies and digital transformation in acceleration of value creation. The conceptual framework suggests how such transformation could be implemented. Design/methodology/approach: Research in a focus group was carried out where selected digital transformation frameworks were reviewed, and one was selected as the most applicable to the transportation industry. The selected framework was adopted for the transportation industry. Findings: 1. Value creation should be positioned as the key objective of transformation. 2. Digital transformation is not so much about technology as it is about people. 3. The staged approach towards transformation allows it to be paced with account being taken of the maturity of technology as well as the maturity of competencies across the organization. For a successful digital transformation, the organization invests in development of digital capabilities. Moving towards digital means a mindset shift, cultural change and adoption of new methods of working. Research limitations/implications: Transportation companies are at the early stage of transformation at such a scale. The case studies on successful transformations are limited. Therefore, experience is gathered mainly by the test and learn process. It is recommended that findings are validated with a wider group of experts when transformation matures. Comparing the same framework usage in other industries can also offer additional learnings to be considered by change leaders. Originality/value: Transportation industry is in a process of transformation towards connected, electric and autonomous solutions, accelerated during the COVID-19 pandemic. The presented framework, adopted for the transportation industry, offers a practical tool for executives and change leaders to lead the transformation.

The purpose of this pre/post-intervention quantitative experimental study was to investigate the effects of a sequence of lessons grounded in the principles of culturally relevant pedagogy on students enrolled in a college algebra course at an HBCU. In particular, the paper focuses on the interaction between these lessons and academic achievement (students' ability to learn, process, and affinity towards the subject they are learning about) with regards to students' grades and their views about mathematics. Two classes of students, an experimental group and a control group, engaged in mathematics lessons that were grounded in rigorous mathematical teaching practices; but the experimental course received lessons that also incorporated principles of culturally relevant pedagogy. Results indicated that students in the experimental course showed significant quantitative gains on the various measures related to academic achievement and self-efficacy in mathematics.

Abstract: During the Covid-19 Pandemic, learning motivation and self-regulation were identified as factors that influenced college student to involving in learn process. The research focus is to explain the objective conditions of learning motivation and self-regulation of college student during the pandemic. The reserach is a quantitative study with an interpretive approach involving 88 college student in 3rd semester in Department of Economic Education at Siliwangi University, as participants. The data was collected by means of a survey in the form of a questionnaire that adopted the measuring instrument of learning motivation and self-regulation developed by Velayutham et al. The survey was carried out by distributing questionnaires in the form of googleform so that it was easily accessed by students. Data analysis uses the calculation of the percentage of each indicator and analyzes it in depth. The finding indicate that the condition of student learning motivation during the Covid-19 pandemic as measured by 3 indicators learning in goal orientation, task value and self-efficacy are in the excellent category with a score of 83%. Self-regulation of college student in learning during the Covid-19 pandemic is in the excellent category or with a score of 81%. The excellent categories of learning motivation and self-regulation describe that college students are able to adapt in pandemic emergency online learning. Abstrak: Pada masa Pandemi Covid-19, motivasi belajar dan regulasi diri diidentifikasi sebagai faktor yang mempengaruhi keterlibatan mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran. Fokus penelitian ini menjelaskan kondisi objektif motivasi belajar dan regulasi diri mahasiswa selama masa pandemi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan interpretative yang melibatkan 88 orang mahasiswa semester 3 pada Jurusan Pendidikan Ekonomi di Universitas Siliwangi, sebagai partisipan. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara survey berupa kuesioner yang mengadopsi instrumen pengukuran motivasi belajar dan regulasi diri yang dikembangkan oleh Velayutham dkk. Survey dilakukan dengan menyebarkan kuesioner berupa googleform agar mudah diakses oleh mahasiswa. Analisis data menggunakan perhitungan presentase dari setiap indikator dan menganalisisnya secara mendalam. Temuan ini menunjukan bahwa kondisi motivasi belajar mahasiswa selama pandemi Covid-19 yang diukur dengan tiga indikator yaitu, orientasi pada tujuan, nilai tugas dan efikasi diri termasuk kategori sangat tinggi dengan skor 83%. Regulasi diri mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran selama masa pandemi Covid-19 tergolong pada kategori sangat tinggi atau dengan skor 81%. Kategori motivasi belajar dan regulasi diri yang sangat tinggi tersebut menggambarkan bahwa mahasiswa mampu berdaptasi pada pembelajaran online darurat selama masa pandemi ini.

ABSTRAKTujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) mengembangkan media pembelajaran sains melalui video animasi berbasis PBL pada mahasiswa IPA semester IV. (2) meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa pada mata kuliah IPA-2 dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran sains melalui video animasi pada mahasiswa semester IV PRODI IPA Universitas Negeri Manado. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan metode Research and Developmen (R &D) dengan model Dick dan Carrey yang meliputi 7 tahap yaitu perencanaan, studi eksplorasi, pengembangan bentuk awal produk, instrument pengumpulan dan analisi data, revisi berdasarkan hasil validasi dan desiminasi produk. subjek uji coba pada penelitian dan pengembangan ini di review oleh, (1) orang ahli pembelajaran,  (1) orang ahli media, uji kelompok kecil, uji coba lapangan atau kelompok besar,  sampel diambil pada 1 kelas dengan jumlah 21 orang mahasiswa. Nilai thitung < ttabel (-15,518 < -2,086) dan signifikansi < 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05), kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini bahwa proses pembelajaran yang diberi perlakuan media pembelajaran sains melalui video animasi berbasis PBL, dapat meningkatkan nilai rata-rata pada mata kuliah IPA-2 materi sistem pencernaan makanan pada manusia.Kata kunci : Media Pembelajaran Sains, Problem Based Learning, Video Animasi. ABSTRACTPurpose in this study is (1)To  develop learning media science through video animation based PBL (Problem Based Learning) at students IPA fourth semester. (2) improve student learning outcomes in the course IPA-2 by using learning media science through video animation on student semester IV department IPA Manado State University. The approach used is a qualitative approach with descriptive type, to describe active of teacher and student in the lesson study based learn process with stages (1) planning (plan), (2) implementation (do), and (3) reflection (see). The use of hand puppet media can make students more active in the learning process. In addition, student learning outcomes are as expected, with an average of the total number of students 90.83% above the KKM. </pre><pre><strong>Abstrak:</strong> Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media boneka tangan dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran PKn materi keberagaman budaya di kelas V SD Brawijaya Smart School. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif, untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran berbasis <em>lesson study, </em>yaitu (1) perencanaan, (2) pelaksanaan, dan (3) refleksi. The strategics plan is a guideline for a short plan.the strategic plan isn’t as holy as the holy book till it couldn’t be changed.depend on the route record of this strategics plan,it can be evaluated.for it implementation, RKA oftenly not according to the strategic plan. even it found that RKA is more priority than the strategic plan.so it considered like useless thing and it only needed if it necessary. component of agency performance appraisal, and the proo of the documentation for evidence it’s realistic as same as planned (has a track record exist). Arranging the strategic plan of STAIN Curup process during 2015-2019 it started with mapping the activities until 2014. besides of this situation, it could be known all of the troubles and the defiances which it has influence the functions and the main assignment. more over, it needed the analysis about the influence of strategic environment which it involved. even it direct or indirect, with main assignment or a function, although it internal or external. the influence of internal strategic would be trasformated into the strength and the weakness, so the influence of external strategic will be transformating into the opportunities and the treath. By considering of this influence environment strategic change, it propose the rules of wisdom to reach the performance’s target inside arranging strategic plan of STAIN Curup 2015-2019. to clear the main assignment and it function’s way, the vision it would be formulated and described into yhe mission side.based on vision and mission, it formulated the purpose , target, priority,strategy and the wisdom’s way. The strategic plan of STAIN Curup in 2015-2019 need to analyzed for get the understanding complex has been reached. began from analyzing the strategic planning, strategic plan and strategic management, analyzing design of organization as the initial supply to plan the strategic, analyze of building the capability of natural resource and evolving structural organization, analyze the payment and suspension organization system,analyze of matching the internal process and learn process in an organization,analyze centralization and decentralization inside strategic management,analyze the strategic when control and analyzing management change and organization learners. The service quality is an advantage that is expected and the control towards this advantage is managed to meets the needs and expectations of the customers. Every business must have good service quality, this apply to in educational institutes services. The quality is an important point of consideration for purchasing. Education has very important role in development and progress of next generation of a nation. Kindergarten or pre school education is a golden ages which is in this ages, a child will be easy to accept and remembering a lesson. To assess the service quality using service quality dimension with indicators such as, (1) tangible: buildings, library, worship area, policlinic, canteen, parking lot, sport square, playground, (2) reliability: students’ programming, (3) responsive: serving student’s academic, serving student’s administration, responsive toward problems, (4) assurance: high quality teacher, security, serving in hospitable and friendly attitude, (5) empathy: information of teach and learn process, student-teacher interaction, student’s participation opportunity, providing solution. This research is trying to understand whether the service quality in educational institutes can affecting the student’s parent in making decision simultaneously and partially in choosing of TK Raudlatul Jannah. The population of this research is the student’s parent of TK Raudlatul Jannah, with the sample total of 56 parents, using saturated sampling technique. The analysis technique being used is the multiple linier regression and simple linier regression. The research using multiple linier regression acquired the significant influence from  service quality variables is 77% to the decision of student’s parent in preferring educational institutes variable. The result from simple linier regression test there are influence oaf each variables. The influence of tangbles variable is 44,3%, reliability variable is 42,7%, responsiveness variabel is 53,7%, assurance variable is 48,5%, and emphaty variable is 46,4% to the dicision student’s  parent in preferring educational institutes.
