Knowledge is needed for children with special needs to support their quality of life. This is a challenge for prospective educators / prospective teachers. A deeper knowledge is needed to really understand children with special needs. This research is carried out to develop a skill simulator application for autistic child’s prospective educator using Virtual Reality technology. This application will be used as a teaching medium which incorporates motion sensor tools. The sensors will make the virtual application looks realistic. The application was developed using the ADDIE method (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). The application development begins with discovering the characteristic of autistic children. This is done to formulate the learning materials. The knowledge base of the autistic children was obtained from the Sekolah Luar Biasa (SLB). By using the obtained knowledge, storyboard was designed and implemented. The developed application has been evaluated by 16 prospective child educators with autism and two professional experts. In general, the application can help prospective educators understand the characteristics of children with autism. Moreover, it provides a safe and pleasant teaching skill practice for the prospective educators.

The article deals with the problem of school adaptation of elementary school pupils studying in specialized boarding schools for children with special needs and musculoskeletal disorders. The article studies special materials and methods for diagnosis of school desadaptation. Reforms on inclusive education began to be carried out in Tua Pejat area, North Sipora District, Mentawai Islands by conducting training on the implementation of inclusive education by Padang State University lecturers in the context of carrying out community service for special education lecturers, followed by elementary school teachers from six elementary schools and special school teachers from two special schools in the North Sipora sub-district of the Mentawai islands. The training was conducted with a question and answer lecture method, accompanied by a demonstration simulation method and assignments on developing a learning plan (RPP) in an inclusive class, namely modified lesson plans and modified lesson plans adapted to the characteristics and learning needs of children with special needs in the classroom. The results of the training show that collaboration between elementary and high school teachers is established, both by collaborating and cooperating in serving children with special needs in primary schools, where ing to assist elementary school teachers in matters related to the identification and assessment of children with special needs in inclusive schools, as well as working together in developing lesson plans and PPI for children with special needs in inclusive classes, and learning strategies in inclusive settings.

According to article 15 of Law No. 20 of 2003 on National Education System, that kind of education for children with special needs is Special Education. Article 32 (1) of Law No. 20 of 2003 imposes limits that Special Education is education for students who have difficulty in following the learning process because of physical, emotional, mental, social, and/or have the potential intelligence and special talents. The purpose of this study was to determine the treatment of children with special needs in inclusive schools in elementary school inclusion and know the resistance received by teachers in dealing with children with special needs in elementary school inclusion Glagah subdistrict in Lamongan district. Researchers used purposive sampling to choice of subjects in this study, to specialize in the subject in accordance with the purpose or goal of this study. Subjects in this study were three teachers who teach in the classroom who are children with special needs, the three principals in three schools as well as the inclusion of six parents whose children including children with special needs in inclusive schools in the District Glagah Lamongan. Technique data collecting by observation, interview techniques, and documentation techniques. The benefits of research to contribute about appropriate handler for special needs children who enroll in primary school inclusion. This study used a qualitative approach. This study was a qualitative descriptive.

Parents of children with special needs want their children to attend public schools, together with other children. The desire is supported by the government by launching an inclusive school. This study aims 1). Knowing the characteristics of children with special needs in Elementary School (Inclusion) in Palangkaraya City, 2). Knowing the impact of the presence of children with special needs in Elementary School (Inclusion) in Palangka Raya city, 3). Knowing the abilities of children with special needs in Elementary School (Inclusion) in Palangka Raya city. The research approach used is the qualitative approach. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the characteristics of children with special needs individually vary. However, its main characteristics, namely experiencing weakness in the academic field. On the other hand, children with special needs in Palangka Raya City Inclusion School have more advantages in the non-academic field.

Inclusive schools are places for education for children with special needs who have the same rights as normal children. and learning in inclusive schools is one class without any difference. The purpose of this study was to determine peer assistance in managing students with special needs. The subjects of this study were 23 students at Sawocangkring Elementary School. This type of research is a descriptive qualitative method with an interactive approach. The results of this study are peers have a very important function in the development of attitudes, skills, socializing and peers can be used as peer tutors for children with special needs in explaining the material and accompany during breaks and other activities.
