A Grunwald-Winstein treatment of the specific rates of solvolysis of α-bromoisobutyro phenone in 100% methanol and in several aqueous ethanol, methanol, acetone, 2,2,2-trifluoroethanol (TFE), and 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propanol (HFIP) mixtures gives a good logarithmic correlation against a linear combination of NT (solvent nucleophilicity) and YBr (solvent ionizing power) values. The l and m sensitivity values are compared to those previously reported for α-bromoacetophenone and to those obtained from parallel treatments of literature specific rate values for the solvolyses of several tertiary mesylates containing a C(=O)R group attached at the α-carbon. Kinetic data obtained earlier by Pasto and Sevenair for the solvolyses of the same substrate in 75% aqueous ethanol (by weight) in the presence of silver perchlorate and perchloric acid are analysed using multiple regression analysis.

Abstract. The purpose of this research was to examine the relation between democratic-parenting and self confidence with independent new college student. The subject of the study were 131 new  college student of faculty preaching the state islamic institute sunan ampel surabaya. Data were collected by scale of democratic-parenting, self confidence and independent scale. The data analysis used multiple regression analysis showed that the democratic-parenting anda self confidence have a significant relation with independent new  college student. The result of correlation analysis between either democratic-parenting or self confidence with independent showed a positive correlation signifycantly. Variables of democratic parenting and self confidence give effecttive contribution toward independent new college student about 51,3%.Key words : Democratic-Parenting, Self Confidence, Independent New College Student.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between religiosity and social support with happiness among perpetrators of religious conversion. The data was collected from 60 participants who had experienced with religious conversion (muallaf) in Chinese Community. The participants were between 40 and 55 years of age. Data of this study was analysed by using a multiple regression analysisThe results of multiple regression analysis showed F = 20,060 with p = 0, 00 (p < 0, 01), it was revealed that religiosity and social support were found to be highly significant with happiness. Therefore, the result of this study indicated that hypothesis that there is any relationship between religiosity and social support with happiness was accepted. The results of partial correlation analysis were; (1) there was positive correlation between religiosity and happiness (r partial = 0,473, t = 4,056, with p = 0,000 (p<0,01)). It means,by increasing the religiosity, the happiness among perpetrators of religious conversion also will increase and (2) there was no any correlation between social support and happiness among perpetrators of religious conversion(r partial = 0,221 t = 1,715,with p = . 0,092 (p>0, 05)).

The present study is an attempt to explore the contemporary profitability status of 5 (five) selected fuel and power sector companies enlisted in DSE, Bangladesh and the interrelationship between sales based returns (GPM, OPM, and NPM) and investment based returns (ROA and ROE) over the period of 2012 to 2016 for the same companies. Using descriptive statistics the present study has found that the profitability position of the sample companies is satisfactory, multiple correlation analysis revealed that there is a positive association between sales based returns and ROA whereas negative association between sales based returns and ROE, and the multiple regression analysis showed that 97.70 percent variance is explained by the predictors OPM, ROA, and ROE of the dependent variable OABR (overall accounting based return) in the selected fuel and power sector companies of Bangladesh.

This study aims to determine the effect of the sale revenue, revenue sharing, and rental income partially and simultaneously to return on assets (ROA) in Shariah Mandiri Bank Jakarta. To analyze the data (annual financial statements from 2005-2009)used descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis. Regression results using a significant level of α = 5%, and the results of this study demonstrate that the partial sale of revenue, revenue-sharing and rental income no significant effect on return on assets (ROA), with each sig is above 0,05 ie 0.584, 0.74, and 0.859. Simultaneous independent variables (income buying and selling, sharing revenues and rental income) also did not significantly influence (dependent variable) is return on assets (ROA), with sig 0.351 which is above 0.05.

The main source of growth for Indian Economy is Banks. Everyone has different needs like someone require loan to buy a house, to buy an equipment for farming etc. and these needs are fulfilled by the financial sector of India which comprises of banks, NBFC, cooperative societies etc. NPA (Non-Performing Asset) is a critical factor which has adversely impacted the development and growth of the economy. This research discusses the impact of NPAs on the profits of banks. This research attempts to analyze the impact of few important financial heads on NPAs of banks and to suggest on effective management of NPAs. According to RBI data, five banks (public and private) with highest NPAs were taken for the study for period 2014-2015 to 2018-2019. The research applied correlation analysis to compute the relationship between net profits and NPAs and multiple regression analysis to determine the impact of important financial heads on NPAs.

The purposes of this research are to determine the influence of compensation, motivation, and work characteristics on Work Satisfaction. The analysis method used in this research was Pearson’s correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis with using three predictors. Based on the research, can be concluded as follows there is a significant positive effect of compensation to Work Satisfaction in PT Jaya Metal Jakarta. There is a significant positive effect of motivation on Work Satisfaction. Also, there is a significant positive effect of Work Characteristics on Work Satisfaction. Thus, the overall results of this analysis support the hypothesis that there were significant influences of compensation, motivation, and work characteristics on work satisfaction.DOI: 10.15408/etk.v11i1.1873

Abstract, This study aimed to test whether there is a relationship  of self-efficacy and social support with students adjustment in  learning. Subjects were 123 students of class VII students consisting of 62 men and 61 women taken at random in SMP Negeri 1 Larangan kabupaten Pamekasan. The results of multiple regression analysis obtained for R = 0.759 ; F = 81.600 , p = 0.000 ( p < 0.01 ) . The results of the analysis of this data show self-efficacy and social support of parents jointly associated with the adjustment of students in learning , at 56.9 % . Results of correlation analysis of self-efficacy with self-adjustment of students in the learning acquired partial r = 0.430 ; t = 5.222 and p = 0.000 ( p < 0.01 ) . These data show there is a positive correlation between self-efficacy with self-adjustment of students in learning , with effective contribution of 24.22% . The results of correlation analysis of parent social support with students adjustment in learning obtained partial r = 0.580 ; t = 7.799 and p = 0.000 ( p < 0.01 ) . These data show there is a positive correlation between social support of parents with students adjustment in learning, the effective contribution of 32.68%.Keyword : Adjustment, self efficacy, social support of parents.
